Apparently it's bc when you have it your hormones are going crazy, causing you to be emotional, have weird cravings, and things like that. Well, this dialogue could have happened in germany as well in the exact some style. At least in the rural area i grew up in. I moved to a bigger city and surrounded myself with cool people. All people of my current environment are so relaxed when it comes to love, relationships, sex, marriage and so on...
oh pls everyone here just keep dragging those old marriage or wife jokes 😭😭
oh yup, they're also very common,or should I say a regular part of my country's sense of humor (rural and more developed parts of Croatia). Idk I often see men treat women like trophies or when they speak up or stop being a perfect emotionless doll, beat them up. It's scary how we became so desentizied to it that we think of it as "normal" or "whatever,it is what it is,has been for decades". Whoever wants to change it gets shunned for being a "sensitive little bitch" and similar adjectives. So we just bathe is this sewage water of violence and biblical depictions of leading a "virtuous" life.
Born and raised in the US here. I’ve met men whose whole outward lives were hating their wives. It’s weird and unsettling. I was like “the no fault divorce has been a thing since my mom was born” and they look at me like I’d grown a third head.
I never understood the stereotype of women on their periods that we're crazy and are crazy about chocolate and ice cream. Because I don't act like that, my mom doesn't act like that and my stepmom doesn't act like that. So where does this stereotype come from?
I don't know. Chocolate is good but I'm not crazy about it and I barely even eat anything on my period.
Apparently it's bc when you have it your hormones are going crazy, causing you to be emotional, have weird cravings, and things like that. It doesn't make me more emotional than usual (usually just angry) or have cravings I don't normally have so idk where it comes from, but apparently a lot of people experience it.
