Maybe I’m reading too much into this, but this exchange seems like Superman is actually angry at Omni Man for calling this a challenge. Like he’s disgusted by the idea that Nolan is treating this fight as if it’s some kind of game after he’s hurt and killed so many innocent people(not including the ones in the subway train as that never happened here).
So it seems fitting that after this exchange, Superman kicks things up a notch as well as uses his heat vision against Omni Man, both as a way of showing the gap in power between the two, as well as saying “I’m not playing your games.” And after all of that, he still leaves Omni-Man alive.
Really shows how much Superman values life as a whole.

Everyone likes to forget 3 simple facts that put superman at an unbelievable advantage. Superman doesnt need to eat, sleep or breathe. Theyre just habits he picked up from being raised by humans.
In Superman 3 he nearly asphyxiated in a vacuum bubble created by the supercomputer which didn’t make sense!
I love Omni-man, but this is definitely how the fight would go. 😂

As much as I love Omniman, thank you for this amazing tribute to Superman. I know it's silly but it sometimes hurt to see people undermine Superman and not able to comprehend even a fraction of his power.

The only disagreement I have about this is that Superman's incredible power would probably completely dismantle the Viltrum propaganda Nolan was trained with. And Superman would likely know this. Seeing an emotionally "weak" individual utterly crush every legendary Viltrumite warrior probably would, (in addition to healthy therapy) destroy Nolan's might=right assumption and accelerate his motion towards the side of true good. Killing Nolan probably isn't the actual best outcome.

If theres one thing i love about these past few years, its that its kinda like a renaissance age of the Superman hero. We've had a return to greatness for Superman, and we've seen some really great Evil versions show up in pop culture too (Homelander and Omni Man).
But what i particularly enjoy is seeing how Homelander and Omni Man contrast against the original idea of Superman, especially with him returning to a paragon and superhero. And in that sense, seeing them fight, is awesome.
It shines a light on their differences, and what they all represent. Homelanders embodiment of the worst of mankind in a science experiment. Omni Mans hidden origin as an alien conqueror, rather than an alien immigrant. And Superman, the best of mankind, and the best of Krypton. An alien god with a humans heart and morals. A paragon of justice who would fight the greatest threats, along with the smallest. We see those ideas, go head to head, embodied in these Supermen.
God, i love Superheroes. Especially Superman.
Superman is also a product of a positive upbringing compared to the way the other two grew up like. Jonathan and Martha are the true heroes.
Superman is definitely getting a resurgence, in these very dark times it’s uplifting to read how selfless and kind hearted Superman is to everyone. He gives everyone a chance to do better and cause he’s invincible he will take the hits for anyone just to show he has faith in them.

You can't beat a character who has nearly a century of comic books and movies behind him. There are just too many feats of immense power that you can't really go up against. Superman has lost to weaker opponents than omni man, but he's won against opponents hundreds of times stronger

Superman apparently was nerfed to the ground against nukes in Man of steel ..even though he regenerated pretty fast but it was criminal how they nerfed him in this regard compared to pretty much every other version.
Superman stores his power, he is charged and can go on for weeks using his power far from a yellow or blue sun.. and he dont instantly just die or go powerless under a red sun :D also this comment of yours is bs again because 25% percent of the suns is estimated to be blue/white/yellow suns ..so not 99.99999% of the known universe would be a disadvantegous fighting field for Superman ..and again he doesnt have to be near a yellow or blue sun for weeks to still have his powers.
His speed alone would end the fight before it would start. Omni man would live longer because Superman 1. holds back 2. doesnt want to kill.
Superman could overpower Omni man easily so he could imprison him if there is a "holding cell" that could contain Omni man. If Superman would be forced to kill him he could easily do that. Even the weaker versions of Superman are leagues above Omni man.
And if you work with the stronger versions that can travel with thousands of times of the speed of light or resist to being erased from the Universe with sheer will or withstand Universe destroying blast what hopes Omni man would have? If he doesnt stumble upon kryptonite Omni man and his whole race would be a thing of the past in a second.
Anyways going faster than the speed of light is dumb anyways because anything that could do that would esentially travel in time and it would create a paradox
Also not a great thing for Omni man that a yellow sun would be his doom while it literally charges Superman and not only charges him but it gradually increases his powers and the potential of his abilities..

only Silver Age version could face nukes like it is nothing only removing scar by Kryptonite (which was also referenced in BvS) , and TDKR nuke nor BvS nuke was never tested on Omni-Man.
Also only All-Star and maybe BvS (since only time he ever was in space for long time was also time when 1) BvS where it revived him from the nuke and filled him to the brim 2) in ZSJL where it allowed to completely body Steppenwolf + after motherbox upgrade

There’s no universe where Omni man beats Superman. For as boring as he may be to some people, he’s literally the template for all these other super powered cape wearers. The original. And he has more powers than most of them. He got so powerful at one point they had to weaken him to tell more compelling stories. This is a guy who lifted infinity if there is a such thing. A guy who bench pressed the weight of the world for a couple days without breaking a sweat.
I feel people who say Clark is boring just because he's so powerful miss the point of his character. He's a god who wants to live and be accepted as a mortal. It's not his power that makes him so timeless. It's his determination to use it for good no matter what. Evil Superman types make great villains because they represent what he could be, but chooses not to (in most timeliness at least)
This is also the guy who's sneeze is powerful enough to wipe out an entire solar system.
If Superman is boring then so is Spider-Man they are basically the same personality wise Superman isn't boring people just don't understand his character

For Omni-Man it was the greatest fight of his life.
For Superman it was Tuesday.
The new featured clips & improved audio make a world of difference. This is beyond incredible for such smooth direction. These ARE the characters we know n' love, portrayed at they're accurate best. This is exactly how a fight between these 2 would go. You've absolutely nailed the essence of both characters and the destruction capability of a battle between gods. You've come a long way so fast in presenting good quality videos. All animation studios should be jealous. 10/10 Fantastic Work!. ⭐🎨

See the thing is that the Invincible characters are awesome and are very strong/fast in their own right, but they are basically a weaker version (purposely I believe) of Kryptonians/Daxamites.
They can definitely be matched with some powerhouses, but I don't think they can be matched against people of Superman level as they don't seem to have the strength feats to keep up.
And looking at black Adam and superman, they are in the same category

I ultimately agree with Superman's victory, but it should be noted that Omni-Man's defeat wouldn't be _as much_ of a funeral as everyone says, almost _exclusively_ due to Superman's reluctance to deal bodily harm and Omni-Man's _lack_ of reluctance. Wonder Woman has repeatedly bested a relaxed or unmotivated Superman in combat and due to similar feats we can assume Omni-Man to be similar if not superior to Wonder Woman in many aspects, therein he'd have the brutal strength to deceive and incapacitate Superman before he actually realizes he's in a life or death situation. Again, Superman wins if he's aware of Omni-Man's plans and gimmicks, but if Omni-Man were to hypothetically suggest a spar to lower Superman's defenses and then suddenly go full force with a punch or two, he _might_ incapacitate and even get the opportunity to _kill_ Superman.
Kinda laughable how Nolan looks like he could fold Clark in half meanwhile Superman would have to hold back in order to avoid turning Omni-Man into Omni-Mist though.

This is so cool and well implemented. Funny enough the creator of Invincible kinda despises Superman, so a crossover by Warner seems unlikely... unless Superman is totally buried in that crossover.

I’m not really a Superman fan at all, but I’m pretty sure, canonically (at his strongest) he’d wipe the floor with Omni.
At Superman's strongest, Omni Man would be less than a single cell amoeba compared to Superman. You are speaking of Cosmic Armor Superman, AKA the Thought Robot. An android built by race known as the Monitors using the souls of both Superman and Ultraman. With the brain patterns of Superman, the Thought Robot was created to be the perfect counter to any and all threats to existence itself. Superman's base form is already hundreds of orders of magnitude more powerful than Omni Man, capable of destroying entire galaxies when not holding back. Omni Man can't even destroy a single planet on his own.

i love how smooth your animations have gotten, Foltest. I have an idea for another Omni-Man fight which should prove interesting, and would definitely allow for a lot of alterations. Omni-Man vs Black Adam. Particularly, the anti-hero version we saw in the live action film. I would love to see Black Adam incinerate Omni-Man with his lightning while ripping him in half beginning with Omni-Man's head. Just an idea. you don't have to use it, though I reckon a lot of people would love to see it.
