    I always look forward to your videos.
    I think the problem with a fiddle yard that is in view of the public is that it destroys the illusion of the engine or train having travelled from somewhere and also going somewhere.
    They can see it sitting there and then it moves forward. There is no surprise.
    I took my grandson to see The Tar Works by Mike Perry. He could not stop watching the trains coming out onto the track.
    One idea I had was to keep the engine on the scene, but push the wagons off into short hidden sidings. This works better if it is an industrial scene.

    "Springy " brass straps under the track on both modules? Slide the cassette in and the connection is already there
