Pattaya's beach road is seeing many Changes including raising the height of Pattaya beach. Also new shopping malls are being built.

I am a RUclips film maker making information films from around Asia, especially Thailand & other parts of the World.
I live in the UK but try to travel as much as possible to make video blogs with Free info and tips, to save You time and money.

It all adds up, and has now become a little too expensive for me to fund it all by myself on a regular basis.
I have realised the credit card doesn't last for ever, and came back to the UK with many bills to pay.
When I am away filming, I haven’t got an income, but I love showing the people new and exciting places to go to, that you may have never gone to unless you had seen my movies.
I don't expect any person, or persons to donate who does not want to, or hasn't got the means to do so, and like I said previously, my channel will always be FREE.
This is only set up for people who would like to help me fund my next trips a little sooner than me having saving up again, and waiting for the time when I can afford to go again and start filming.
Any donations will be greatly received, and are for my previous movies that I have made, and future films yet to be made.
I am very humbled by all the kind comments I have had, and look forward to entertaining you all again Soon on RUclips.

Thanks Geoff. My wife and I lived in Pattaya at Wong Amart in 1969/70. I try to return every other year and loved your stroll with the latest updates. Rich (Suetape) p.s. Wish I had a video camera back then. Absolutely nothing on beach road... I have a few stills photos still.

Great vlogg Geoff - good info ref the beach and the roof top bar etc.I think the same is happening in Jomtien ref the lease expiring on the bars. Big changes happening in the next 2/3 years. Get it while you can !!!

Yet a great vlog Geoff. They have great cold cuts at the Bodega Bar, a massive plate of Parma ham, chorizo, Parmesan cheese and a few other things for just 225 Baht. Highly recommendable.

Great to see you back in Pattaya making videos. I tried the Hooters a couple of times for some American comfort food. Regretted it both times because they had their music very load and the bass was turned up so much you couldn't even tell what song was playing. The girls were nice looking though!
Nice improvements to the beach there. Ive stayed at Amari hotel there on beach rd many times. Been a few yrs since Ive been back to Pattaya, looks like I need to book a trip soon. Great vid Geoff keep em coming👍

'We are the world bar' was originally called the 'Wunderbar' back in the Nineties and was run by Suk and Sam but then I think they sold it to the old Momma back in the day sigh.Good video Geoff.

Do they still do the all you can eat buffet at the top of the Hilton,it’s fantastic and quite cheap for top quality food with an ocean view in the Hilton. you should vlog it Geoff.
Great vid Geoff but regarding the beach restoration, they have 2.5 kilometres to fix. They've managed 400 metres in 2 years, lol. I don't think it will be ready for the the high season somehow. 2025 maybe. TIT. And that's without the tide coming in and washing it away again, leaving the sand bags left. They haven't a clue, lol.

I use to stay at the Green Hotel on soi 9 behind the police station for years when I visited an drank at the bars on the corner with the Blue over hangs,soi 7 ,I guess.Pretty nice area to get around from.

Forget hooters for the rooftop sunset, try the Black Pearl , or Poppy's just before Mr 99, for 55 /60 that get a cold one and the sunset, still get the sun in the court yard of the bar or sit under cover, and they do good reasonably priced food ,

What time of day was this filmed. So few people around. I almost want to book a flight just to experience the peace and quiet of off-season Pattaya.

The day pattaya gets a blue flag beach/sea, is the day it becomes family friendly, ie; never gonna happen lol.
where can i buy a chang tee
The sand will still get washed away down to the level of the sand bags. The bags will be exposed and get shredded and it will look awful.
So simple to see this problem, yet so difficult for the Thai's to understand what will happen when it flash floods...
Jeremy Williams your right, they did it before sand bagging the south beach, but this time they are staking and covering taking the beach further out, but in south beach keeping the sea back it not all the problem, a river from flooding on land comes down passed the dusit, and cuts a trench to the sea, that will expose the bags
yep and the water is still going to be sewage. Save all water activities for the hotel
