Key difference: 36mm dials have two holding screws on movement side.

Absolutely. Change of any part of an “in warranty “ watch from any manufacturer will void the warranty. Except bands/straps

The press should be somewhat stiff. There is a little play in them. The object is to put pressure on the bezel
