at 18:35 you interview a girl who says shes danish but you put the dutch flag there and not the danish flag, besides that error keep it up making these awesome videos!
Good catch.
Mixed are definitely not more attractive
8:16 that's the wrong flag for Puerto Rico!! That's the Cuban flag!!
For the siblings that are half Japanese and P.R., the flag that was displayed was the wrong flag. It was the Cuban flag 🇨🇺 and not the P.R. flag 🇵🇷. Just wanted to let you know, but it was still a great video.
I was wondering about that. Thanks for clearing it up.
Love our Cuban cousins but yep, good catch.
I went into the comment section to type this exactly, good someone pointed it out
Same with the denmark one, it was showing the Netherlands flag
I jumped straight to the comments to see if anyone else caught this. I’m a Puerto Rican living in Japan raising 2 Half Japanese / Puerto Rican kids. I love my Cuban neighbors but we are not Cubans…
Absolutely amazing that they have multiple languages and cultures and can explain it in superb English.
Was wondering this. Their accents are almost *too* good. They sound American...
@@Adam-f8r4h Alot of people learn american instead of real English.
@@Adam-f8r4h because some of them lived in america, but many of them dont sound american
It's wonderful to see all of these lovely young adults thriving and at peace with their own unique selves. Another great job, Takashi!
I envy people who can fluently speak multiple languages. I really struggled with languages back in school and basically just gave up. All I speak is English. 🙁
You can do it friend. Just learn the verbal tenses, irregular verbs and some vocabulary, that together with the structure of sentences will help you a lot
Duo has been a great help for me.
Haha same I’ve also have always loved Japanese culture.
I speak turkic(uzbek) russian english, and about to learn japanese or german!!
Everyone can do it, do your best!!
Du schaffst das. 🎉
2:44 the only kid who has a Japanese dad and non-Japanese mom I've seen on this channel LOL. It's always the non-Japanese dad and Japanese mom combo
The Filipino lady at the end was born to a Japanese dad as well.
Japanese guys keep taking Ls lol
So...?
There are more international marriages with Japanese men than women. However, most of them are with neighboring countries. The exception is people who fit Japanese beauty standards in terms of personality and appearance. And there is a very long list of famous half people who have a Japanese father. TAKAHASHI Ran, SAKAI Gohtoku, and SAWAJIRI Erika to name a few.
I've noticed that too. It's almost always the mother that's Japanese, which could be saying something about Japanese men if that many Japanese women prefer interracial relationships.
I love these videos! Keep it coming! Being a mixed person myself sometimes it can be complicated to fit in.
If you don’t mind me asking what races are you mixed between because I can’t tell no offense
@@Martianig bro are u making fun of everyone why
@@Bairavaa2898 no I’m just genuinely curious
@@Martianig ok

What a cool channel. I’m totally hooked! Would be nice to see a channel just like this from every country in the world. What a way to bring us all together in the world. Keep up the great work!!!
These people have some of the most amazing blended accents. I hear major culture accentuation, music or art culture accents, minor accents, and modern American youth English accent all mixed together. If you ever watch the Technique Critique Videos on voice acting, act, or sing yourself-- you'll appreciate it more.
These are truly interesting. Thank you for sharing!
mixed ppl r so beautiful
These interviews are brilliant. It's great when people share these stories. Interesting observations are made,
I clicked because I relate,
I look japanese but I can't speak Japanese and recently just moved with my father and It's so awkward when someone talks to me and I don't understand anything
at least they accept you.. just need to learn language and you'd be fine :)
@@malcowicz true, since japan is quite a racist country so it'd be harder for others to fit in
I'm half Filipino and yeah its so awkward when they talk to you, I don't even know what to say when I dont understand, so many awkward interactions
Great video! Everyone you interviewed was very polite and gregarious with amazing personalities. I almost think that they're professional actors. They were so likable
They seem gregarious because in Japan it's more reserved, and foreigners hardly ever get a chance to express themselves.
I mean he’s obviously picking the interviewees based on looks.
Love these mixed culture interviews, so fascinating.
The half Indian and Japanese lady wearing black is drop dead gorgeous. Good God!!
Haha no
yes@@Hay8137g
@@Hay8137g She is since she kind of looks like a brown Anne Hathaway but then again beauty is subjective. You probably think Kpop girls are pretty which I find that they look like mass produced mannequins.
She looks extremely Indian - if I saw her in India I would never think she is mixed.
Her sister looks more like a North-East Indian.
@@cyrusp100 yup that girl doesnt look Japanese at all
I love these videos ❤ it's fascinating to hear how the cultures blend and differ. These people are gorgeous
Bilingual people are interesting. They have pros and cons from both sides and speak 3 languages by default. It's mixed way of thinking that could produce impressive things I guess.
I love Kemio I watch his youtube vids all the time ♥
Thanks for the video. My 2 nieces are half Japanese, half white (American). They attended international schools because it was easier to fit in.
Half Japanese, half white 😅😅😅 Japanese is a nationality, white is an arbitrary description of someone's skin colour...
@@japanese2811 Then half asian, half caucasian. 🙄
I wanted to go to an international school so badly when I was younger. Your nieces are so lucky ❤
@@kuiipoluokalani2471 they’ve done very well. They speak several languages. One is still in Japan and the other is in New Zealand.
such a beautiful country.
Awesome video. The multilingual aspect is amazing.
Wrong flag at the Danish girl
Dutch flag
Not the wrong flag, just a bit early with the right flag :D
Soooo coool!! To see this diversity in languages
"They do it to me everytime"
~Weezer
I really really REALLY wish I had the opportunity to learn Japanese when I was really young… it’s so sad that we can’t go back and change at least one thing
Broo blasians are so pretty and Irish has so satisfying voice
This was actually really interesting. The half Indian and half Japanese women were 👍 👌
GYAT DAMN that blackanese girl at 15:17 is gorgeous. . . . . 🌍+🗾= 👀😮😍
I want to hear the story about how each of their parents met and such. Interview the parents !!
❤❤❤❤
❤❤❤❤❤
These kids are fascinating to me, straddling cultures, continents, languages, and families....also, everyone now speaks perfect English, I have had contact with other cultures here and there, but in my day, the English was heavily accented, nowadays, even some of these who did not learn in the states, speak perfect English with a neutral sort of American accent..
Love the Irish accent and ur pretty
I'm from Ireland and it is really impressive she only moved here when she was 9, her accent is fully Irish. She also made some great points too :)
i think i have noticed euro/asia mix often look stunning , even when the parents are not that good looking (just my personal preference)
All beautiful and smart people !!!
holy that first girl with purple hair is insanely gorgeous
African dna 🧬

I feel like Kemio had to work through a LOT of things in terms of self-identity growing up. Like, even more than he’s mentioning in the video. Hope he’s doing OK bc he seems like a fun person! 🥳
I like the new intro
Great job. Your channel has come sooooooo far man. I love these half episodes. I think of my kids and my niece and nephews.
8:18, that's actually the flag of Cuba. Puerto Rico has the red & blue reversed.
Half Indian and Japanese girls are so beautiful
Only because these are all social clout people. He never interviews normal looking people
@@baboon_baboon_baboon can be true ,But there are many Mixed people in video which I Found not attractive Although I will not say it
You used the Cuban flag instead of the Puerto Rican flag. 🇵🇷
@takashiifromjapan you have the wrong flag for Puerto Rico. You used the cuban flag. The Puerto Rican flag has opposite colors.
I know one of the 5 poeple from Sapporo, Louis Johnson I bet he is still there I used to live there 25 years ago.. He is from Cali San Diego originally
All I'm seeing are beautiful people with great stories. Great video.
The ladies are beautiful
Haifu’s are super fineee
Not really
Its loosing the charm
I ll stick to my own people.
18:32 flag should be 🇩🇰
Shout out to the trini/japanese. Big up from another trini in Hawaii.
At 14mn the young man looks like Marcello Hernandez (half Cuban and Dominican)
Thank you for the video!
2 weeks ago I saw takashii when going to Nintendo in Shibuya. Wanted to say hi but he was interviewing someone lol
Being half Japanese and never being taught or learning Japanese on my own makes me so jealous of these people.😪
First! Also, probbaly coming to Japan in Feb - March 🇯🇵
Just reminds me of Reiko Akimoto from Kochikame
Hey Takashii, can you please do a video about the foreigners who have lived in japan for a long time and about the work they do and other things related to getting a job there, please? 🙇🏻🙇🏻 Great video as always! Thanks.
That's not a Puerto Rican flag lol that's a CUBA flag Takashi
I would love to live in Japan too ❤
A great cross section of half Japanese young adults. An excellent program. It certainly does not seem to be easy being half Japanese in Japan, especially when young.
Depends on the mix and personality. Half Black is just seen as Black.
Half Black in America is actually 100 % Black. Remember the "one drop rule". The half Japanese woman that he interviewed on another program who grew up in rural Iowa had a hard time. Many of the people that he interviewed who grew up in Japan said that they were bullied in school.
Thanks for sharing
Great video.
purple hair girl is a baddie
Really impressive that those guys are multi-lingual. I grew up and lived all my life in America and I can barely speak English good😂
ハロウィーンは日本ででかいイベントじゃない
You used the flag from Cuba with the puerto rican people 😅
Amazing!
What a coincidence that you met Mina Okabe 18:36 I enjoy listening to her music.
Japanese have a good dressing style and mental outlook❤
Mary Nihon is so very good domo aregato
Just for a little added background usually in Indian cultures dating or marrying someone who is white or is lighter than you is seen as a advancement so no one's really going to be mad if you are a half Japanese biggest Japanese are considered white Asians just like Chinese
Regarding people being more aggressive in the US: it depends on where you are. If you go to New York or Los Angelos you will find that, but if you go to the midwest or the south people are not as in-your-face. As a midwesterner, the NJ/NY culture took getting used to.
Washington is pretty chill too
Miami people are pretty in your face as well.
So true. The US is just so big so location can drastically affect many things. Different cultures in different areas of even one state, let alone the entire country.
Si je quitte un jour ce monde je veux laisser comme message le suivant : souriez autant que possible à toute les personnes que vous croiser dehors 😊❤
wtf they are all beautiful
no... they really aren't.
@@chr1ms1n55are you ok?
Yeah mixtures not good looking here, stay pure
he cherry picks them, of course they'll be
I am from Thailand. In our country, standing with your hand on your hip while interviewing the interviewee is considered very rude. Would that be okay in Japanese culture ???
You're correct. A person properly raised in Japan wouldn't normally be doing that. But these people grew up outside of Japan or attended American/International schools. They're from a small expat bubble, always surrounded by foreigners. So they don't have Japanese mindset or mannerism. In contrast, foreigners who've attended Japanese schools would have Japanese manners. What you've picked up is what every Japanese person would pick up too. It's basically a "Gaijin vibe."
Awful, that the Japanese parent (mother) could not make an impact... but now evry1 wants to live there... 🥸🥸
🌸
18:38 seems to have a wrong flag
Yes, that's the Dutch flag (Netherlands) 🇳🇱
A person who speaks two languages is bilingual, three trilingual. A person who speaks only one language is called an 😊American.
Hi Takashi! I love your videos dude, they are very interesting, but so to let you know, the Denmark flag is wrong at min 18:40 ;)
Dang !
18:45 is not the Danish flag
That was a great video.
Would that help if these guys had Japanese names?
17:19 like this guy

Excellent video bro, but the Danish-Japanese young woman at 18:40 is showing the flag of the Netherlands. If you can edit it. The Danish flag is red with a white cross on it. Super unique and interesting video as always, keep up the good work. Very interesting people.
Hello Takashi-san🙋🏻♂️. Love your videos. Btw. The Puerto Rican flag is 🇵🇷 this one. 🇨🇺this one is the Cuban flag. ありがとう!
You have the Cuban flag with the Puerto Rican peeps
Would love a longer interview with the Japanese Italian lady. her accent was quite interesting.
Hello Takashi, I guess you invers porto rico flag and cuban.
It’s such diverse half-nationalities, it’s surprising to me. (And no half-German interviewed! 😊)
My brother and his wife are about to have their first little one and refuse to leave SK. These topics interest me so much because I wonder if they are going to have issue fitting in with their culture and school systems.
I am not sure if the case in Japan help it or not. Korea is also unique country, we are close in geography but the life or personality is totally different in my opinion.
Why all half people are so beautiful wtf
Takashii! Arigatougozaimasu.
Japanese people's mastered english has been noticed by me.

Nigeria and Japanese. What a combo and a baddie.
Takashi... i M from Puerto Rico...🇵🇷... that flag you have is from Cuba 🇨🇺 (you can find im wikipedia why the flags ate so similar)
That is a Cuban flag not a Puerto Rican flag
loved the danish flag
I'm a biracial American who grew up in a rural, monoracially white area, but I can always weirdly relate to hāfu

Why did you give the Finish / Japanese girl a Dutch flag 💀
Bc she's Danish. Hahahaaa
Hi Takashii,
How can one meet mix/half people in Tokyo like you interview? Any dedicated groups/events?
