Leshan is our first stop in China and we are eating our way around based on your videos! We went to Jiu Jiu Doufunao today and will have to try the bean curd place tomorrow which is next to where we are staying. These videos have been amazing for us and our terrible lack of Mandarin, thanks 😊
Another lovely food adventure!! I really like the packaging on that "less fizzy Fanta" drink you tried at 12:20. It says "63" on there which sounds like Leshan in mandarin (and it's cute that all the local food specialties were put there on the logo as well). 63 and leshan are pronounced identically in cantonese, just with different tones-- lok saan!

Even these are street food or some consider snacks it is much much healthier than any packaged food. Asian cuisine are so delicious with so many variations.

Leshan's snacks are really at the top in Sichuan; very expect to your Zigong journey, a saying goes: 食在四川，味在自贡。Wish you enjoy it!
自贡需要在四川吃一段时间再去体验，不然盐度和辣度很容易劝退外地人的，因为要在极辣的菜品中去品味自贡厨师手艺上的鲜活，调味的精湛，没有基础的吃辣水准是办不到的。乐山的甜辣确实是对外国人最友好的

i went to le shan several times when i was studying in Chengdu, just for the food. and yes, e mei xue is the famous local drink!

刚去了乐山。周末很多成都重庆人去大吃。有49.9元随便吃的鱼庄，江团（肥坨）、鲟鱼等在青衣江边随便大吃到撑肚子，在梅花丽都旁边。每个人都说应该再另外带个肚子去吃，嘴巴还在吃，一个肚子已经装不下了。甜皮鸭、卤鸭子、钵钵鸡还有好多，都是乐山原创吃了几十年的。上河帮，下河帮，川菜真是好吃的很多。还有荔枝湾的荔枝，真是热带温带亚热带，什么树都长。

Those Leshan food looks so good !!! I wonder if any of those attending the World University Games in Chengdu have watch this video. If yes, I am sure some will come down after they have done with their events. Leshan is about 120km away from Chengdu.

Amy have you tried 凉糕？ It's like 冰粉 but made with rice instead so it has a creamy opaque color, bouncy like 冰粉 but with a much more pronounced fragrance from the grains. It's usually less fancy with toppings, perfect with just thick brown sugar syrup. Pretty sure you can find it anywhere in Sichuan.
wait for a few videos, you'll see me enjoy the most authentic 凉糕 you can get!!!!

Leshan is my hometown. I super love bean curd with turnip shreds. I'm happy to see you enjoyed it, and I couldn't help salivating because I am stay in Auckland right now.😂

Hahahah worth noting that I don't eat like this every day! I maintain a healthy diet on the days I don't film (which are the majority of the days) and exercise (especially walk) regularly!
峨眉雪在90年代就有了，当时还是绿瓶，相当好喝，应该是成都和乐山附近的特色饮料吧，反正在川南见不到，艾米下个视频应该到自贡尝兔肉了吧？😋

you should visit Raoping! 饶平黄冈. It's also part of 潮州 but it's more local with specialties! 肖米，肠粉，薄饼，虾饼，猪肠胀糯米，无米果 and much more specialties!

I was holidaying in Spain and was taken by surprise when I saw chicken feet being offered for sale in the supermarket.
top tips: Go to Nanshan Bamboo Sea in Zhejiang and Jiangsu for vacation. The climate there is much better. There are bamboo forests to escape the summer heat. There are also giant pandas, ancient towns, Hanfu activities, bamboo forest cable cars, and bamboo forest food. You can experience it.
A very luxurious experience, the bamboo sea is only available in China，It can be called China's Little Switzerland.

not as intensive as you thought, they put skewer into corn first then separate kernel from cob, so its quick.
Do they have those pancakes with sweet red bean 🫘 paste ? Those are the best if accompanied by vanilla ice cream 🍨 🍦😋

百香果味一般都是酸甜味为主的，一般都是百香果+蜂蜜的调味，有可能会放一点点辣椒
Correct me if I’m wrong, I thought LeShan would be pronounced similar to the number 6 3 in Sichuan dialect, and probably that’s why the drinks bottle Amy you showed in the video is mentioned one of the drinks of local specialties? 😂 overall, really enjoyed your video and so mind blown with so many delicacies in Le Shan. Definitely wanna try all of them when I travel to China. Well done
