Thanks for commenting about this, it sucks to see folks working with BH while (probably) not knowing about all their issues & just trying to provide a supportive resource to their audience, basically being taken advantage of for their compassion :/// I hope she sees this!
Yeah, I’m always disappointed when I see RUclipsrs I like accept their sponsorships! I thought after all this time BH being shady and unhelpful was quite well known
Hey Micarah! I don’t usually comment, but I wanted to say you inspire me so much, and got me into sewing about 5 years ago! I just finished my dress for (homeschool) senior prom, and am so excited to wear it (It’s a dark blue gown with tons of stars and constellations painted on the underskirt, with a glittery, see-thru organza covering them)! It literally would not have been possible without your AWESOME SELF inspiring me! Thank you for all you do! Love you! ❤️❤️❤️
Proof that the secret for pulling off these outfits is just being gorgeous. If i got myself inside a glorified tube dress with a lil thingy on the shoulder i would look like a larva starting her cocoon, meanwhile on her it looks like the most glamorous gown
@@chrishubbard5073 I'm the same. That's why all my dresses are fitted at the waist only, and flare from there, so I don't have the "over stuffed sausage" thing that happens when I wear fitted dresses (much to my mum's dismay, who says I'd be beautiful in those dresses, the sweet sweet but definitely biased woman)! I guess it is mostly about genes but whenever I gain weight I turn back to 90% home-cooked meals and don't eat after 8:30, works for me (plus more walking)
You look fab in every outfit. So inspired to make this whole collection for my adorable 17 year old granddaughter and maybe even a dress or two for myself.
I watch your videos to give my brain a boost before filming or voiceovers, I'm not normally a chatty person anymore, but your videos just infuse me with the bug. I also like to see someone showing others how easy to make high end pieces are, and how affordable sewing can be. Bravo! 👏
I had a lof of smart comments about Kylie's plagiarism, how good all the outfits turned out, but then. Your dad showed up. And i swear this man is aging backwards. Also he did an amazing job
You pointing out your stomach not always being that flat actually stopped me from mentally scrutinizing my body 😭 You obviously still look killer in the dresses🔥 but I appreciated the little reminder too ❤️
Right? That was so kind of her. She’s been a person in my mind for years and years now with a perfect body, so her showing her belly full was like, well, shit, thats exactly what my belly looks like…my belly that I hate! It was a nice perspective
I’ll never understand how the kardashians make the plainest, most expensive, basic clothes and products and people go wild for them. If anything Micarah just showed us that a beginner sewer can make a super classy black dress identical to Kylie’s for less money, and probably the same or more quality fabric. Also super hilarious that it’s plagiarized too - shame on them.
I don’t understand how or why they are popular at all. Everything about them is fake! I guess all it takes to be popular and successful is to take the simplest things make fake shows about your fake self and them and boom you’ve got money, power and popularity!
Right? Everyone was obsessed with the Skims maxi dress a while back and it was like... this is just a very long regular cotton tank top, guys... you can find this at like Gap or something
@@candace200like that’s really the only item from the collection I liked, other than the dress her dad made, and it would look so much better in those materials
I get serious body issue flareups watching stuff online sometimes, so you mentioning your stomach and how you would normally look in it really helped to not psyche me out, even if we do look different.
This was the funnest video I watched all day. I love you knocked the styles out of the park. I also liked that you credited the person who originally came up with the designs.
Micarah you are so loved online (which I know it's not real life) you are an inspiration, not just for the sewing but as a person and it's clear to see you're loved very much by your friends and family too, remember that when you have low mood days. You're awesome. 🙂💛
Just found you and you are such a breath of fresh air. Not to mention amazing sewer. Those clothes look so nice on you and I do agree that the long black dress looks awesome on you. I also sew and spend waaaay too much time watching other sewers. Keep it going. Love your sense of humor. I'm a new fan! Looking forward to your other videos.
I HAVE ALWAYS WONDERED IF LANDON WAS YOUR BROTHER. I have been such a big fan of both of you for years, it’s so exciting to confirm the connection. What a talented family!
Dad is so lovely for always being game for Micarah's ridiculous hijinks. Also you know he has mad hand/eye coordination and geometry skills from his carpentry experience.
I watch most videos on 1.25x speed because people just talk too slowly for me to stay engaged. I always go to check the speed when I open Micarah's videos because it sounds a little too fast and am shocked to see that it's just normal speed. I'm here for it queen. Straight to the point, no lollygagging!
I'm so appreciative of the honesty with the clothes in the morning and in the evening. So many people think of weight/body type as a stagnant (that also reflects worth) and not a dynamic system with cycles. It's very good to normalize the shifts to try to combat the image overload of "perfect" bodies (like, most people would describe me as skinny, but I've still been hurt by comments on my body and by clothing being made for imaginary people who apparently have nonexistent hips)
I sew and - like this young lady - can make anything I see on the runway. So I will never *overpay* for any design I want for myself. I'm so impressed with you *Micarah Tewers!!*

A few years ago (for context I am a teen) I was told that I looked like I was pregnant because my arms and legs were skinny but my tummy jutted out. I would do ab workouts and only eat greens anything to get my stomach to look flat. I I was reading a book about periods and stuff and it said that women have more organs than men and that it why my stomach does that. People in videos just suck it in to look like they are flat. I tried it and the book was right I looked so flat when I suck in and then when I relaxed I was back to looking “ pregnant”. What I am trying to say is that it is ok to have your stomach jut out because no one eccept those who are insecure about it themselves will notice and those people shouldn’t matter. God made you who you are and you should be proud and not care that your stomach is normal. Also I love your videos Macheria God bless you and have a good day!

Loved getting her dad to do it to show that sewing really is that straight forward to try. Also addresses criticisms I've seen before when she says something is easy like "sure, easy for you." Super cute vid ❤
I love how Micarah is so goofy while making these but then she SLAYS the reveal
Your father was a natural seamstress! That last dress is 100/10)
That sponsor steals your data and isn't very good in general. Just a heads up. Don't trust em.
Thank you for this comment! I wish more people in videos that have shady sponsors informed the rest of us about it :)
Thank you! I was looking for this comment, more people need to be aware of Better Help's shadiness.
Thanks for commenting about this, it sucks to see folks working with BH while (probably) not knowing about all their issues & just trying to provide a supportive resource to their audience, basically being taken advantage of for their compassion :/// I hope she sees this!
@@rowan.27 Yeah, I cringed, when I saw the video, because with Micarah I'm sure she means well and genuinely doesn't know.
Yeah, I’m always disappointed when I see RUclipsrs I like accept their sponsorships! I thought after all this time BH being shady and unhelpful was quite well known
I’m loving the background - it’s giving vintage-bdsm-gym chic. Not many can pull it off.
for a hot second i was absolutely convinced that you would model that final dress on your dad 🤣🤣🤣
Love you! ❤️❤️❤️
omg girl that sounds GORGEOUS😍
Proof that the secret for pulling off these outfits is just being gorgeous. If i got myself inside a glorified tube dress with a lil thingy on the shoulder i would look like a larva starting her cocoon, meanwhile on her it looks like the most glamorous gown
Yes, all of these pieces are for thin ppl. Know your body type before buying any outfit. Over Stuffed sausage comes to mind when I think me in them.
Same 😂
@@chrishubbard5073 I'm the same. XD
I guess it is mostly about genes but whenever I gain weight I turn back to 90% home-cooked meals and don't eat after 8:30, works for me (plus more walking)
What a beautiful image
You look fab in every outfit. So inspired to make this whole collection for my adorable 17 year old granddaughter and maybe even a dress or two for myself.
This is my favorite creator on the entire platform. Always brightens my day whenever I have the pleasure of seeing a new video on her channel
I watch your videos to give my brain a boost before filming or voiceovers, I'm not normally a chatty person anymore, but your videos just infuse me with the bug. I also like to see someone showing others how easy to make high end pieces are, and how affordable sewing can be. Bravo! 👏
your comment made my clutch my face and make this 🥺 face. thank you so much, you are very kind.
@MicarahTewers Your videos really do help get me in the zone, I had brain surgery so not quite as fast or quick witted. Thank you for your videos. 🫶
I had a lof of smart comments about Kylie's plagiarism, how good all the outfits turned out, but then. Your dad showed up. And i swear this man is aging backwards. Also he did an amazing job
Micarah posting a video means good vibes for the whole day🫶🏻
girl this is the first video ive seen from you and i feel the need to mention how NICE your house is lol
Check out her November '23 video for the backstory on the house. ❤
And welcome to Micarah's world. 😉
The section with you and the dog constantly moving to adjust in your lap/at your knees killed me with cuteness, I cannot recover.
You pointing out your stomach not always being that flat actually stopped me from mentally scrutinizing my body 😭
You obviously still look killer in the dresses🔥 but I appreciated the little reminder too ❤️
Yeah, some of these clothes would look more elevated in a better fabric. I'd love the handkerchief skirt in a satin or chiffon.
@@candace200like that’s really the only item from the collection I liked, other than the dress her dad made, and it would look so much better in those materials
even though everything looks the same and is cheaper people would buy the Kardashion version because its from the Kardashions XD brainwashing is real!
Father Tewers did such an amazing job!! 👏🏻 He should be a featured seamstress (seamster??) in more videos

My heart is so happy with the dress Mr. Tewers made and the smile on Micarah's face when she's showing it off. "Look at the dress my dad made" :')
Love this. Inspires me to just sit down and have fun with some fabric and see what happens
I get serious body issue flareups watching stuff online sometimes, so you mentioning your stomach and how you would normally look in it really helped to not psyche me out, even if we do look different.
Micarah you are so kind and considerate for mentioning when the photos were taken and then adding "after eating" photos as well
Her dad’s dress was AMAZING!!!
This was the funnest video I watched all day. I love you knocked the styles out of the park. I also liked that you credited the person who originally came up with the designs.
Amazing! Loved it when your dad just went along and made a dress as well, so adorable.
KHY don’t you? Has absolutely sent me 😂 this gonna be brilliant
OK GOOD BC I WAS AFRAID THAT ONE DIDN'T MAKE SENSE

Anyone else get SO excited every time micarah posts a new video?!?!
I do I have watched almost every single video. She has at least two times. I always get really excited when there is a new video!
my mom; I think it's what she lives for 💕
I get frightened
I love love love that your dad tried out sewing and learned from you 😍 all of your makes turned out beautifully
Looking forward to your other videos.
i thought khy was an acronym for something and was so confused i had to look it up

She's literally so precious it makes my chest physically hurt
@@MicarahTewers Same. Ever since the day you discovered she was naked.
I HAVE ALWAYS WONDERED IF LANDON WAS YOUR BROTHER. I have been such a big fan of both of you for years, it’s so exciting to confirm the connection. What a talented family!
Micarah… that disclaimer at the end hit me at exactly the right time, and helped me so much. Thank you ❤
Dad is so lovely for always being game for Micarah's ridiculous hijinks.
It's very good to normalize the shifts to try to combat the image overload of "perfect" bodies
(like, most people would describe me as skinny, but I've still been hurt by comments on my body and by clothing being made for imaginary people who apparently have nonexistent hips)
I sew and - like this young lady - can make anything I see on the runway. So I will never *overpay* for any design I want for myself. I'm so impressed with you *Micarah Tewers!!*
Omg thank you for that note re:your stomach and including the shot of you wearing the dress later on.itbwas so helpful for me!
Dad Tewers first project!!! So so sweet he did a great job
Your relationship with your father is so sweet and wholesome ❤ wish you all the best this year 😊

Loved this video. The shade, the tea, the dog, the bird, the haircut 😙🤌
Fun fact: there actually is a "bad advice show" podcast called My Brother, My Brother, and Me that's been running since like 2011!
whaaaat??? bruh I'm bouta look this up
@@MicarahTewersall of the audio content from the mcelroy family is great definitely something in there you’ll enjoy :))
I would also highly recommend the Dear Hank and John podcast, another brother based podcast from John Green and Hank Green, who are both very popular on TikTok but also New York times best-selling authors. They have some pretty solid advice despite being dubbed as a "dubious advice" podcast
@@MicarahTewers If you do decide to listen to My Brother My Brother and Me, start at any episode after the first couple hundred. The brothers have said their early years aren't great and don't recommend them for new listeners. You can also find so many animatics of clips from the show here on YT if you just want to dip your toes in!
Knowing that micarah is maybe listening to mbmbam rn is so silly to me
A few years ago (for context I am a teen) I was told that I looked like I was pregnant because my arms and legs were skinny but my tummy jutted out.
"mine aren't quite as good" the collection isn't good to start with so you don't need to worry. you're inspiring me so much to start making my own clothes!!!!
I’d buying literally anything from Micarah because you know it was made with love!
I’m convinced the only people buying “Kylie’s” line are her friends that feel bad and influencers who want to try them and tell us how subpar it is.
I'm a beginner sewer and I'm excited!!! I want to buy less and make more so these are perfect. Thank you Micarah :) beautifully done
thank you! I'm excited for your journey :)
The white dress would make a lovely and sophisticated wedding dress.
ICONIC KWEEN! great vid 😂 the shadeeeee was everything, and as ever your (shared) Dad is adorable! So proud of his first dress
You have no idea how much I perfectly needed this video to procrastinate. TO THE SEWING ROOM!!
You’re adorable ❤. You’re a great example for your generation to not let the computers and technology take over your lives. It’s so much better in real life like for real going outside and and having fun skills like sewing and knitting and stuff like that that you can do to be creative and have an outlet. It’s a perfect hobby and I think you’re amazing.
