your podcasts have fully converted me to the benefits of a mid-project block. i never wanted to because I didn't want to lose a few days of knitting waiting for my projects to dry but it really can save a lot of hassle later on.
I have A List too. We just saw Red One in theaters with The Rock, Chris Evans, JK Simmons, and Lucy Liu. Highly recommend. I’m working on my Clove Sweater but I didn’t knit during the movie as I’m working on a sleeve with decreases. I’m happy to see your progress with spinning. That was a great video and now I’m very tempted to ask for an e-spinner for Christmas.
I am working on learning Gauge Swatch this year. What I've learned so far is that I use a bigger needle Size. My main WIP is colorwork, and I am struggling to Finish it. I have done four back-to-back without a pallet cleanser; this is my fifth one this year, and I haven't done much colorwork.
I am SO here for the spinning content! I'm so glad you're enjoying it Natalie. I find that I knit and crochet much more than I spin but my intention for next year is to spin some of my stash down. Great idea to do it a little each day to improve your technique. Your yarn is looking great. I would never know you were new to this!
I'm enjoying your spinning adventure from afar! But glad (relieved) that I'm not feeling the urge to try it myself, because as you said - where would I find the spinning time?!
When I lived in Delaware it was easier for me to get to Vulcan's Rest Fiber in Chesapeake City, MD than Yarn Maven in DE. Both stores are so fun and I miss them now that I live in Florida.
Vulcans rest fiber unfortunately closed 🙁 there is a really good yarn store in south Florida called Sheep Thrills. I have yet to go to anything that compares to them
I loved your video with your spinning adventure 🧡 I got a Turkish drop spindle at DFWFF and just spun up my first rolag a couple of days before your video came out! I’m considering an e-spinner for Christmas now to make plying a little easier…
That's so exciting!!! Congrats! I've heard that some people use e-spinners just for plying because it's speedy. With my limited knowledge, I would say the larger 6.0 version of the wheel I showed has more capacity and isn't that much pricier. It could be a good option!

We just watched it and loved it!!!! Lots of crying for sure. We went with a group of friends and wow, did not expect all the crying.

Regal Cinema has an unlimited movie pass. I got it after hearing you talk about AMC's. It was about $19 a month.
Beautiful projects! I'm glad you've had some downtime with friends.
Thank you! 😊

@heatherwilkins1214 oh that's so sad! I'm on the other coast of Florida, but I'll keep that shop in mind if I go to the east coast
I’m enjoying your spinning adventure. Perhaps consider a bigger machine if you really take to it! They make a 6.0 version as well as the Nano!
Thank you! I've heard really great things about that one!
I have the Nano wheel too and have been looking for a battery pack. May I please ask what battery you are using with yours? Thanks.

@ Thank you for the suggestion! I’ll look into it. I don’t suppose you know the brand you used?
Hello from Swansea, Illinois.❤❤❤❤
Hi Janet!
💛
What is the name of the e-spinner you are using?
It looks like the Electric Eel Wheel (EEW) Nano to me!
Yes! The EEW Nano from Dreaming Robots!
You and Brianna need to be neighbors
They were like sisters in that spinning video !!
That would be the dream!
Ur getting a lot of use out of your hoodie !
So much!!!
Stop promoting AI dear god
I feel like there is a big difference between AI Art and AI to build a website. It can be a really handy tool!
@ doesn't matter, any form of AI promotes the use of it and furthers the technology.
