Ucal was my classmate at Cornwall College. From back then he had an entrepreneurial spirit. I bought a van from him some years ago. Great buy it was. I’m very proud of his success. Blessings
I have used Ucal car rental for years, and I must admit, it’s the best. Family oriented loving and courteous staff. I would recommend them for you rental needs.

Everything said in this vid is real, true power couple, I’ve rented the Cube and I love it, modern fleet of vehicles and the price is really budget friendly for rentals 🙏❤️
I rented a car from UCAL's in June and it was a wonderful experience. I've also reserved a car for the Christmas season. Thanks for posting this video, Irina.

I am coming to Jamaica in July with my daughter and I have made reservations with another car rental company. I am staying in Mobay for 4 days and then going to Negril for 3 days. It would be great if I could meet you. I am staying at the RIU. I would like your opinion on renting airb&b in 2025. I would need a place that could accommodate 10-12 people. BiG Up nuhu self Ucal and company 🎉🎉 1❤1LOVE 🎉!! 🎉 My journey wit Ucal's started over 10 years ago after I arrived in Jamaica with a pre paid reservation with Avis only for the manager at the airport office tried to rip me off with an up charge and major disrespect 😮. A gentleman overheard my experience and introduced me to Ucal's and the rest is history. One year I rented a mini van which broke down in Ocho Rios and their prompt response with a replacement was phenomenal 👏 👌 🙌 😍 🎉🎉. Thankyou Ucal's. Say hi to Ms Williams if she is still with you 🎉🎉🎉
I’m a Cornwallian like Ucal, I only rent from him when I go home to Jamaica, best place to rent, will be going to Jamaica soon, and will be renting with him again.
Nice If am renting I would definitely check them out I tried to drive in Jamaica once but I was going on the other side I think if the Steering Wheel was on the left as it is in the US I could drive but not having the Signals on the left makes it hard So I always rent and get a Jamaican Driver to drive me around
Interesting. For me, with the steering wheel on the right, my brain automatically switches and so driving on the left becomes natural. I believe if the steering was on the left then driving of the left would seem unnatural.
I feel your pain. When I drove in the USA, I turned on wiper instead of indicator and vice versa. I also had difficulty staying on the right. In short, I gave up before I had an accident.
While I have not heard of this car company, I am familiar with a DIFFERENT one who is outside the airport and would suggest that that company be avoided at all costs. This is a good presentation for Ucal's. A little sneaky to put it on one of the FB pages, but it did get me here.

I unfortunately did not have a positive experience with UCal's several years ago - trying to charge us for damage already on the car. Looking at their reviews, seems to be a common scheme. Thankfully my credit card successfully reversed the charges. I've used another local company CHALIS in Montego Bay - they are the only company that has never tried to tack on extra charges like mandatory insurance, damage, etc.

They will meet you at the airport, pick you up and drive you to their office nearby, where you can sit down and do the documents and then get the car right there. Unlike with the companies at the airport, when you often have to stand and wait at their "window" and then walk to the car somewhere in a parking lot or wait for it at a crowded arrivals area.

I wonder if it’ll be more risky to rent my own car or to just have someone drive us (me and a sister) around but we don’t trust a stranger driving us . But if you turn into the wrong road you could get hurt and never seen again, so maybe having a driver is safer? Idk which to choose😅
I’ll try them out but their price is no different from island car rentals or the others, actually they are a little higher, I just left Jamaica and I paid only $267.95 for a week from island car rental for a Toyota Yaris and they gave me a free upgrade to a suv Hyundai Tucson.
I think it's a separate charge. Alternatively, you might want to get a local simcard for the time of your stay to make calls and find various places easier, can use google maps with data. I prefer Digicel, they tend to have better coverage in most places.
