Absolutely true, and you know what’s crazy, a lot of the TT peeps I follow have brought to light an SA situation, which led to more. And then finally a man spoke up, and had video evidence of it happening, and then the woman that did it had a live and she LAUGHED about it. Thinking that she didn’t SA him just because he’s a man and she’s a woman. NO!!! NON CONSENSUAL TOUCHING from ANY gender is SA. Period. Women aren’t alone and neither are Men! People saying “it’s not gruesome” simply mean it’s not filled with every single gory detail and there aren’t gross photos from the case. Ya’ll, a girl has to stay monetized. Many podcasts have warnings and disclaimers in the beginning of their true crime case too. It’s not uncommon. 🙄🙄

I've watched Bailey for a few years now. She makes it feel like we're besties. Anyway, my coworker was telling me she's obsessed with true crime and I said "if you love true crime, you should watch- " then interrupted me saying Bailey? I was like YES GIRL! Then my other coworker said, you guys talking about Bailey? I love her. So then we were saying Bailey-isms like Nay Nay, be safe out there, and singing the theme song for a few around 11pm at a children's hospital, lol. You reach and connect with so many people girl! I was shocked (then not so much because you're awesome) that my coworkers watch you too. There is a big age, demographic, lifestyle, and such difference between my coworkers and me and we love you!
Some of my coworkers and I go to ihip after work regularly and I mentioned watching Bailey and my manager says he loves watching her too. Lol. I love Todd and that made me love him more. He is one of my best friends.

that reminds me of when Michael from VSauce starting naming off prime numbers for three hours, and I watched it for an hour because for some reason it was entertaining

Melancholy and the infinite sadness parents sending their kids who have “behavioral issues” to behavior centers like the ranch on dr Phil but they often face a lot of abuse there and they’re isolated from the outside world including limited contact with parents. Some places will straight up kidnap the kids in the night with permission from the parents.

Interestingly, I do believe that she was telling the truth when she said the reason she dismembered him was so that he wouldn't be able to harm her in the afterlife. Stories and beliefs about things like that are found in many cultures around the world, including Africa.
Yep in ancient Egyptian beliefs you'd not be able to pass over if your parts where missing, it's why it was important to have the organs put into jars for the funeral and burial they had to go all together even though mummified and separated. Hope that makes sense I'm not the best with words
Egypt is mainly Muslim, and also Christian, so I think that was just an excuse she could use since she was from there. People haven’t believed in such mythology for thousands of years over there..
@@baileighrene it's not defense or excuses, it's possible explanations of behaviour. I used to live in Cairo and the city of the dead was an interesting place. It is not just a graveyard like in the west, it looks like an actual city. The graves are built to look like houses, just without running water and electricity (and often without roofs). They are so much like houses that people actually do live in some of them. A huge Friday market is on its edge as well. FGM is VERY common in Egypt, even today, and life in upper Egypt can be extremely challenging. No excuse for what she did, but her early life must have been extremely difficult.
I used to work on some of the historical buildings in "the city of the dead" that district called qarafa in Arabic. FGM was finally considered illegal in Egypt earlier this year.
@@da7389 Pretty sure it's been illegal in Egypt since 2008 or maybe I'm thinking of another African country... Either way these things can only be cured by lifting people out of poverty and awareness campains, wouldn't be surprised if people living in faraway villages barely surviving didn't even hear about changes in laws.
Cannibals became even more fascinating to me after my mum told me, that she got together with my dad because he used to walk her from and to work, when there was an escaped cannibal in their area in the late 80's 😳 His name was Nikolai Dzhumagaliev and he was also known as Metal Fang. Would be great to see a video about him.
Reminds me of a very famous Egyptian myth, what she did with her victim. And given she does come from Egypt... perhaps if she is mentally ill, she actually believed herself when committing this gruesome crime, because she based it on a myth she has probably heard of many times during her childhood. Still and all, terrible. Mondays with Bailey, on the other hand, great as always! I watched this story talked about by someone else, a few months back, but your way of presenting these cases is simply the best. My favorite True Crime RUclipsr, for sure! 🧡
I'm pretty sure she's referring to the myth of Osiris, if you split the body up into pieces they can't go into the afterlife. Osiris' wife/sister isis finds his scattered body parts and puts him back together so he can become the pharaoh of the underworld (It might be a different one that's she's thinking of though!)
Please do a Dark History on FGM. It's sad and I feel like a majority of people are unaware of the practice and how it still happens to this day. Love all your videos :)
My aunt -who I’ve gotten on the Bailey train too- said Bailey should do a Dark History episode about how much football coaches get paid after they’re fired 😂😂😂
Psychopath’s can’t recognize danger, their brains struggle assessing the risk. Her getting up nonchalant after the horse threw her off his back was a huge warning sign.

Interestingly, I do believe that she was telling the truth when she said the reason she dismembered him was so that he wouldn't be able to harm her in the afterlife. Stories and beliefs about things like that are found in many cultures around the world, including Africa.
Especially Egypt, one of the gods did it to another
Yep in ancient Egyptian beliefs you'd not be able to pass over if your parts where missing, it's why it was important to have the organs put into jars for the funeral and burial they had to go all together even though mummified and separated. Hope that makes sense I'm not the best with words

I'd watch that 😳
Wendigoon’s newest video has a segment on him. It’s the first part of the video.
Whaaaaat
Reminds me of a very famous Egyptian myth, what she did with her victim. And given she does come from Egypt... perhaps if she is mentally ill, she actually believed herself when committing this gruesome crime, because she based it on a myth she has probably heard of many times during her childhood. Still and all, terrible.
Mondays with Bailey, on the other hand, great as always! I watched this story talked about by someone else, a few months back, but your way of presenting these cases is simply the best. My favorite True Crime RUclipsr, for sure! 🧡
Do you have any more info on the myth? In so curious!
Yeah I'd love to hear more tok
whats the myth??
What is the myth?
I'm pretty sure she's referring to the myth of Osiris, if you split the body up into pieces they can't go into the afterlife. Osiris' wife/sister isis finds his scattered body parts and puts him back together so he can become the pharaoh of the underworld
(It might be a different one that's she's thinking of though!)
Please do a Dark History on FGM. It's sad and I feel like a majority of people are unaware of the practice and how it still happens to this day. Love all your videos :)
Dr in the Detroit area was arrested for performing fgm this year. Still happening even in the USA.
@@elaineparker1458 that is horrifying.
@@elaineparker1458 what is fgm?
@@alexandrathearmy8464 female genital mutilation. I’m not super informed but I heard this recently on national public radio.
My aunt -who I’ve gotten on the Bailey train too- said Bailey should do a Dark History episode about how much football coaches get paid after they’re fired 😂😂😂
Just a fun fact, I’m in the hospital being induced with my first child and I’m so happy to watch your video !!
Congratulations 👏👏👏
Oh wow, best wishes to you. You can do it, just remember that. Focus on ur breathing and you'll be fine. Super excited for you ❤️
Congratulations and sending you lots of love 🖤 !
Congratulations! All the best to you and your little one 💕
🎉Congrats 🎉
Psychopath’s can’t recognize danger, their brains struggle assessing the risk. Her getting up nonchalant after the horse threw her off his back was a huge warning sign.
Not quite. It's more that they don't alter their perception of something's risk after experiencing a negative outcome (ie aren't susceptible to punishment).
At the rare chance that you read this: PLEASE DO A DARK HISTORY ON FEMALE CIRCUMCISION! It still happens every day on this planet and not enough people know about it! You could really use your platform here to raise awareness 😀
P.S.: I cry every time I watch the movie Desertflower.
As an Egyptian I can tell you that you pronounced her name right 👍👏👏
