They may have straight privilege, and you disliking them couldn’t be risking their life, but nobody has a say in their sexuality and maybe not a majority, but many heterosexuals are very much allies of LGBTQ+. It’s not fair to hate all heterosexual people the same as it’s not fair to hate all LGBTQ+ people. Heterophobia simply does not exist. Oppressed people can get harassed, assaulted, even murdered. Majority of Heterosexuals are anti-lgbtq but we at least have hope for some.

It's strange to me, especially as a straight person who knows plenty of gay people. I think that double standard might be partially that in their eyes, while male promiscuity isn't necessarily wonderful, it's what's "natural" and has the potential benefit of producing children. Also, I bet a lot of their views on how gay people are are coming from how gay people are usually shown in films and such rather than on reality.

I'm a trans guy. Most people who hit on me are in fact women... and I keep having to turn them down, because I'm also very gay. I'd say that's because they think I'm cis, but I'm not all that masculine, just very androgynous, and not even on T yet...
My conclusion is that women aren't a hive mind and all have different preferences, but it generally helps if you're not being a misogynistic dick to them.

I don't think marriage is stupid personally but I'm not getting married until I'm as absolutely sure as possible that I'm ready to commit to a lifetime of being with whoever I'm thinking of marrying. Like part of the reason why people aren't getting married left and right is because people in older generations used to marry right out of high school, and people who are a product of those marriages (such as myself) know from first hand experience that those kinds of marriages usually don't last.

It's funny that he thinks he's the epitome of masculinity or something. People think he's gay because he's doing a hell of a lot of projecting and the like. It honestly sounds like he's trying to justify why he can't be gay with a bunch of shitty takes he's been fed over the years, but it's more like convincing himself that he can't be. Also, there are some stunningly masculine gay men & trans men, but not all of them are and that's beautiful too. It says a lot about him that he assumes people saying he's gay is an insult, when people are saying that to him it's not to insult him. Does he ever actually say he isn't gay? Idk, I can't bring myself to watch it again, his circuclar thinking is so bizarre. Why do men like him think they're the authority on women's happiness? What research has he cited or done? I think most women can speak for themselves, and most gay people have at some time in there life been closeted so are therefore in a position to know how that feels, yes there could be a little projecting going on, but mostly people have just been there, done that, got the t-shirt. We've all seen those men who claim to be able to cure the gays, with the conversion therapy bullshiz, and then 5 orn10nyears later they come out as gay. Yeah, that's the vibe this guy is giving out.

-childless women around 50 are probably mostly either that way by choice or because they can't have them (slight generalisation, I know and there's no doubt women out there that doesn't apply to, but I feel like most women who want children will have found a way to make that happen by 50), and while that might be something some women struggle with, i feel that by 50 most of us have come to terms with it. Although I can only speak for myself as I'm nearing 50. Plus, I know many deeply unhappy women around 50 who have kids!
-not all gay people are promiscuous. Just ask the lovely elderly gay couple i know who have been together 40 years! Or the other gay couples I known who've been together for around 15 years. Most gay people I have known (even the ones who are enjoying there "fornication phase" lol) just want to find love and a long-term partner to share life with.
