Fr, ty! I'm goth and have been for a long time, but I've always had this urge to dress similar to the way you do (idk what the style is called 😭) every once on a while to switch things up. And you've really inspired me to finally do it and add some more of these kinda pieces and outfits to my wardrobe and life!! I swear i would've never done it w out you cause i didn't know how to style colored pieces right, without looking like i chose the randomized option for my outfit 💀 since i never really had a chance to before going goth 😭 but ramble aside, my point you truly helped me sm!! @@lilrotini
i’ve always been really into styling my outfits, but you really helped me evolve my sense of style; especially with layering. it definitely helps my self esteem, i mega appreciate your creativity:,)
Oh wow this girl is a genius, also let's appreciate how she's able to pull every one of these outfits so effortlessly because I can't imagine trying to do all of this without it turning into that episode in Waikiki 1 and looking homeless
I cannot stress how much I love your style. It’s really inspired me to get creative with my fashion and use things that aren’t typically styled a certain way (eg: scarf used as skirt).
I'm purely convinced that i could dress better if i had the money to. Ik there's cheap stores and all to buy beautiful clothes but in my country, there's literally none 😭 Shein and other e-commerce brand doesn't deliver to my country so i have to ask a relative to buy it in another country then send it to me so like for 1 shirt they bought for 10$, i gotta pay 50$ for the shipping like?! I'm still trying to upgrade my fashion sense with vids like that and it always helps me to like re-use clothes with differents outfits ideas and with ur vid they've literally never been so good like woww!!
if i were you in this case i'd get into sewing and altering your existing clothes if you have trouble adding onto your existing wardrobe. also just ask friends/relatives if you can get their old clothes and upcycle those, or simply borrow them as it is. and as the other person said, thrift stores / garage sales/ flea markets are always a good option as well
skirt under body con dresses is GENIUS!!!!! 1. for us thinner/curvy girlies with weird size discrepancies, and 2. us more modest girls who love the look but don't want our entire body all on display
Thank you for laying tips that aren’t just “oh wear a jacket over a tshirt” I live in Aus where it’s just too hot to wear jackets. This is so helpful and inspiring 😊
I've literally never been as inspired by someone online as I am by you. And the brief history of layering at the beginning of the video is a nice touch that I love. I'm 24, and I've always stuck to plain crop tops and wide jeans because I never knew how to style myself. Your content is encouraging me to experiment with my wardrobe and become more creative with my outfits. Thank you for the inspiration! I'm looking forward to the next video ❤️❤️ Edit : Thank you for sharing your Pinterest account with us 💕
You hands down just changed my life. I'm going into London tomorrow to Harrods and a nice restaurant and had nothing to wear, but because of this video I folded a maxi skirt and pulled it up as if it was a dress so I looked like a mini skirt. And this worked perfectly. You played.
one of my absolute favorite layering tips especially in the winter is wearing two or three maybe even four maxi skirts at a time. i am a huge fan of maxi skirts and in the winter, wearing only one can get extremely cold so i’ll layer a few of them!! for example i usually start with a ruffley maxi/midi skirt to give the other ones some volume, then i’ll add a basic black maxi THEN a tiered textured maxi!! and maybe a shorter skirt on top to give a little extra pizazz to it!! it genuinely looks nice w any tops too! i also try to lean more towards natural fibers (wool, cotton, leather, etc) rather than synthetic because of how breathable they are and i’ve found synthetic fibers will be extremely cold in the winter but extremely warm in the summer?? and natural fibers genuinely keep you warm!
your ideas have elevated my style so much. i've gotten so much more creative with outfits and dressing up is so insanely fun now, even more than it was. i've always loved clothes and fashion all my life but i kept wondering what was missing and i figured it out through your videos. thanks so much, seriously !! also for a video idea, i'm in new york and it gets superrrr chilly this time of year (and though i know layering ideas can overlap a lot with staying warm) i'd love a "winter outfits" video from you!
There are so many things that I like visually, but just don't have the "fashion vision" to create the looks myself. You just opened my eyes and made my fashionista side bloom a little more, lol! Thank you! Hugs from Brazil
you’re sense of layering is on the next level like everytime i see your outfits you layer 2 things that i would never thought would go good with e/o and you make them look so good everytime
Your videos have definitely made me more confident to wear my own personal style. It’s the first time i’ve seen someone dress the way i always wanted to in public but never did because i don’t see people dressing like it. After watching these, it gave me confidence to dress like it anywhere. Uni, the shops, going out. Anywhere. Thank you!
I wish you all the best in College since you said your going back, always push your education as far up as possible, I have a son who just started UCLA, he's a tech/comp guy, would say the same for anyone else, keep pushing and add your niche with a well balanced degree, good luck 👍
YESSS THE FASHION GODDESS HAS SMILED UPON US! she’s finally answered my prayers 🥹🫶 Also every part of the vid in itself is so cool and perfect. Appreciate the layering history and how much helpful info she got in with such little time. I remember the fit from 2:05 and I will never not be happy to see it like her outfits actually bring me so much joy
I was lucky to have a job during college where I had a lot of freedom and encouragement to dress playfully, which started my layering journey! I feel so cool and put-together when I find new creative ways to wear my clothes. This video is so inspiring - love your style!!
I love the way you think about fashion. I am so analytical about my own fashion, hearing other people talk this way about it is like a breath of fresh air
thank you for sharing such amazing tips!! I have been hesitant about making my outfits ‘too much’ recently but you’ve inspired me to embrace my eclectic style again :)
Queen of layering!!❤ I am impressed, inspired & so incredibly greatful to have you educate on this topic! I’ve lived in south Fl my entire life & the weather has been BEYOND cold for longer than I can ever remember & I am FREEZING 🥶🫣& I’ve been trying to find exact layering tips that makes sense but also realized I’ve had not much background in layering at all. This is so cool! Couldn’t have been better timing thank you!!☺️🖤🖤
I love this video. I honestly feel like every outfit looks instantly better with a vestover / vest / shirt. Trying to think in at least 3 layers helps me a lot to style better outfits
Perfect timing bc I've been trying to up my layering game. Had a eureka moment last week when I figured out how to style an awkward length office skirt I thrifted, I've thought of like 6 different outfits with various cardigans, button up shirts, vests, tights, legwarmers... now I just need to find occasions to wear them 😅
I wish I saw clothing the same way as you. I feel like I see each piece and think that it's boring or impossible to wear. But somehow you create artistic masterpieces. Wish there was a world in which you could style me lmao. I love all of your content
The creativity of your layering choices is so much more than any other layering video. Usually I don't like some layering combinations that creators put together, but yours all flow so wonderfully together. Thank you for the wonderful visuals. I would even love another using the same concepts / tips with different clothing pieces. Basically I mean more examples of the same layering tip. A Or a series of each pieces "layering skirts" or "layering jackets" or "layering sweaters". They might over lap, but I think that's completely fine since the highlighted piece is different. The voice over and explanation is really nice. I prefer explanation of intention over a fast forwarded try on montage with music. And I LOVED the tiny history but at the beginning.
im unfashionable and had always tend to stay on the safer more boring side of clothing because fashion like these just seemed daunting and overwhelming to me, but i'm slowly trying to come out of this shell and be more confident in dressing up
please make a pt. 2 of outfit combinations 😭 your style is literally awesome and it has helped me a lot when I have to choose an outfit and I don't want it to be boring 💗💗
I have always been obsessed with how you layer your pieces, and I recently got a short denim skirt and was wondering how I could layer it, but now I know because of this video! Tysm ❤
Oh my lord. I LOVE THIS VIDEO SO MUCH, I WAS NOT EXPECTING TO WATCH THE WHOLE THING I clicked on it planning to skip through it because I was bored, but I found myself really taking in all the information and watching it from start to finish. This is so informative and helpful, tysm!!!!!!!!!
Love this!! I'm dying over all your outfits, sometimes I layer in interesting ways, but then I chicken out and feel self conscious, but you just inspired me to incorporate it more!!
Your videos are so exemplary of the power of styling for me. Like your outfits go above and beyond other videos to me because I often see people just tucking in their shirt and adding accessories to show the difference between styling and wearing. But you really MAKE the outfits with interesting layering and it just opens my eyes to the real power of styling to create a fun and stylish outfit.
Came here for tips on fashion and was surprised I am soo amazed and happy that you did research and I could learn about the context and history of layering and not just how to do it, thank you!! ❤
Very very cool video It's actually extremely inspiring I might modify this to accommodate the fact that i hate the sensation of layering sometimes. Some clothes or multiple fabrics feel so wrong on my body that i need to rip everything off, but it's really cool how creative you are with your outfits
YES I agree sm with the body con dresses I had no idea what to do with em cuz I thought they just looks boring and plain alone. I have this grey tank top body con dress with lace trim and the skirt and dress layering idea is so cute!!! I’ll def try on some different skirts to try to style this dress
i go tshirt over tshirt over pants for extra ~fashion~
