I'm the author of Cyan's Class Mod. I appreciate the coverage. Your explanation of the core of what the mod does and is designed to do was pretty much on point with the design philosophy behind it. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say you may just be responsible for the huge surge in unique downloads for the mod not long ago. Cheers, mate. I may or may not release a few more classes when I decide to start modding Skyrim again. Shhh. Don't tell anyone...
@@darkdog42 i used to do that too often lol then i settled down and finally painstakingly got a modlist im happy with, but ill still watch every mod video i see and check nexus regularly for smaller mods to add, honestly feels good to actaully sit down and just play skyrim you realise how fun it is and why you started modding in the first place
For those on the fence with Sentinel, you have the option to pick and choose what armors you want in the game. For example I want to use the stand-alone version of Sons of Skyrim and I don’t want the Orcish variants, thankfully I can decide that I don’t want to use it. You can also fairly easily disable the distribution of some items, so they don’t spawn on NPCs. I personally disabled the Rogue armor spawning on Aela since I think the Ancient Nord is cooler. The only issue is that it’s Constructible format has some issues with other mods, such as placing the something like the River Watch set from Pul in the Altmer tab.
I literally just finished tweaking my mod list this morning. Should I watch this and risk getting a new mod that would break the game once again? Yes, absolutely.
The double edged perk system is exactly what the more overpowered perk overhauls like Ordinator need in order to balance out all the insane god like abilities you can attain. Also much slower leveling and perhaps even needing more than just one perk point to unlock the higher level perks. Lastly having to specialize so that if you're a warrior you'll suffer huge debuffs if you also decide to speck into the mage skill trees and vice versa.
i balance out ordinator by having multiple AI mods making em more difficult to fight. cause i love the flexibility of ordinator. but the double edge one really looks fun
@@GoalOrientedLifting I totally understand where you're coming from and trust me I mod my Skyrim to essentially be a ultra hardcore survival sim where every facet of the game is brutally unforgiving and furthermore there are no second chances due to using permadeath. Yet even still I find ordinator to be very unbalanced and more so catered to power gamers which of course is a completely legitimate way to play the game but simply doesn't mesh with my own play style.
Master of One seems really interesting but if I understand well, every point invested in a perk aggravates the drawback. I would have prefered to have a big penalty at first and saw them reduce as more points are invested in the perk. That's said you're right, I've never heard of that one XD
kinda same, or at least a much more dramatic increase in the benefit compared to the drawback. Quite literally my only complaint about the mod and something I would love to see someone patch

I notice that in a lot of your videos you have tons of really cool parallax/tessellation on your textures. How do you go about that other than the ENB parallax options? I use the 2020 downscale texture pack with their parallaxes and it doesn’t really give parallax to much stuff.
