I have had Scott since 2001 and for me the biggest change is the increase in cost. In 2001 a Scott USA strike 10 was 4800euro which is a long way from todays prices.A Scott spark RC sL is 15000euro.
Seeing as Albstadt has been dropped, I'm not sure what course they'd use this on. Unless Valkenburg is non technical..... I think this is more a XCMarathon weapon.
My friend put this bike together for his son and before I knew it he was done ruclips.net/user/postUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L When the son came to put it together he was surprised to see it was already done. All he had to do was take the bike to get air and be on his way. My friend did not have any major problems putting this bike together; small issue was putting one of the brakes on straight; however when the son got home he was able to fix it. The bike rides well gears move correctly; good bike for the price. Wrote review after the son took the bike. Sorry.
I own a 2022 scan nothing but problems unreliable tires have blown out On me left me stranded multiple times, the shifting not working well, th freehub just went out and left me stranded. Most un reliable bike
Scott needs to build a bike in house. Learn from Ibis “Exie”. After 16+ years I have never own a Scott bike because it is not made in house. Don’t care if nino wins 24+ world cups. I will never buy or recommend buying something made which costs less than 60% of manufacturing. Besides there are other bikes that are better than Scott bikes. Hopefully ENVE will follow Allied bikes and ibis.
Scott is welded up in Taiwan, for their Aluminum offerings.. Taiwan has amazing welders. All my bikes are built in Taiwan. We The People Bmx (Steel), Cult Bmx (steel) and Scott Scale 960( Aluminum).
I just got a 940 for christmas and I love it! Gorgeous af bike.
Got my first scale 930 in 2013 and I loved that bike ! My first 29r and first carbon bike too , it was so light, fast , and fun

What's the difference between the Scale and Scale RC builds? It's not obvious like with the Spark, and they all use the same geo and fork travel.
