We loved every minute of this video! 😊 Just simply fantastic content, I believe more folks in Jamaica can do AIRBNB and take advantage of what other corporations have been doing for decades, With Jamaica's natural beauty in every regard Beaches, Lush Mountains, rivers, culture etc...Jamaica is constantly being marketed to the world 24 hours a day. So if they have the ideal accommodations along with location and knowledge of hospitality which is also a key factor along with dedication like you mentioned and be discipline with the business, It is definitely a good source of income if done correctly! Hi Irina. Great video.I've stayed are AirBNB all over J. My wife and I want to buy a small property by the water for part time home and AirBNB in the next few years. She is a Jam citizen and property owner in Portmore. I hope the tourism comes back to Jamaica in 2021. So many people their lost jobs and there are hurting.
Another great vlog ..... Air BnB reminds me so much of a tourism drive they had in Jamaica when I was a little girl, can't remember the actusl name but I believe it was "Meet the People" where visitors would actually stay in people's homes during their stay, more or less become part of the family.

I don't know if people in the BnB industry are aware but you can look to the locals for business. For me personally, a group of us have discovered spending weekends at BnBs. It is so much fun and it has allowed us locals to feel more welcomed in that industry. Normally we feel unwelcomed at big hotels and when we want to explore and enjoy our island, but BnB hosts have proven to be so welcoming, we are yet to receive any bad vibes. All this to say, even during these times, look to the locals! ☺️
Great advice. It depends on if people are willing to have such short stays as a weekend though because of all the sanitizing and cleanup now involved extra with COVID.

As a real estate agent working in Jamaica i have seen really strong interest in persons acquiring properties to use for Airbnb and they continue to do very well...some of them even during these uncertain times. This makes me so sad because those monster hotels eating up our precious coastline are not owned by Jamaicans and too few Jamaicans will ever get to own their own homes, much less one in as nice a place as this.
Its because the government is selling all of our land . Not giving there own people a chance because there greedy for money. Pretty soon it will be like it was 500 hundred years ago. No lessons has been leaned.
