My dad committed suicide when I had just turned 16. He was a massive gambler and taught me how to gamble at the age of 13. I don't wish this addiction on anyone. The children that are left behind from this horrific addiction are the ones who pay the price for your addiction.
This is the reason I wanna commit. I wish I never met my father, what did I do wrong! I’m just a 12 year old girl. I have absolutely nothing. I wanna die. 💔
It all started out so fun, i was so in control and disciplined with my depositing and my bet amounts. I thought i had it all undercontrol. Before i knew it, i was losing thousands, completely lost the value of a dollar, would gamble a months pay in two hours and my only justification was that it wasnt in my account so it didnt really feel like my money. Im trying to be better, self exclusions on all sites and it starts for me today. Ive never said any of this before and theres something therapeutic sharing it even if its in the comment section. Thank you for your story and i hope we all beat out demons.

Thanks for sharing your story i'm in bad addiction which started 10 months back and now I want to quit before it's too late! your video was very inspiring to me 🙏
My problem is the issue of “just doing little bets”. In my head I know the money adds up all the same, but the addiction doesn’t pay attention to any of that. There are so many resources for people like the speaker here, who go into the near million dollar range and I’m not saying my issue is worse, I just struggle to find help with the struggles I have.
I gambled on a sports game for the first time last month. Won $200. A month later I’ve blown through my entire check I just got 2 days ago. I used to be a drug addict and feel exactly back in that place.
Just keep in mind that there are no winners, even if you win it will just make you come back and lose it all again, leaving you with an empty feeling wanting to win it back just to lose more than you won in the first place. I understand the rush, just try to find it someplace else
Over the last 6 months I was gamble free. Two weeks ago I went to a casino with my buddy for his birthday and put in 100 won 100. I went back the next week lost that 100. Went back the next morning to try and just get my money back and be done again for good. I ended up loosing the 6200 dollars I had worked so hard for the last few months. I only have 400 dollars now and that’s because it was in cash back home
@@clutchramon7134oh yeah the chasing losses is exactly where these rigged casinos get you! It's how they make their money. They know addiction will fuel you and your emotions to chase what you lose so you lose even more and they make even more. And sure you'll win eventually. You may win far more than you lost. But then you lose again. Then the cycle repeats. The biggest win is not chasing the wins and not chasing what was lost. The money will come back to you in abundance once you quit again. I pray for you. I. Also getting help myself to get better and leave it behind. 6 months would be a miracle for me. 24 hrs is hard enough. Hope you recover my friend.

Now did I miss something 🤔. How did he end up in front of a judge with a 4 year sentence, for what?
4 month sentence. When he said he lost over a million- but it wasn’t all of his money, I’m assuming he stole it from someone or a business.
