Hi Irene, great content on beloved Jamaica, I AM UK Born, living in Brazil, strong connections in Jamaica. Its Nice to see positive information about Jamaica, só many Born Jamaicans living abroad like to throw Stones at the Island And complain about crime which as Everybody knows is not exclusively a Jamaican problem, crime is everywhere in the World. Youre doing a splendid job promoting Jamaican/Caribbean life to the World, keep It going.
Thanks for reminding me that Jamaican passport is more useful than I thought but I'm still living in the US. Hopefully one day I will close this chapter and renew my Jamaican passport.

And, you report on things like how living there/owning property there is a positive investment, how services might be improved, etc. Thank you for another beautifully made video! Your LOVE for this lil island runs deep and your heart shows it mightily!!💯
Da woman ya a do good work. I’ll never trade my Jamaican blue book fi anything. St. Kitts and Nevis is a colony; not an island nation. So many Saudi Arabians have St. Kitts passport because that’s where they go to do their crap that they can’t in the kingdom. There is a famous case going through the courts in London right now. Jamaicans have a foreign mind, and we often see our nation as less than.
Such true words. The worse part is, when they travel they try so hard to adopt the foreign accent not understanding that an accent doesn't make you sound educated.
The amount of knowledge and insight from this video just blew my mind. The background context and organization of the material was much appreciated, Irinia. Hopefully, Ukraine will come around to dual-citizenship soon.

You hit the ball out the park again Irina. Your thirst for research has no boundaries. Truly amazing. Well done and well presented again. I learnt a lot here. Most of Jamaicans did not know these facts. You keep raising the bar. Thank you.
Hey there how are you? Thank you so much for this video . You know the less educated you are the quicker you are to denounce the value and worth of what you are part of. Anyway today again I have learned something new from you. I have a British passport though still a Jamaican citizen by birth. I definitely intend to renew my Jamaican passport particularly now that I am retired. Thank you so much mi Irie. Wishing you much success and well being.
Just make sure that you do not give up your British passport - with Patel in charge and a racist Home Office, it be hell to try and have it return to you
This was a great video, and it is very accurate that a lot of Jamaicans are not educated on this. There is also another arm to this and the various services we can access including CCJ etc.
Thx so much for this, I am a dual Cdn/US citizen who got trapped in Montego Bay 4 months when Covid19 hit, I am moving to Jamaica in a couple of weeks for at least the 3-6 months allowed by my privilege. #Mooji
Irina, your research and delivery of content continues to superseed all expectations. You are truly an asset to Jamaica and the media industry. Keep up the good work.
This policy is nonsense. The same thing with marijuana. Jamaica should have legalized it decades ago. Jamaica would have been one of the wealthiest countries on earth. But, what did they do? They waited until other countries legalizing it. Then Jamaica began to run behind other countries. That's BS. It doesn't matter what your research says. The fact is, Jamaica is one of the poorest countries in the world. That's in itself tells you that the Jamaica policy is BS.
Great content, so appreciative. I have always known the power of the Jamaican passport, that’s why 30plus years in the US, I still hold on to mine!! 🇯🇲🙏
@@darkfeminineconsciousness Jamaica knows allowing dual citizenship is critical. Most people want to work for the high wages paid by US employers and send the money back to Jamaica instead of raising the funds to start a business in the Caribbean. If they work for the government in the US for 20-25 years at age 55 they qualify for retirement income, their US coworkers will be jealous that someone can go live in Jamaica without restriction. Prehaps the money they were send to Jamaica has set up real estate and a business to guide Americans through the visa process, finding a doctor and other long term needs. If King Charles doesn't want Jamaica to go their own way, something will be done that will make it easier Canada, UK and Jamaica investments.
Listen!!! Just last week there was a mention in a Jamaican newspaper about a company CEO saying that Jamaica needs to allow citizenship by investment. I’m so glad I found this page. Can’t wait for the documentary
Wow Irie you done it again. This is amazing information. On this score respect to Jamaica on not being 'for sale' in that way. I have observerd over several years with my frequent trips to Jamaica the amount of foreigners that have chosen to come, live and work here despite all the negativity Jamaica gets . They see something here that many Jamaicans living abroad don't and many foreigners that queue up at passport office in Jamaica to get that extension to stay. Despite all the hassle and cost they do it and we take this for granted. Thank you once again Irene.

Wow! I am a jamaican and I have just learn some new and interesting things. Make me even prouder to be a jamaican. Will be watching your channel more. Keep it coming!!
I always wonder why so many Jamaicans fail to take advantage of their Caricom citizenship, I have friends who have worked in several islands.
You can renew or get your Jamaican passport at anytime even while holding an American passport!
@@janna-joemcleod8633 if only their currency was strong then perhaps they would

WOW! You dropping knowledge! Very informative stuff. Keep up the good work.
I really enjoy learning from you. I could watch people doing silly dances on tictok or funny cat videos for hours or I could watch you teach me something interesting and valuable to know. I have had very few teachers in my life that could capture my attention like you do . You are the best, keep it up. I wish you much success.
I am a Jamaican living in America for five-year now and is recognized as a legal resident in possession of my JA passport. Now getting these information about this passport has caused me to feel more travel powerful than an American.
You've taken journalism to another level, Irina!!
You give the viewer/ listener a comparative global history lesson, a Bibical perspective and a refreshing argument on the reason why a Jamaican passport is a worthy 'possession'!
With an Ambassador like you, Irina, Jamaica will be poised for great things!
You're truly a GEM for Jamaica!! You're ALWAYS using your platform to promote Jamaica's beauty.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate people noticing these things 🤓🙏
Hey Irena love your channel
You made me hate my passport less and not feel cursed. Thank you for this amazing video. We'd like to see more similar videos about strategic and up for grabs passports.
Most blogs entertain. This episode screams class in session. Thanks!
Irie, knowledge is golden. Thank you.
I have travelled a lot, hold a Canadian passport and had no idea about the power and privilege of a passport - thank you for explaining this extremely complex process
Hei irene this has opened my eyes ;stay safe and God.
This is very enlightening! This exudes a different kind of love for my country. Thank you for the information.
You hit the ball out the park again Irina. Your thirst for research has no boundaries. Truly amazing. Well done and well presented again. I learnt a lot here. Most of Jamaicans did not know these facts. You keep raising the bar. Thank you.
Bless up irena for those info, which alot of jamaican don't know. Peace n love irie
Irina, respek!
Once more, well researched, well done! This content is worth revisiting as a source of reference. Rest assured I will.
Another educational Sunday , thanks!
Every video you upload I learn something new . Thanks for educating us Irina . Bless up , one love 😊
Amazing video, I didn't even know these things as a Jamaican. The government needs to emphasize this in schools.
Wow I didn't even know all of this, so interesting, thanks Irina 💯👏🏽🇯🇲
Let's hope Jamaica holds steady on this policy.
I like this reply. Says some of what I have concluded on ganja

Great content, so appreciative. I have always known the power of the Jamaican passport, that’s why 30plus years in the US, I still hold on to mine!! 🇯🇲🙏
I bet you wouldn’t give up your US passport for it
@@darkfeminineconsciousness Jamaica knows allowing dual citizenship is critical.
You are the best you tuber so informative keep up the good work.
Support the patron if you can
Awesome irie so interesting thanks for your time for investing into your research and educating us as jamaican you should be an ambassador for jamaica and the tourist board keep it going.
Awesome!
So helpful. I’ve been trying since last year for my Jamaican passport but COVID is holding up the process.
Can I just say how educational that brief presentation was. I truly enjoy your channel Irine. Keep it coming. Lots of respect and God's blessing
Hey irie as I always your are the best..tomorrow I'm going to call the embassy and renew my jamaican passport..

Absolutely...Interesting facts....Thank you for your work its just pure brilliants
Love this lady so much
You came and fell in love with Jamaica it's people and the culture. You are so knowledgeable about the Island and we can see your passion for Jamaica. You are no longer a foreigner you are an honorable Jamaican it's a shame your country does not allow dual citizenship it must be a tough choice if you have to renounce your country's citizenship in order to get Jamaican citizenship hopefully you can have dual citizenship in the future....I am proud of my country and people for welcoming you and your family as Jamaicans representing our motto " out of many one people "
Thank you! 🙏 I'm very lucky to have the opportunity to live in Jamaica.
