Google Pixel 9 Pro XL - Google's Doing What Samsung Didn't
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 5 май 2024
- Google Pixel 9 Pro XL will be the first mainstream Android smartphone to get satellite communication features. Interestingly, Samsung was expected to bring this feature first on their smartphones but the plan was axed at the last moment. So the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL will become the first Android phone to have this feature.

me watching pixel 9 videos while waiting for my pixel 7 pro to arrive:
Meh
Good mate. I am also thinking of buying a pixel 7 pro.
Good lack with that modem and unoptimised 3rd party apps because developers don't care because no one uses pixel..
Always go for snapdragon at least mediatek..
Never chips that are made or designed by Samsung
Hahahaha reverse hyping yourself
@@wheely4405 As a Samsung chip user, you are absolutely right 💯
Prior to YT, Tiktok and Insta, the term "dropping" actually meant abandoning, not introducing.
It's based on Air Drop, which has been around since world war where airplanes dropping weapons and supplies (as in features) to the soldiers (as in consumers)
We're waiting for the pixel 10
Exactly!
Sal's comment section is always so wholesome and packed with constructive criticism. Great info.
I am a galaxy fan but congrats Pixel
That blue colour, love the back design of cameras
They should just call it Pixel 9 Fold and not Pixel 9 Pro Fold.
Yes! The Pixel 9 Pro Fold name is a bit of a mouthful lol
just hope they improve the ui
Speedy recovery bro
Thanks :)
I doubt theyre gonna do a pro model of the fold. Like, what pro stuff is it gonna have? More cameras?
in this video you sound a bit like your girlfriend broke up with you
LMAO
Haha yea he's normally lively lol
What about the heating effect
Wasn't a big fan of pixel design but this pixel 9 design actually looks better
Any updates if Google plans to discontinue the a-series? Will they cancel the 9a?
No, as of now, they are not cancelling their a-series
Pixel 9 Pro Fold? Definitely sounds like Google's response to the Z Fold 6 ultra either way, I'm all for it and looking forward to all the bells & whistles plus see how it's priced.
I actually wouldn't mind a smaller not so heavy pro model...
I wonder when google will be releasing pixel devices here in New Zealand.
Interesting
Hmmm… I bought a new lenovo m7 just for the bigger screen compared to regular almost 7inch phones reason (cuz Lenovo Y700 8inch tab is still too big to my liking). But I dont want it taller, I want it wider.😢
Yay might be my s23ultra replacement or the 10 pro xl
Hell no my s20 fe 5g is still going strong keep that s23 for another 5 years at least snapdragon ships are very durables
@yasser9350 no way camera is oversaturated and battery doesn't last a full day and needs brighter display
@@yasser9350Pixels are just better all around
@@harryvlogs7833 I agree with the battery but the camera is not oversaturated
@jkul872 ummm yeah it really is compare it to a pixel that take natural photos
Google should fix their hardware first. i care more about batter life and less heating issue on pixel than any other feature
can they atleast bring the camera watemark feature
As an iPhone user and as someone who had bad experience with Samsung multiple times in the past, the upcoming Pixel line up definitely seems to be tempting (but also probably too expensive for me)
Yet you have a iPhone which is way more expensive than the pixel line up, how do you own an iPhone (can afford an iPhone) 🤨🤔, either you rinsed your wallet or you're terrible at budgeting
@@HShango I purchased the iPhone 12 Pro used 2 years ago for 600€, which is obviously cheaper compared to a current gen Pixel device
as a Samsung owner going to an iPhone and having a Horrible experience, I'll be getting the pixel
Looks like a bugatti owner saying buy a tesla is too expensive for me
Just say you love iphone so much you re not ready to change it
Oh wow not a Samsung video! Nice
#TeamPixel
Might be controversial...I want 3d touch. The idea of tapping lightly to do one thing and tapping harder to do something else would make things faster than tapping and holding all the time.
Would be cool if they took it a step further and made normal taps reveal one menu or feature and hard taps reveal a different menu or feature
Great info.
Glad it was helpful!
I'm excited for Pixel but my 7 pro's battery life and screen brightness has been unacceptable, so I'm just hopping on the Samsung S24 Ultra until Google steps up into more premium materials and a better battery. Pixel 9 pro XL might just be it, but I'm not waiting until October
I like what Pixel is doing regarding their sizes. If only Samsung would do the same...
iPhone user here that wants to try a google phone, not switch but at least try it giving it a chance since my last Samsung phone didn't go well and Samsung support was a joke 😭
Same I’ve been thinking about swapping to a pixel, or maybe having one as a second phone for a short time.
Might have to switch from my Pixel 7 to the Pixel 9 Pro this year 🙌
Hi Sal 👋
Have a Great Day :)
You too!
Honestly, Pixel 9 Pro Plus and Pixel 9 Fold sounds better?
I know I'm gonna get a ton of people that disagree, and I agree it's cool to see the XL make a return
pfft Pixel 10 review is already out
I am a android fan I always ilke to watch android devices
I guess one of the first questions regarding personal communications from a time traveller comming all the way from 1980 to 2024 is wondering why we still don't have broad access to portable satellite connectivity devices/phones. I make myself the same question. Devices exist but are not easily obtainable by the public and are not integrated into the cell phones. I think Elon Musk might be one of the first to step into this, the same way he is doing with his broadband satellite internet plans for houses and vehicles.
I'm still waiting for a pixel 9 mini, S25 mini, ... Just give me something modern with a ~5 inch screen.
They should also just skip the name "8a" and move it is "9a"
Qualcomm's reason for dropping that feature is stupid.
If Pixel continues to use Tensor chips then none of this would really matter.
What, HDR? Samsung cant say it has better X nits brightness when it produces less nits in HDR (when not in direct sunlight) compared to even the pixel.
Bro why as soon as apple does somthing everyone else follows??? They literally could just listen to their customers instead of Apple smh 🤦♂️
Good morning sal
Good morning!
Did Samsung not do it because of Qualcomm?
Im only waiting for galaxy s25 ultra. Currently using iPhone 14 pro max.
There's no other leak or rumors that get me this excited than the Google Pixel ones the rest are meh to me
How about watching the video before commenting. Anyways, Qualcomm removed it because no one used it? We didn't use it because it didn't get released main stream lol. If it was released with the S24 Ultra lineup then I would have used it and I think a lot of others would have as well. I'm talking about the satellite communications features.
I didn't mean that we used it; no OEM did.
@@TechTalkTV Oh, gotcha. I still think they should have trial ran it on the Samsung's, I personally bought the S24 Ultra USA and I would have liked to see that feature if not just to try it out.
Not a good idea. Fold should come out in January
I think Google is convincing myself to switch from Samsung... no innovations from Z Fold lineup and basic improvements from S lineup not worth it...
Then they should scrap the pixel A series...
Hope they improve the chipset more than this ai thingy, tensor chips are garbage
So sad that two-way satellite connectivity didn't make it to the public. I was very excited about this feature, I have been waiting for it since there were rumours about it being included in the S23 Ultra... It would be pretty useful in non-emergency situations as the cell phone coverage isn't perfect even in crowded areas.
Apple is crying after watching pixel 9 series & its fold phone😂
🎉
Me watching this on my pixel 9
I really want to try google phone but the tensor chip is always inferior compared to sd and apple silicon.
So, clickbait thumbnail
Hardware is still trash, so there's no point in bothering with it .
Charging will definitely take around 2 hours plus tensor again 💀
I can honestly see that you never owned a pixel even from zero it never took 2 hours to charge of pixel device so tell me you never own the Pixel by saying you never own the pick somebody making a comment 😂🤦🏾♂️😂🤦🏾♂️😂
Tensor = 🗑
Do anything but in the end it's just a Android phone.. and Android was modded to be like iOS.. and it sucks.. until Google doesn't come up with a OS build by them just for smartphones they will continue to suck... Think about it bro Android was build by some Russian than bought by google and modded it for smartphones just to compete against Apple 💀
All google products are nothing more than beta test before getting canceled.
Is their contributions to genocide a beta or the final release?

Another gimmick
Your ignorance is impressive. But not surprising given your history.
If by "Google's doing what Samsung didn't" you mean: "contributing to a genocide and firing their employees who speak out against it" then yeah...
Used and loved Android since 2.1. never owned an iOS device but that might change. Might drop my Pixel Aparteid Pro.
Did Samsung not do it because of Qualcomm?
