Not to speak politics here, but Dongbei has gained tremendously from the Rus Ukr conflict. It's a great time to be in Dongbei. Enjoy it!
Red beans are better known as Azuki beans in the West
You should do a video with ThomasAfu. He's German.
Hi, Amy. I subscribed through your link, and the price shows $149.5, but I still got charged the full price $299+tax, what is going on?
The way he kept repeating "It's a chicken" and "It's a small chicken". So adorable.
😅😅
Derk can't even look straight at it when Amy was eating. 😂
it's funny how Derk can't bear the idea of intestine wrap around leek, when the staple German sausage literally USES PIG INTESTINE as the sausage casings
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Exactly! It's like he doesn't know what actual sausage is made of.
@@inkbold8511westerners hypoocrisy... hes cute but this logic is used by many racist westerners
need a few steins of beer to wash it down
By now, Amy must have shower him this comment. I wonder if he would quit eating sausage from now on 😂😂😂
😂😂😂 your bf Chinese is getting much better. He is getting more adventurous in food!
Trilingual Couple. English Chinese German.
I am laughing so hard right now. LOL.
As a Chinese, I myself won't dare to try that.
Brave Amy.
Same, same...毛鸡蛋我完全不敢试。
😂 yeah the majority of people probably won’t be able to try it in China.
看着就下不去嘴,但有机会还是要尝试一下
Yea I think 90% of Chinese people won’t try it
小时候吃过,挺好吃的
Derks reaction to finding something you were nervous to try and then his reaction to you eating it were so funny and adorable 😂
Imagine Derk and Amy's dad doing a Chinese food challenge together. I will be laughing my head off all the way through the video 😆😆😆
😅😅😅, boyfriend so happy to find that challenge for Amy 😂😂😂 you are such a boss Amy ❤❤❤
He looks SOOO pleased with his discovery. I think this is shaping up as multiple paybacks. They are a fantastic couple, and love this insight into China.
It’s amazing derk is really getting use to Amy’s crazy food adventures,, he’s getting so adventurous now😂😂
In the Philippines, we call that Balut and normally we just boil the fertilized duck egg and eat it like a boiled egg with vinegar and a little salt. I like to try that dish, seems yummy!
Amy is the best! You’re always up for a challenge, and I’m so impressed by your willingness to do something so many of us would not even
dare to try!
Laughing when Derk smiles and says 'Here we go, here we go!'
😂😂😂 Derk hurting his knee after he pulls off his dance move - made me LOl!!
In Filipino cuisine, the name for a duck or chicken egg that is partially fertilized and then steamed is called "balut." It is a popular street food in the Philippines. In Vietnamese cuisine, a similar dish is known as "hột vịt lộn" or "trứng vịt lộn." Both dishes involve consuming partially developed eggs.
You are so brave and so open to the foreign culture. Most Chinese can not try fertilized egg including me. Your efforts are appreciated.
I used to eat it as a kid, but now I can't handle it either
我不敢吃😂
Those consider more like a delicacy to the older generation. I still remember my parents bought those home and steam it, like how you do with steam pork. I couldn't stomach it, every time they made those, the children at home go ick 😓🤢😨😰😱. Lucky they did not force the kids to eat them, they keep it all to themselves. 😂🤣 I did took a bite not knowing what it was, it actually not terrible as it look. It is just a matter if you could stomach the thought of what it is.
那种东西,中国很多人,都不吃
小时候有被同学忽悠过吃……后来再也没吃过了,二十多年再也么吃过😅
oh my gosh! Amy is brave and bold!!! Felt like Derk finally got his revenge, after Amy got him to try all the challenging food over the last few months.
I definitely deserved this challenge!!
@@BlondieinChina Don’t tell Derk that sausages are made using intestines, his whole world will come falling down.
@@HcmfWice 😂😂😂
@@BlondieinChina我是中国人,但我从来不敢吃那些小鸡,非常恶心🤢
You can tell he missed you after your time away!!! The way he looks at you is so pure 😭😭😭
“i asked more spicy”
🤣
thats reminds me about chicken wings challenge back to Beijing🤣
got u Derk
even myself
29 years Northern Chinese (HB province)haven't eaten that unborn egg once😅
someone did sell them when I was a kid, just really rare
Hahaha. Derk is just so funny, "fei chang hao". haha
Lovely couple, lovely place, lovely food, lovely dance and lovely video😆👏🏻 I kept laughing😂BF is really cute and you're brave, Amy! 👉🏻🐣
Thank you for your introduce👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I'd like to see more Derk being scared and nervous of food. Please do more to him! "Euhhhhh, we've been in the market for 1 minute, and we're for the ultimate challenge!" love it
My favorite Derk is back, yeah!!! He is so genuine and has such lovely temperament, which is not like any of Germans I've ever come to know.
**Just when I thought the already-super fun video can't get any better, Dirk gave us some random dance moves 16:30 (paired with the bystander uncle's puzzled gaze #地铁老人看手机#)--that is THE best moment LOL Welcome back to the Big North East Amy and super nice to see Dirk again!!
---this was my initial response before Dirk's showcase of his iconic dance move (super impressive btw): The Mao Jidan (fertilized egg) is still a challenge for me LOL Good food, good vibe and some excessively loud music really highlight the incredible atmosphere there.
Yes yes, I couldn’t help laughing when Dirk dancing …thinking, 德国中学的广播体操还带深蹲吗?
Derk Chinese pun at the beginning made me laugh so hard. I wonder if he realized it.
You and Derk are so precious! I love the videos with you both together best. Something about seeing people with the person they love most. I think you are the most you when you are with him :)
I know this is about food but I love the way he looks at you :) It's so sweet
Amy such a adventurous gourmet food connoisseur more open minded than most people !! Dirk can't believe that Amy enjoyed the taste of Balut he must be having nightmares in his dreams that she is more brave than him in the foodie world of bizzare foods !
I’ve seen many a RUclipsr eat a fertilized chicken egg, but no one ever pointed out the innards is still yolk. Amy out here with the PREMIUM food content.
When you come to Europe, I assume you’d go through Munich. Please check out Max’s Beef Noodle (hand pulled noodles) at Sendlinger Tor and Türkitch Kebap (this is the actual name of the place, not misspelled) in front of the Hauptbahnhof. Two of my favourite places!
The fertilized eggs are popular in southeast Asia as well!!! I love eating that tbh!
Hi that is the one you met in Harbour city in HK this afternoon. I am so glad to have a photo with you. Have fun in HK with your bf.
Hey Amy, my Wife and I subscribed for almost 1 and half years now and just wanted to say we love your videos please keep up the amazing content ❤️
Thank you so so much! Your message means the world 💕💕💕💕
@@BlondieinChinawhere is your Chinese passport?
I'm Chinese, I eat all the weird things, I eat insects, offal, strange seafood, various animals. but I've never tried these eggs and never will.😅 how brave you are!
Finally graduated from the USYD, going back to China soon, cannot wait to dive into the foods! Got a job in Xi’an, I’m literally watching your videos as my food guide in that city😂
This lady is brave. Even some locals would not eat it.
anyone notice Derk 's eyes full of love to Amy, oh my!
Derk is making good progress in learning Chinese. Well done mate 加油!
Pls make more vids of food challenges with Derk 😂 loved it!!!
It was fun to see you with your parents in Italy, but it's also so awesome to see you with Derk in Changchun. Fun episode!
I thought Derk is German
"I'll also pay for it, no problem" 😂😂😂
Northeast China is so fun. Enjoy! BTW, your bf’s Mandarin pronunciation is cute
Your boyfriend is cheeky. I like 😂😂
Amy's robot dance kills me hahahaha
This was such a fun video! 😊..love the night market challenge and of course Dirk's amazing moves! That robot clock hand was impressive!
He really missed you ,he keep repeating how many days you are away from him. Both of you are such a cute and adorable couple ♥
I laughed when I saw Dirk eating sausage. Ha-ha. He said he was willing to take risks, but he was stumped on the first one. Ha-ha. Amy, I love how you guys interact.
you both look perfect match Amy, glad you boyfriend came to China as well
HAHAHA how Derk is misinterpreting fei chang and end it with "hao"? :D :D And then the face and reaction when he finds out what it really is, I love it!!! Derk, du wirst mir immer sympathischer haha
To the German gentleman nervous about pig intestine: guess what wurst/sausage casings are made of! 😊
You’re more daring than that guy. Admirable
You guys are just way to funny... I love the closing dance off... Awesomeness indeed
Hey Amy Holly molly, love to watching your vlog with your bf,you guys such a made in heaven, can't wait to watching more of your vlog..you are one of a kind ✨️ ❤I'm appreciate it,what a lovely place 😊
A german and an aussie on stinky tofu and I'm chinese and never tried one. you guys are awesome and am inspiring me to try new stuff!
OMG I FEEL LIKE A PROUD MOM!!! YOU ARE SPEAKING GERMAN AND DERK’S SPEAKING CHINESE NOW!!!!!
😂😂😂😂very first one, straight to the intestines 😂😂😂😂😂
He is so excited like a child... kept repeating "chicken"
While Amy was eating the fertilized egg, Derk was looking at Amy and doubt whether she was a human or an alien from an unknown planet of some distance galaxy.
Derk still doesn’t know the secret. Our SuperAmy only has one food kryptonite…Wan Dou Huang! :D
Douzhi: EXO ME?! Hold my sprout. 🤣
I've live in China for 5 year and I still haven't tried fertilised egg, I need to try it soon 😁
我一中国人都不敢吃😂
Amy is the best. Very open minded. White exterior, yellow core food connoisseur.
I love Derk's accent
big respect on you!!! I dont even dare to try Maojidan myself. You are really try to step outside your comfort zone! And this is why I like your video!
12:39 It looks like asparagus Amy & Derk. No more challenge foods for Amy. Always stay safe, healthy, happy and success. 👍🏻🙏🏻😍
I thought it was some kind of asparagus, too
太好笑了哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈,早上看到这个视频真的会一整天都好心情
This has really become one of my favourite video because of your bf's reaction, so priceless, lol.
I swear at this point you’ve tried nearly everything, from literal vag to fertile eggs😭 - love ur content, seriously though ❤
Thanks so much!
That green part is the long beans. When it gets old, that’ll have beans in it😂
Lol your bf was on a roll in this episode. Hilarious
Good for you Amy. So respective to other cultures. Subscribed!
感觉Derk比刚来那会儿放松多了
dan, I won't even try that egg, what a brave lady Blondie has been, you do sacrifice a lot as being a food vlogger, thanks for the hard work, 😂 Derk's dance is funny, LOL
Actually, that egg is quite good.😂
The fertilised egg looks a little more appealing after it is shallow fried as opposed to just boiled.
Haha😂, your bf walked away with a surprised expression: who’s this girl, I don’t know her!😂😂
nice, love to see you and your bf, you guys are so sweet
Amy, you are the true hero😂 Respect.
Amy you going a great job promoting Chinese Foods & China great places
We Chinese are peaceful hardworking people who Believe in Family good values and financial success
God Bless both of you
Wow derk's chinese has really improved!
I always enjoy your videos. thank you! btw it's not beans, its a garlic steam
Amy you are doing a great job promoting Chinese foods & China great places
A great Thank you
Whoa! That's so cool, have fun!!
谢谢Amy!Just started following your video recently as a guide to find Chinese restaurants in Sydney. Next, Nanjing Dumpling in your video 2 years ago.
Get Derk to try the colon in brown sauce…… that’s the one that challenged me. 😂 And Blondie you are so brave to try that egg, I’m not sure I could. ❤❤❤
Even a lot of Chinese are not dare to eat this kind of egg. But I like it.
13:00 蒜苔,young garlic scapes
Watching your food adventure probably inspired me to be more adventurous in trying all the hardcore Chinese food.: and I’m Chinese lmao
You look great!! especially after the pilgram vocation
This video made me laugh so much! The part before Amy tasted the fertilised egg was one of the rare instances Amy looked genuinely worried. And Derk was so checked out, he couldn't even look at the egg. Hahahaha
Love how he chose to get beans on a stick 😂
Oh man, that's one dish where I'm iffy on. I had it once, and I think that's all I need for this life time.
The look of happines when Derk shows the "small chicken" is brilliant. 😂
in the western, there is no night market ~
我最喜欢吃的也是烤芸豆,一定要烤熟,口感很好
Derk doesn't even dare to see that egg chicken. 😂
When you are about to eat, your bf are about to jump up and leave right away😂
I wish i will try my first time for this kind of egg soon🎉
Dierk is having fun with this 😆
In this video, the boyfriend took the initiative and felt his home court.😊
I believe I just saw you in Wanchai HK on Fleming road two hours ago
Brave girl!
I am from hk, I never tried stinky tofu, either those in hk or china, let alone chicken embryo.
I love it when Derk felt like he had to beat your robot move and just dropped it
