Personally I love my teenager-dedicated park, equipped with a basketball court, graffiti wall, table-top kicker, dartboard, a room for the cheerleaders to practise their routines, and a cozy upstairs area with a mini fridge, game console, and desks so the teens can do their homework. There's a complementary lot trait that makes teenies frequent it =)
I make park/cafes, you can switch them even while still on the lot, the staff will show up. That way you can take the whole family. Bring food or cook it on a grill before you switch it. The kids can grab food when they want and the adults can have coffee. I make the cafe a little open front building with outdoor tables. When you switch all the townies will leave however other sims can be invited over or clubs (one at a time)
I made a Botanical Garden for Newcrest somewhat in the style of Kew Gardens, just so I could have all plants available in any season. There are two versions on the Gallery (ID=CaptLL), one is purely basegame, the other has plants from Sixam, and the herbalism plants, along with all the seasons plants. I'd love to do a final version on a 64 x 64 lot so I could mix plants in with right floral and fauna from the outside world, still under the glass roof, and with all the plants from the all the expansions.
ok thank you for the fish stocking knowledge. That makes my farm-to-table catering chef ideas to thrive with having a pond stocked with fish that are included in recipes. For those who want to know, my sims are a power couple- One is an event planner who hires his wife to cater all his events. So their payment is a combination of event success for gatherings on the weekends and event promotion via home chef hustling during the week where they meet new clients and sell samples of her cooking skills. for the festival park - I use the eco life 3 in one venue so I can have a Fall Fest which is the maker space, Winterfest is the market space, Spring is the garden space and Summer is the community space. Love the national park - pet oasis idea going to incorporate that.
I made a park for kids once. It had an area for toddlers, an area for teens, and an area for kids. I put the kids area under a roof, so they could play board games and draw and play with dolls in all weather. The whole thing was garden themed, I threw a little food cart pod in there, too. Each area was fenced in by a garden wall, so it kind of had rooms, almost like a hedge maze. It was a great place for my sims to arrange playdates.
Love the Outdoor Movie Night and Water Park ideas! But, my favorite is the Stray Park. I'm going to create that one tonight! Thanks for all the great ideas!
I did one with a bunch of Magical Realm items hidden in a clearing in the woods at the back of a park and made it the meeting place for a Magic Teen Club. I also did an adult cruising woohoo park...
For the Fishing Allowed sign, if you have Debug open, with the showhiddenobjects cheat, you will see a fishing sign (pre-stocked) option and that one already has three types of basic fish so you don't have to stock it yourself.
I downloaded #1 when Petey released it and my Sims absolutely loved it. Thank you for all your wonderful game play ideas 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉Will definitely look for the others🎉🎉
Nice ideas! :D I particularly like the moonlight cinema and campground parks -- though a water park would definitely be fun for Sims in summer! :) Makes me inspired to do some building soon. . .
Excellent ideas! Your channel keeps me going in TS4 because it's so useful and insightful. I see in the comments time and again that so many of us appreciate your videos. ^_^
Another hit out of the park - so many good ideas! Absolutely love your build idea videos - thank you for sharing and hope you're having a wonderful day ❤
with one of the nightclubs, i added a kitchen and a gameroom, for those who had kids who also wanted to have fun. to my parks for animals, i add rooms for pets, a kitchen and a living room. so they can choose to be in the pet room, sleep in the living room, and someone can cook them up plates of food!.
I love your “idea” videos. All of these were great ideas. I need to implement some of them in my master save file! I actually made Oasis springs into a Batuu park in a Star Wars save file I made a while back. I needed to feel like my purchase of JTB wasn’t a total waist. Plus I’m a SW fan. Have an amazing day yourself! And a great weekend too! 😁
Thanks for this - I always love your lot ideas videos, because they inevitably have creative things I've never heard of that really add to community lots.
I love your videos! They always make me excited to play the sims 4. Even when I start to get bored with the sims, your videos make me inspired enough to return!
I personally love making parks with basketball courts (and hide the chess table in an inaccessible basement xD), but the water park was a great idea too! Thanks!
I love the idea of the water park! I was gonna build a park in Newcrest and Idk what to add ngl😅, but I just bought Growing Together, that really helps😂
Thank you Lori! Many are on the gallery already (the moonlight cinema, community garden, the meditation park and the winter wonderland). My gallery ID is "PeteyPlaysIt" :)
I'm going to be using your parks - I can already see where some of them will go but something I will be testing is if the treehouse can be used at the park 😂
I have a question for you all. I do have a community garden, but nothing planted there ever ripens so it can be harvested. Is that a common problem? I don't see the point of it if you can never do anything past planting. I do have the Eco Lifestyle expansion. Is it a bug, or am I just doing something wrong? Thanks in advance if you can help an old lady out lol.
The meditation garden park makes me want to buy Spa day expansion, even though I otherwise don´t like it (the pack, not your video, because the overal style of that pack is almost too "modern" and minimalistic for me).

Do you happen to have it on the gallery please😅

Super cool tip! Thank you for sharing :)

Petey Plays It - Parks are always kind of a nice spot for an event, the lot can be set up so many different ways

your timing is AMAZING. i was JUST thinking of building a park!

Genius tip! Thank you for sharing queen!
Yaay! Thanks Petey! I always forget that build/buy mode exists and that some of the objects DO improve gameplay XD
I downloaded #1 when Petey released it and my Sims absolutely loved it. Thank you for all your wonderful game play ideas 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉Will definitely look for the others🎉🎉
Thank you so much for the kind words Oddcreature!! :D I'm so glad the lot has been good to use :D
Brilliant ideas as always, Petey! You never fail to amaze.
I always get excited to play again when I watch your videos!
I honestly love this channel because it reminds me how much stuff we actually can do in this game
I love the outdoor theatre, water park and concert location. I think I’ll add an outdoor theatre to San myshuno park.
You could also build a dog park with training items and a bar for a “pet/friendly brewery” or a kiddo/elderly park
Another hit out of the park - so many good ideas! Absolutely love your build idea videos - thank you for sharing and hope you're having a wonderful day ❤
Thank you so much Sam! I really appreciate the kind words! And likewise I hope you have a fabulous day too!
I adore community gardens, it can take some time to get them flourishing but they are worth it. Really creates a sense of local community.

Love your park ideas! I had forgotten how much they can spice up a Sim's day.

I'm so glad that you found the ideas helpful Kmraz :D! And I hope you have an incredible week! :D
The stray pet park is such a genius idea!!
Thanks for this - I always love your lot ideas videos, because they inevitably have creative things I've never heard of that really add to community lots.
you always have such great ideas, thank you
Thank you so much for the kind words!!
You might want to do a guide about the bust-the dust kit and what the vacuums do and don't do etc.
I love your videos! They always make me excited to play the sims 4. Even when I start to get bored with the sims, your videos make me inspired enough to return!
Awe shucks thank you so much for the really kind words!
These were great ideas. Definitely going to use some of these in my current game. Thanks for sharing!
I personally love making parks with basketball courts (and hide the chess table in an inaccessible basement xD), but the water park was a great idea too! Thanks!
i love this series! i’d love if u did one about hospitals
I love each of these ideas!! Thanks for the inspiration! 💓👍
Thank you so much for the kind comment Patti!
These are fantastic! Thanks again for more great ideas and builds! 💖
Thank you so much for the kind comment Charlee!! :)
I love the idea of the water park! I was gonna build a park in Newcrest and Idk what to add ngl😅, but I just bought Growing Together, that really helps😂
I love the camp grounds idea.
I love your ideas! Will your lots be added to the gallery? They're very nice :)
Thank you Lori! Many are on the gallery already (the moonlight cinema, community garden, the meditation park and the winter wonderland). My gallery ID is "PeteyPlaysIt" :)
Love the nudist camp idea 😂 that’s hilarious
Great ideas as always...thanks Petey👍
Thank you for the kind words Iam! :)
I'm going to be using your parks - I can already see where some of them will go but something I will be testing is if the treehouse can be used at the park 😂
Adding a swimming pool in the park seems to work the hest
Here's an idea: ways to make your sims lives easier: like making a retail store that sells full meals, a retail store that sells upgraded objects
I love these ideas
I have a food stall park so I can gather all the City Living recipes easily
That's brilliant 👏🏾
A "foodtruck" is one of my favourite to build ❤
ideas videos are my favourite❤
Really useful
Pete, these are wonderful ideas! I’d love to add them to my game! What’s your gallery ID/name so I can look them up?
My gallery ID is 'PeteyPlaysIt' :)
0:34 Caleb Vatore pushing kids on a swing gives me questionable vibes 💀
lots of inspiration here, how do your sims do the fire swinging thing tho?
It’s an option that comes up when you click on the bonfire
Really neat ideas! But I don't have most of the packs I would need ... makes me sad.
I believe that plants become harvestable at 5 or 6am in game, so you have to be on the lot before that time so they will appear.
I completely forgot about that lol. I will try that and see if it helps. Thank you! @@Lady.Midnight
Do you make these lot in gallery?
a petting zoo
I make parks into homeless camp spots for sims
It's such a great video. The park in cottage living is awful.
The meditation garden park makes me want to buy Spa day expansion, even though I otherwise don´t like it (the pack, not your video, because the overal style of that pack is almost too "modern" and minimalistic for me).
I really wish builders would discover skills and entertainment. So tired of bookshelves and tvs being THE INLY THING TO DO
This gave me some GREAT ideas which, amazingly enough, I never thought of!! Crazy!! Thanks so much. Love your Channel!!
Thank you for the kind words Crystal!
100%
I drunk a car 😐
