  • Jeep's most iconic vehicle, the Wrangler, just received a mid-cycle refresh and it's left many desiring more. Did the "new" 2024 model match the anticipation, or was it over hyped? In this video, we give you a brief overview of our thoughts on the 2024 model, the new features and slight redesigns it has.
The model we feature is a 2024 Wrangler Rubicon X 4xe. With the factory installed Warn winch, Sky One-Touch hardtop and interior creature comforts, this JL comes with one hefty price tag. For some, this is a welcomed gesture as Jeep steps into the modern age, updating the interior. Others who just want a utilitarian built rig, could care less about the updated interior.
It's obvious the Ford Bronco put some pressure on Jeep to further refine the Wrangler. We think this sort of friendly competition is good, as it keeps car companies from being stagnate.
What are your thoughts on the '24 Wrangler?

Really well made jeep going on three months of owning one and I’m very impressed. The only thing I really didn’t expect was the oil regenerative mode. It keeps the jeep stuck in gas engine only mode for a number of hours to clean the oil in the engine. Other than that happening every so often it’s been awesome. Riding the edge of almost too refined. Still love the jk and jeeps are amazing for rock crawling.

The vector of tension from a winch is usually under the horizontal plane of the bumper during self recovery situations. So that forward tilted position actually keeps the winch orientation closer to the angle of tension

      Please expand on your thought.
When a winch mounted to a horizontal plate and you apply load, it is trying to pull the winch off the plate, putting the bolts in sheer. By rotating that winch forward, now the bolts are in both sheer and tension.
      Correct us if we're wrong.

I like the upgrades, especially the full float rear axle. Much more is needed. 1 locking front hubs not the FAD. 360 Cameras, buit in communication. Dana 60 option would be nice.

We gotta agree with you on locking hubs and a D60 option!

@@northridgenation Is it normal on a full battery driving back and forth from home to work about (25miles total) and it went down to 15%?I'm a little concern

I was very disappointed the 2-door Rubicon isn't available with the electric hybrid or turbo options.

As of right now, you can option the 2.0 turbo engine in a 2024 2-door Rubicon and Rubicon X models.

It list that as an option on the webpage where you can build your own but after I put that option on the build the dealer called me and said that is not an option for the 2024 2-door. Only the 3.6 engine.@@northridgenation

Coming from a guy that absolutely LOVES Jeeps (own a 392) .. 70K for this wrangler is incredibly outrageous. I’m sorry, but it is. For ~10k more you get a 392

For 70k it’s a steel ….you get way more for your money. Electric motors,a battery, stealth mode, and you can plug in to 110v in the middle of nowhere ect.
