I was a loyal Flowmaster customer for a long time until they started making their stuff in China. I’m a Spintech customer now. Better sound and made in the USA.
If you were a loyal Flowmaster customer for years, you've been losing power for so long, Has nothing to do about being made in China, it was always a poor design for exhaust flow, they do sound good on many V-8 vehicles, but they have some of the lowest flowing cfm numbers out of pretty much most of the good aftermarket brands. Just a really bad design, look into the inlet of any oval shaped Flowmaster muffler, all your hot, high speed exhaust gases all slamming right into a wall inside the muffler, very poor design. Any good straight thru flowing muffler will outperform any similar Flowmaster you put against it, i always liked the Dynomax Ultra Flos, Straight Thru Stainless Steel Performance !
I had a FlowMaster on my 11 Ford Ranger XLT super cab 4WD with the 4.0L V6. It sounded great and it had more power and torque over the standard exhaust. I know that the K&N intake helped as well.
So how do I get Better performance from my 23 Tacoma TRD Off Road 3.5L V6 ? Right now my 3.5L is pumping out 318 horsepower and 295 lbs ft of torque at 2,300 RPM. My truck has the TRD Performance exhaust already on it.
So... instead of just telling us this does this, and this does that... how about explaining why... I don't care about sound, I want to know about performance. Why would these configurations be better than true straight pipes? Sounds like a sales pitch to me...
Right it's allowing excess pressure from one bank to the other allowing better flow. Really h Pipe is all you need x Pipe may grab you a little Uptop but not worth it most the time you will never feel that 1-2hp gain.

@badass6.0powerstroke10 so you don't care if your products are made in communist chin
That's cause they sold. They lost their copyright and lost money cause everyone started making their mufflers.

Not unless you’re SC’d and if you are, that better be to the wheels…
Lighter rims and smaller tires
Biggest bang for the buck=Nitrous Oxide !
Show me the dyno sheet saying those numbers I will buy you a turbo kit for the truck , and cash app you 10,000

Weren't you watching the video ? You always wanna connect both sides of exhaust together.
