Leshan is our first stop in China and we are eating our way around based on your videos! We went to Jiu Jiu Doufunao today and will have to try the bean curd place tomorrow which is next to where we are staying. These videos have been amazing for us and our terrible lack of Mandarin, thanks 😊
My son is your fan. He told me today that you are going to Zigong, my hometown although I left it 30 years ago 😢 Zigong has the best and most spicy food in Sichuan. Looking forward to your new video of Zigong
Another lovely food adventure!! I really like the packaging on that "less fizzy Fanta" drink you tried at 12:20. It says "63" on there which sounds like Leshan in mandarin (and it's cute that all the local food specialties were put there on the logo as well). So much food I wanna try in Leshan now :) Thanks for bringing us along Amy!
Another 10 out 10 video ❤❤❤Thank you so much for producing so many fun high quality videos😊😊😊I will definitely visit LESHAN and try all of the food you’ve eaten there when I get back to China😍😍😍
Hey Amy! Would also love to see videos related to traveling in China for foreigners! Maybe like some cool travel guides or how you typically plan your trips? Love your videos. Keep it up!
Hey Amy! It’s amazing see you checking out the snacks from my hometown Leshan ❤ and YES that lychee flavored soda drink is super super famous and 老炮儿 in Leshan !
Even these are street food or some consider snacks it is much much healthier than any packaged food. Asian cuisine are so delicious with so many variations.
The little pancake things remind me of the pancake parlour where you can get either hot food or sweet food The skewers are starting to become popular in Melbourne Australia…it’s currently my obsession lol
I just love it when you ask ANY vendor in any city in China (except maybe Guangdong prov.) what dishes they recommend, WITHOUT FAIL, they will respond with "看你喜欢什么口味了?“ *facepalm* yea thanks, that's really helpful...
All of the street food in Leshan are taste like heaven. Snacks, desserts and main courses, you have recommended every kind of Chinese delicacies, Miss Amy.
We always see your videos the day they post but sometimes we get busy and miss them, but when that happens we can tell if we watched it or not because the first thing we do when we watch your videos is obviously hit the Like button, so if we miss a video it’s obvious! Just enjoying this one now a few days later :)
Those Leshan food looks so good !!! I wonder if any of those attending the World University Games in Chengdu have watch this video. If yes, I am sure some will come down after they have done with their events. Leshan is about 120km away from Chengdu.
Amy have you tried 凉糕? It's like 冰粉 but made with rice instead so it has a creamy opaque color, bouncy like 冰粉 but with a much more pronounced fragrance from the grains. It's usually less fancy with toppings, perfect with just thick brown sugar syrup. Pretty sure you can find it anywhere in Sichuan.
@10:11 Individual corn kernels scewered on a stick . Talk about labor intensive ! @10:11 Also, thanks to Amy , just picked up a pro-cooking tip - to cut the meat in small portions and pound it out to absorb all the aromatic seasonings .
Just discovered your channel last week and subscribed immediately. Love these China vids and what's this with you Aussie girls? They always have this 'Bubbly' personality :) Greetz from the Netherlands!
As usual, your video made me mouth-watering (and so badly wanna have a holiday again even if I just came back)!🤩 Love your serious face when you eagerly taste all sorts of "unusual" foods. Love how you passionately promote various Chinese cities. THANK YOU, Amy!!!😘 Now... go back to editing your next video and get it out by Monday, Girl!😜
Always so yummy! Suggest you leave the address n contact for the restaurants where you had good food. It could make your fans easier to look for them n also promote the local food industry.
Leshan is my hometown. I super love bean curd with turnip shreds. I'm happy to see you enjoyed it, and I couldn't help salivating because I am stay in Auckland right now.😂
Hahahah worth noting that I don't eat like this every day! I maintain a healthy diet on the days I don't film (which are the majority of the days) and exercise (especially walk) regularly!
top tips: Go to Nanshan Bamboo Sea in Zhejiang and Jiangsu for vacation. The climate there is much better. There are bamboo forests to escape the summer heat. There are also giant pandas, ancient towns, Hanfu activities, bamboo forest cable cars, and bamboo forest food. You can experience it. A very luxurious experience, the bamboo sea is only available in China,It can be called China's Little Switzerland. SHU NAN bamboo sea in Sichuan, XI CHUAN bamboo sea can also go on vacation
With every new video from Blondie, I keep having to update my list of places to visit and foods to try in a future trip to China! Everything looked so good--even the chicken feet 😊
I’m in a Cantonese restaurant in Calgary Canada right now and there’s a Chinese couple watching one of your videos on their iPad while they have breakfast!!!
was just in chengdu and chongqing and thinking of you! also thinking how hard it is must be doing this in the current heat. I can't be outside for more than 30 minutes.
Halal restaurants generally sell beef Lamian Noodles, Mutton shashlik, Gaifan, and perhaps some halal restaurants also sell some marinated beef, smoked fish, beef Potsticker
I know you cannot handle spiciness like Raina Huang so best of luck on next week's Sichuan food adventures. Hope to see Peter again in a future episode.
Even as a chef, I have never agreed with the Michelin guide of expensive pretentious food. This is the kind of food that amazes me
Exactly! Delicious food doesn't need to be expensive!

isn't Michelin auto-tyre company? and they rate food? and people do not find it odd?

Okkk Amy. I must visit Leshan now!😂This looks so so good and am so intrigued to try the combination of different flavours and textures!
Wonderful introduction about Leshan food, the way you describe food always amazes me.
Thank you, that's so cool! Have fun!

Loved Leshan, visited in 2017 when I went to visit the giant Buddha 💕💕

Just have to say how much I really enjoy your food vids! Love them!!!
really love watching your videos!
My coworker (who is Chinese) recommended me your channel.
Leshan's snacks are really at the top in Sichuan; very expect to your Zigong journey, a saying goes: 食在四川,味在自贡。Wish you enjoy it!
Mmmm all that yummy goodness! I've Totally enjoyed your Leshan Adventures & Can't wait to see what you've got lined up next. ❤
i went to le shan several times when i was studying in Chengdu, just for the food. and yes, e mei xue is the famous local drink!

not as intensive as you thought, they put skewer into corn first then separate kernel from cob, so its quick.
