Damn, added 13 mods from this list that I never knew I needed till I knew they existed! Thank you! One good QoL mod I suggest is 'Werewolf Transformation Timer - SkyUI Addon' so you can see how long you have left on your transformation so you can gauge your next action.
As to not disable the disarm shout completely, there's a mod that changes it so it only unequips the items. It just makes it a minor inconvenience rather than a reason to reload a quicksave.
Man there's a bunch here I didn't know about, or those settings. One thing I wish I knew before that I only found out today, better third person selection has a setting in the MCM to only shows items to steal when you are sneaking. Omfg that makes a difference. Thanks for the great vid.
I prefer the mod that makes slaughterfish passive and then the mods that glowmap them and their eggs. Makes me happy to see them instead of aggravated. IMO, the nirnroot windchime sound is just as annoying as the originla sound. I suggest using a mod that disables the sound altogether.
I will do a little shameless self-promotion here. I made a Sound Replacement for Nirnroot as well, if you want Nirnroot to still sound magical. It's called Ethereal Nirnroot. It reduces the sound to a soft, magical hum and there are 6 versions: Normal, Higher Pitch, Lower Pitch and quieter versions for all 3, if you only want to hear nirnroots when you're right on top of them.
There are literally some quests I hate having to do because of knowing that sooner or later, I'll be having to wait while whoever is talking to you and you cannot skip what they're saying. So that MOD to skip their chat, is now downloaded. 👍 _I had heard of it ages ago, but like so many MOD's, unless you know it's exact name or even what part of the MOD's name is, I could never find it on Nexus._ But now I have, thanks to your video. 👍 And the same with NPC's standing in front of you. I couldn't find that one either 8-))... 👍
Dude these flashy effects when you hit enemies with weapon are so nice. Btw can you make a combat focused video where you basically show us modded combat but without any screen shaking effects, just want to see it
I wish I knew about Disarmless earlier. I had a battle-mage that got disarmed SO MUCH, I resorted to using Summoned Sword. But then it became part of her build, so I am not mad about it.

Completely agree on the use of VioLens. Especially when using ranged weapons or ranged spells, the vanilla game's kill moves can completely break the game. When it switches to the kill move cut scene, it actually changes the aim of the shot! Even though the engine itself detected that your shot should hit and kill the enemy, the killmove mechanic itself actually causes the shot to miss (and, if sneaking, only serve to alert the enemy to your presence.) Aside from being annoying for breaking immersion, it actually breaks the game itself and Bethesda apparently never saw fit to fix this obvious bug. On the flip side, kill moves against the player are also completely broken in the vanilla game, as it locks out your controls as soon as it detects the beginning of a move that would kill you, which prevents you from actually dodging or blocking that move or dealing your own faster blow first, even when you had plenty of time to do so and should have won the fight. It literally causes you to die just because of a broken game mechanic. So, yeah, I use VioLens to disable both kill moves from ranged attacks and any killmove against the player character simply because both of those things are completely broken in the vanilla game and Bethesda never fixed them.
I usually love your showcases and would like to encourage you to keep up the good work but I usually hate these kind of mods and would never install them lol. I feel like they take away from Skyrim more than add to it. Thanks for the video anyways though. I'm sure someone out there found it useful. Can't wait to see more of your overhaul showcases!
Engine Fixes is definitely essential. However, You should change the ini file setting to disable achievements with mods, as it can actually cause other mods to act screwy or just not load/work properly. This was an issue many people, myself included, have run into. I genuinely spent days banging my head against a wall trying to figure out why a bunch of my mods just weren't working at all only to discover this was the issue. As soon as I changed the setting to disable achievements all of my mods began working properly.
QOL mods in games are tricky, we have all a personal conception for what is QOL. Some mods may looks like cheats to some, while others call them essential. Saw this in many games. Then as long it's a single-player, feel free and do what you want. Some are very handy, i must agree. while others mods are just over the top. 😄
5:32 slaughterfish may not scare everybody, but having thalassophobia those weird lookin mfs creep me the hell out I stay clear of water in this game most of the time
Great list, however, if you use Infinite Stamina Out of Combat with the mod that allows you to meditate to learn new shouts (can't remember the name rn) you won't be able to ever complete your meditation successfully, because you have to cease meditating under a specific amount of stamina as it drains, but before you run completely out. Being out of combat makes it so your stamina literally can't drain to complete the task. I still use infinite horse stamina out of combat, though.

I use Steel for Humans for Witcher 3 style killmoves and use VioLens to disable the camera, while keeping the killmoves on. I find this preserves combat flow a bit better.
fun fact there is a method to actually speed up the waiting process without any mods simply you take the pointer to where ever you want and without taking you finger of the mouse click you press the wait button then you drag the pointer back to zero then the waiting will become instant and this is no different from normal waiting and sleeping
My thoughts very important mods that are good basis for anyone's load order. Especially Engine Fixes never play Skyrim modded without it. A alternative to Slaughterfish are extinct I'd recommend is Underwater Combat which does exactly what it says and allows you via Nemesis and DAR to actually fight underwater making Slaughterfish a non-threatening enemy to kill at your leisure are they annoying still yes but at least you can actually kill them without having to resort to some terrain shenanigans or just removing them from the game; it also opens up other water based enemy mods to actually threats you can fight back against, just remember your helmet with that water-breathing enchantment.

I have been having trouble using some of my animation mods. I watched the video you had on how to use OAR. However even though i follow your steps, only part of the animation is working. For example, the ZAP animation mod. The idle stance works all the time. However, the attack animation and the running animation is still stuck on vanilla Skyrim. Anyone know how to fix that?
I came looking for a mod to help me display items in the cases more easily and this guy had me question if he was even playing Skyrim. My man, calling some of those mods quality of life is a bit of a stretch xD

A good suggestion: Passive Mudcrabs, makes Mudcrabs docile unless attacked first. Something like in ESO.

There is a patch for Quick Loot called "Quick Loot RE for 1.6.1130", which works on the current version of 1.6.1170.
Quick loot EE works out of the box though, why go for RE?

Instead of "read or take" or "use or take", I use Dynamic Activation Key which has even more cool features like this

I only use it for my horse. If I’m paying 1000 gold I want a horse that can run longer than 5 seconds lol. Keeps immersion, and gives a purpose

The hair is called Valkyr hairstyles and it's important to optimize your game and get some good performance enhancement mods
