I was on Abilify for years and it was horrible. Weight gain, overspending to the point of bankruptcy and being addicted to buying stuff on eBay. Thank God I got off of it. I didn't realize I was that bad until I got off of it. I initially went off of it because of the weight gain. I ballooned up, gaining 70lbs and ended up weighing 200lbs. I had never been so fat in all my life. I told my doctor about it and all he said was that I needed to exercise more, which I did. But that still didn't help. I told my mom about it and she said she definitely thought it was the antidepressant I was on. So I began tapering myself off of it. I began by taking half of a pill and then a quarter and then completely stopped. Afterwards, I found I was eating smaller meals like I did when I was skinny. Then I noticed other bad behaviors went away. I no longer spent tons of money on a bunch of stuff that I actually never needed in the first place. And I quit being addicted to buying stuff on eBay. Plus, I truly began to come back to reality. When you are on Abilify, you become numb, lack apathy, you don't feel like you are living in the real world. Listen I'm not going to go into all the bad stuff I did on Abilify, but let's just say, it was really bad. I even lost friends and family because of all the crap I did on that drug. Suffice to say, it was not worth taking. When I looked more closely into the side effects, I had them all. And I looked up court cases. Come to find out, Abilify had 2100 cases against it for gambling and overspending money. It also said it caused over eating, and hypersexuality. In addition, I found out that the pharmaceutical company that makes Abilify (and a lot of other antidepressants), actually gives money incentives, free trips to exotic locations, even free meals at top restaurants to doctors who prescribe these medications. If you don't believe me than just research it yourself. All the facts are on reputable websites, articles in magazines and so forth. So, yes, in fact, I do believe this woman. Perhaps before making insults to people who say "a pill made me do this', you should look into the information on Abilify and find out for yourself instead of trying to belittle people who know this drug is dangerous. Also, my quack doctor told me that 'all medications for depression work the same' and that the 'side effects are rare, so don't worry about it.' Both of those statements are wrong. Sure, you'll see some people say it worked great for them. But you must remember that not all antidepressants work alike for every individual. We are all different and sometimes, these meds interfere with the normal life you used to have. Many of my friends and family were shocked at all the crap I was doing. They kept telling me to please go back to the nice, honest and good person you used to be. But I didn't know what was wrong with me for quite some time. It was awful and I wouldn't wish it off on my worst enemy. Oh, and yes, I do take all responsibility for everything I did wrong. Because, after all, it was me who took the pills and I should have looked into it myself instead. Looking back at my depression, I realize that I was not so depressed in the first place. I just was going through a minor bad slope. I wish I hadn't listened to the doctor who told me it would help me. From now on, if I take any pill, be it a heart medication or any other drug they try to put me on, I will definitely be looking into any and all side effects. Plus, yes, I'll even look up any possible court cases to see if anyone else is having any problems with any/all medications. You just never know sometimes what a doctor is really prescribing a pill for. So buyer definitely beware.😳
The only reason she stopped gambling is because the shit hit the fan. And it coincided with trying to find excuses. Which she blamed her medication. The husband is a tool for taking her back
Compulsive gamblers are liars and will say anything to justify their addiction or blame someone else. Until this lady admits she messed up and stops blaming her medication she will never be truly healed.

And I know a lot. Sorry lady but this is hogwash. You messed up now you have to face the consequences. I have been on prescription drugs my whole life and ability being one of them. But it does. Look up Abilify and see how many people are sueing the company. Last time I checked, there were 2100 legal cases against it because of this.
So buyer definitely beware.😳
now its right in your pocket
I was a professional drinker, it was all of MY falt. Can't blame anyone else!
The only reason she stopped gambling is because the shit hit the fan. And it coincided with trying to find excuses. Which she blamed her medication. The husband is a tool for taking her back
No i also had the same problem and was on Aripiprazole. Never gambled before and became obsessed with online slot machines.
When i smoke meth. Ohhhhh shut i gamble like there is no tomorrow
Compulsive gamblers are liars and will say anything to justify their addiction or blame someone else. Until this lady admits she messed up and stops blaming her medication she will never be truly healed.
People are so sue happy. I hope they lose. Crazy people. Fess up to your gambling addiction. You did it to yourself.
Glad her husband did something...
fino frnco>? eveer seen someone in a meth rage>? yes one should know better than to take drugs i was illegally court ordered to take this
Ah ah ah ah ah just lost 300 and going crazy 🤪 🤪
So a regular person who suffers from depression and addiction gets s**ted on and yet we still praise celebrities like Chester Bennington for opening up about their struggles?!
I lost $50k Sorry Mom And Sister
NO
alcohol does the same thing
@@rbnzo25 your so wrong you dont even no it
@@rbnzo25 statistics do not lie, people who have drunk alcohol take greater risks
@@rbnzo25 I don't know your situation but I stopped drinking because it made me do wrong things like gambling, now that I no longer drink I no longer feel like putting myself in those situations
So wrong
Fuck yeah it can. Happening to me right now.
CPA smh
It is mental illness
It's always accountants and bookkeepers who end up defrauding their workplaces gambling. That end up in the news.
She likes to donate to the Indians.
Me too - some of my best friends.
sure it's the medicine's fault for her OWN ACTIONS
You’re a dummy, go read up on the drug before you assume
yeah this is crap...she's trying hit the lawsuit jackpot. I've been around gamblers my whole life...
Ask her if she's filed a lawsuit. I will BET YOU $100 she has. LOL
@@rbnzo25 ...lol!
She did - did you not watch the video?
She was miserable in her marriage & didn't want to be a mom. But she was trapped. Gambling was the only thing that gave her happiness. Now she is back to faking her happiness again.
Oh please blame the meds not yourself
I suggest you read up on Abilify before saying things like that. Abilify causes gambling, overspending, over eating and hypersexuality. Not everyone has all 4. But most have at least 2. Last time I looked, Abilify had 2100 legal cases against it.
Okay
i hope she won anyways,
Garbage pharmacy business.
Found something to blame her behavior on. They always "appear "to have the perfect life. No one has.
The company who made Abilify is in kahoots with the casinos. Lol Give me a break.
Actually it's not the casinos darling. It's the pharmaceutical companies that are making billions of dollars a year on selling these medications. Plus, the doctors who prescribe them: they get money incentives, free trips, even free meals at luxury restaurants. If you don't believe me, then by all means, look into and do your research.
Not surprising manifestation of cross addiction. People mix alcohol and cocaine, why not pills and gambling?
Gambling is the best and vaping is too
Always been a successful sports gambler as there is always value to be had on a few bets each day... Most people who lose are just stupid people in my honest opinion. The average person is a complete idiot, so bookies sitll profit with the juice. Just read comments online and you should be able to come to this conclusion
I am god
She was already depressed- it wasn’t the pill - winning made up for the unsatisfying life at home!
Look into ability before making such judgments. It is a dangerous drug. It causes all kinds of problems for people. And she's not the only person in the world who has taken ability and wound up gambling and overspending money. Last time I checked, there were 2100 lawsuits against Abilify.
There are two types of addiction loose money and gain money , .make money by buying selling goods
Thrifting/flipping is much safer and profitable compared to gambling.
Now only this is in america, EVEN THE CONTINETS ALSO HAVE CASINOS
She's crazy af...that probably had something to do w thinking you can beat multi-billion dollar companies that make all their profits off bankrupting ppl.
That’s like me blaming Adderall on my gambling lol
complete bullshit. gambling is a drug in its self. nobody forcing you to play. we are responsible for all actions. we have become the land of the offended. don't sham me because I gamble. I love the way
This is about ADDICTION... The drug Abilify TRIGGERS the addictive behavior. If you don't understand Addiction, forget about it.
Why don’t you read up on Abilify before spewing whatever bs comes out of your head? There are lawsuits against this drug for gambling related side-effects, so it’s been proven
This is such garbage. This women is a gambling addict, and now she's looking for excuses and someone or something to blame besides herself for her losses. Just like all the other gamblers I know. And I know a lot. Sorry lady but this is hogwash. You messed up now you have to face the consequences. I have been on prescription drugs my whole life and ability being one of them. Before I was on drugs I liked gambling, and when I was on abilify I actually didn't gamble at all. This is a joke.
Try taking the meds and see
A drug does not cause gambling addiction
But it does. Look up Abilify and see how many people are sueing the company. Last time I checked, there were 2100 legal cases against it because of this. So please don't be one of those people who can't see the forest for the trees. Look it up yourself. Abilify causes not only gambling but also overspending, weight gain and hypersexuality. Most people suffer from at least 2 of these behaviors.
So in other words, she's bipolar being treated with abilify. Great, so she's not gambling anymore, but she's still crazy.
Narcissism is also a disorder, maybe you should go get that checked.
as a person with bipolar who is also taking abilify, fuck you
Ability is NOT for bipolar disorder...it's for depression
@@Puertogrecan Great answer! What a bad person😞
@@chalvipigfiona874 I was prescribed abilify for autism as a kid, and the doctor that prescribed me it is dead.
Gambler don’t blame themself it always other people problems.
Nice excuse for not seeking help earlier... We all have our reasons why we have compulsive gambling problems but blaming a drug seems far fetched
