Also, I mispronounced Porsche. Apologies to all auto fans.
12 HOURS?! TALK ABOUT WILD!
The chills impression got me 💀
Same 💀💀💀💀
Me too 💀
It sounds so accurate too
Same 😂
"Number 15 Berger King foot lettuce"
Alton Towers really said “oh you love roller coasters? Go get laid”
That chills impression was spot on wtf?
I thought he actually had chills come on
Hey Peter, I know your family-friendly style has gotten you pretty far, but don’t be afraid to include a bit more of your unique humor and personality 😂 you can be hilarious sometimes
Thank you so much! Admittedly, it's hard to break away from the family friendly style sometimes. I've filmed birthday messages for parents to give their kids, and a teacher told me she showed my videos in her 6th grade class. But then again, considering what's on Tik Tok these days, even videos like this are tame.
@@ThemeParkCrazy I’m sure you can find the right balance without breaking away from it!
I was dying at "hard, fast and up in seconds". That was just too perfect. XD
The British roller coaster community is something else.
You mean fun
@@tristiangamingwhat tf are you talking about
The Smiler: 👀
@@CaseySipe I’m talking they’ve done interesting campaigns and just things that you don’t normally see us parks doing like the whole condom add campaign that’s fun lol
Riding Shockwave while standing backwards wasn't ideal. I tried it because the park offered it to us during ERT. Needless to say, when I heard the ride operator instruct us to NOT put our faces flat against the headrest as it could break our noses, I wasn't expecting this to be awesome. We were also told that hugging the center post would make for an easier ride, which is exactly what I did, as you can see in the picture of the train leaving the station. I am hugging that support and not letting go. Lol. To be honest, it didn't help make for a better ride. Riding while standing backwards provided a very, very rough experience. Facing forward, I didn't have a single issue. I enjoyed the ride a lot. Not while riding backwards. Not recommended if you get the chance. Also, coaster RUclipsr @davidjellis has taken part in several of the nude record breaking rides if I am not mistaken.
I swear I could not stop laughing at the idea of coaster condoms.
They're missing a great opportunity with Mangum XL-200.
7 of these are from the UK, we're definitely a little bit weird
I imagine most times The UK marketing teams just get drunk or are on something
I voted for Coney Island's track-jumping coaster. The fact that a coaster so ambitious was being concealed in the early 1900s blows my mind. Even over a century on, we have not gotten as far as track-jumping rollercoasters, but maybe one day! 😃
At least the Donkey Kong coaster comes close 😃😃
@@ThemeParkCrazy that coaster is honestly one of the most exciting things from epic universe
I honestly appreciate you immediately addressing the somewhat clickbait-y nature of uploading a RUclips video with yet another one of those "you won't believe" titles and then actually delivering on that title with the video's content. Respect. 🤜
Thanks! It was a fun challenge indeed!😂😂
When you think about it, the urine smell for Saw Alive make sense as a good portion of the first Saw movie takes place inside a bathroom.
The chills impression is insanely accurate 😂
11:24 Ironically, the Polar Express itself is based on a real life locomotive (Pere Marquette 1225)
Also, Shockwave has since been converted to a sitdown coaster
"That's enough talk about Russian Meat Coasters" is a sentence I never expected to hear 💀
It's past midnight when I'm watching this 😂
Same
Here too.😅
It’s funny to see Henan DINIS not make an official website so some amusement park owner used that name as a website domain to expose
Henan DINIS for its bad quality 😂
IT PAYS OFF TO BE UP AT MIDNIGHT BABY!!!! NEW THEME PARK CRAZY!
11:33 Back before Montu was announced, the prevailing rumor in Central Florida was that BGT was building a ride similar to Space Mountain, housed in a pyramid. I still wish they'd do this...
Love the Chills impression!😂
I may be addicted to rides and coasters but I would NEVER wait 12 hours just to get on any ride.
I definitely would not either lol.
That Chills impression was S P O T ON sir. Well done.
OMG the Chillz impression 😆
I kinda wana build that 5 track coaster…
Imagine riding a coaster naked with strong airtime moments. An RMC naked would be hilarious. Everyone's teets rising in symphony.
The UK is quite a strange place. Theme park industry be gangsta until Thorpe Park walks in 😂
The shark roller coaster isn't even the only coaster they've made that sparks like crazy, they've made a dragon wagon that is just as worse.
I still can't believe the # 15 on the list. I can't stop laughing at the fact that a roller coaster had issues with body odor. Lol
I am very disappointed in my home state for not having ANY dairy or cheese themed rides
Wisconsin? 😂
The fact that the world's first portable rollercoaster stands in my home state in a little park in the middle of nowhere (Marshall, WI) is now my go to fun fact for any occasion and I still have you to thank for it! :)
Thorpe Park: We need smelly Urine!
Also Thorpe Park: Don’t you dare raise your arms because we don’t like body odor!
I would argue that ALL puns are intended. Well done, sir.😂
i might be crazy, but i feel like the latest videos have had much more of ur personality in them. don't know if it's intentional, but i think its awesome!
Thank you! That's one of the main reasons I started doing unscripted content, and including more candid moments. I'm glad you like it!
I knew the Polar Express-Gravity Group one. Voyage at Holiday World is essentially real life Polar Express: terrain usage, airtime, the use of PTC trains resembles the use of a "1927 Baldwin S23 locamotive" (that's what I think they said it was) just because of the fact that the general design of PTC's chassis date back that far, and that's not even discussing the fact that it's in a town called Santa Clause.
I mean, for me the most unbelievable theme park moment was when a girl complained to Walibi Holland because an employee, according to her, broke her phone. The park just gave her a condom as a way of saying "Don't reproduce" lmao
She ended up getting a tv show involved where they would eventually compensate her, even though the park rules clearly says that you bring stuff on your own risk
I refuse to believe that calling RUclips’s policy “anal” during the condom segment was an unintended pun 😂
Someone should design a roller coaster that appears to be still under construction.
Omg the chills impression is so hilarious...i thought i missed the info about a collab you had with another youtuber in this video 😂
I knew about the naked record because Green Scream proudly displays the record outside the entrance of the park. (I knew all of the UK ones actually)
The #1 coaster reminds me of the Whoa pieces from Thrillville: Off the Rails.
Riding in an F1 car on roller coaster track must've been bumpy as hell
11:54 Funny to hear that considering the fact that there is another B&M inverted coaster with Egyptian theme (wich is actually better), blue track, sandy yellow supports and underground dives.
There is also this crazy marketing stunt, where the German tv series "Wetten, dass" made Dirk Auer ride the Roller Coaster "G'sengte Sau" in the German theme park "Tripsdrill" on rollerskates in 2001. He had already tried this in 1998 but crashed and got severely injured. However in 2001 he achieved it and is honored in the ride's theming still to this day with a big poster of the newspaper article about his stunt.
At 2:34, I laughed so hard!
I remeber Efteling making a youtube serie explaining the history of 1 ride and on the Python episode they mentioned the Porche that was riding allong with the tracks featuring Vekoma's other trains.
PS: I visited Efteling with school 2 days ago
Just got in from work after a night shift (6.45AM uk time). Buzzing to see this!
I have a lot of respect for graveyard shift workers. You guys are extremely important. Enjoy the video!
@@ThemeParkCrazy thank you! 😅
I have to listen to the Chills Impression a couple of times. That was good.
my only question about the stripping records:HOW WERE THEY ALLOWED INTO THE PARK?!
They were all special events not open to the public. They wore robes to the ride entrance, then took them off to ride.
"hard, fast, & up in seconds" 💀💀😭
This one's going to do well, I can feel it
ALWAYS get excited when a new Theme Park Crazy video comes out.
Hi, TPC! I wanted to let you know that I love watching your channel! I’ve been watching it since 7th grade, and you’ve shown me some really cool things related to theme parks, and you’re one of the main reasons why I love theme parks! My personal favorites are your videos on Six Flags Over Georgia (my home park), Cedar Point (visited twice), and any video talking about theme parks from the 19th and 20th centuries. I absolutely loved your video about the 30 insane flat rides as well! My favorites were the Giant Swing and Flying Fury. Keep up the good work! ❤
(P.S. Your Chills impression had me rolling! 🤣🤣🤣)
Thank you so much for the kind comment! And thank you for supporting the channel! Great to have you as a fan 😃😃
@@ThemeParkCrazythank you so much! This means a lot to me! 🥰🥰
You forgot something crazy. In Germany, someone once rode along a rollercoaster with special inline skates and tried not to spill a beer. There's even a video about it. (Mit Inline Skates auf der Achterbahn - "Wetten, dass..." im Erlebnispark Tripsdrill 2001)
Believe it or not, I actually DID see the Polar Express in IMAX 3D when it was first released! Though I don't remember anything that stood out over the regular experience, I can at least say that I got that kind of "coaster credit"!
Saying “this streak” talking about naked people on a coaster is crazy 😂
PLEASE do a whole video with your Chills impression omg 💀
10:02 Wow, that’s really interesting. I didn’t realize that Gravity Group designed it. I guess it explains why they animated the airtime so well, also that wicked double down in the scene.
Your videos are great 👍 I always learn new weird things about coasters and you’re definitely one of the best coasters channels on RUclips.
7:00 Hey, that's my home park. I'd like to add something: it's not even a sponsorship, it's a self-promotion. The meat processing plant and the amusement park are owned by the same guy.
Sik is indeed pronounced “sick”. I’ve been on it before and as you’re boarding you hear an announcement “It’s time to ride Sik” and they pronounce it that way
Ralph’s f1 ride was so crazy he almost stalled, yes actually
Impressive that he didn't, and it certainly saved him embarassment!
@@ThemeParkCrazy ikr
The Swarm's poor performance in its opening season is generally attributed to the fact the UK experienced a really poor summer with the weather far worse than should be expected. Also, it had the London 2012 Olympics to compete with. Park attendance was down across the whole country.
Nice Gorilla Monsoon reference my friend!
love how much the uk is on this list im so proud 🫡😭
I know nothing about coasters, and I'm too afraid to get on any coasters with inversions, but I love your videos! They're so fun and informative!
I miss the guy who drove a rollercoaster on rollerblades in Tripsdrill in Germany
Normally I draw the line at waiting for any roller coaster at 90 minutes (and for Disney, it is less than that (virtual queues and ride breakdowns not included)). But DAMN- the US has nothing when compared to the insane wait time of 12.5 hours for The Flying Dinosaur at Universal Studios Japan back in 2016. I do know that parks can inflate the wait time to make it look longer than it may actually be, but 12.5 hours is nuts.
5:24 Dude, that element is EXACTLY like one of my NL2 Intamin inverted coasters. Like, identical tophat style.
This was a great video! Enjoyed it the whole way through, keep up the great work man. And you should totally be chills's co-host.
#1 Sounds like something that would happen in Thrillville: Off the Rails!
Very entertaining and fun to watch. Thanks for posting this.
lol! I worked at Thorpe Park in 2009 - we were given deodrant cans for guests, but it was mostly a way to get people talking; some guests complained and this was a way to kinda poke fun at it and be "look at us" XD as ride attendants we "enforced" it as a joke only XD
I genuinely love the authenticity of your content. Keep it up!
The amount of variety in this video is crazy! Also I did take a swig of my (fizzy) water when you mentioned dehydration. Thanks for the video, and for looking out for us!
About flying dinosaur, I imagine that there will be a similar wait for Top Thrill 2 on opening day...
Hearing "roller coaster condoms" made me think they were oversized condoms big enough to fit the train cars.
I just wanted to take a moment to compliment how your videos have evolved over the last couple years. You should much more confident and relaxed in your delivery, and dare I say "comfortable in your own skin"? And your comments about the value of education, body positivity, etc in this video are really valuable. Keep rolling ♥️
Honestly the idea of riding a roller coaster buck naked sounds incredibly uncomfortable. Cold winds, chafing, getting the dangly bits bumped against the seat or caught in the restraints……
tbh, i don't think stealth was the best option for themed rubber since "stealthing" (slipping the protection off without the other's knowledge, which is very bad) is a thing.
23:16 You missed a good opportunity to mention Park Beyond in this section.
I totally agree that we NEED a Polar Express themed roller coaster, that would be awesome.
Sik isnt the only intamin 10 inverter in the uk. We actually have the original, Colossus at Thorpe Park. It held the record for inversions from 2002 to 2013 where The Smiler took over
Yep! Interestingly enough though, Sik and Colossus are very slightly different. Sik is slightly taller, longer and faster.
17:44 there's something about the look on the gators face.
Really surprised the 2 attempts of driving a rollercoaster on roller skates in Tripsdrill Germany wasnt on this list. But great video nonetheless!
I would have put the dog fart coaster on here lol. By the way I think you're a great youtuber
I hope they wiped down the seats after those naked folks rode the ride
Thank you for including me 💚😊
11:23 there is a real polar express. It is Pere Marquette 1225, which is the locomotive that inspired the polar express, that pulls a polar express themed train.
thats really neat! great vid!
That’s crazy that gravity Group worked with Zemeckis on the Polar Express scene before they ever opened their first coaster. Hades debuted the year after
By the way, I’m totally going to make some type of coaster in RCT3 that goes around animal exhibits now.
Thx for the water break... Much needed lol
Similar to the cars on Python and Big One, at Tripsdrill, a guy rollerskated down their Mammut and Gsengte Sau coasters for a german TV show
Another entertaining and equally informative video. The unexpected Gorilla Monsoon quote was the icing on the cake for me
Glad you enjoyed it!
I remember the crocodiles at montu! Love that coaster
I personally adore The Polar Express. It’s one of my favorite movies of all time. I think this is a cool fact
Alright, I'm gonna count watching Polar Express as a credit now
There is actually a Polar Express ride! This is based on memory from YEARS ago, but every winter, SeaWorld Orlando would retheme a ride to the Polar Express! I think it was a simulator? I may be wrong though. And a Donkey Kong coaster is opening with Universal's new park Epic Universe
6:05 easy fix: just turn it into another one of those troublesome trucks coasters and make the front car look like a frightened James
I don’t think naming condemns after something that’s over in 60 minutes is a good marketing idea.
Wow, those Oblivion condoms give a whole new meaning to "going down"!
