- This chunky crochet cardigan uses two strands of aran (worsted) weight yarn to create a quick and easy crochet cardigan. Using two different colours of wool will give a marled effect/texture but you can use 2 strands of the same colour for a solid cardigan.

How many grams did you use?
hey, I don't really understand the sleeves, when I repeat row 4-6 it creates a very triangle shape, while yours ends quite rectangular... also mine has 36 stitches at the end of row 28 while yours has 28 stitches, what did i do wrong?

Yes you can easily increase the basic chain to fit your measurements! Just make sure the back piece chain measures past shoulder to shoulder :)

The sleeves have to be the same amount of rows as the body length? 28 rows for each of the back n front panels, length of sleeves must be also 28 rows? Thank you.
Hi, the sleeves finish at row 28 and the body rows also finish at 28. This is just by chance since this is a slightly cropped cardigan. You can extend the number of rows if you want the sleeve or body to be longer :)

Hi i cant find any 10 ply yarn where I'm from... would it change drastically if i used 8ply instead?
Hi Sharon, since this pattern uses 2 strands of 10 ply yarn you could use 2 strands of 8 ply but it might be a bit smaller. I suggest using the thickest 8ply yarn you can find. Just make sure that the foundation chain width falls past your shoulders and you might need an extra couple of rows to reach the same length :)

Hi, this pattern has a full pdf pattern available on Etsy (sizes XS-3XL). If you want a larger size you can increase your foundation chain until it reaches past both shoulders.

Hi Dahunsha, unfortunately the chains/sizing will change depending on the yarn you use. I'd recommend using the same weight of yarn for reference, I'm using 2 strands of aran/medium (4) yarn.
