Love the idea of this and look forward to seeing more videos of it developing! I'm weighing up whether to do a modulea layout myself something a little smaller along side of my larger project so loved getting some ideas from what you're doing! Will this one that your working on be moveable? Cheers Tom
The aim is that the modules mill allways be seperable and move able from house to house in the future. I'll probably make an updated track plan video soon as the plans have changed quite a bit.
TRACK PLANS !! Why use daft totally unrealistic "toy train set track plans" when there are Dozens of Railway Reference books, of real life station track plans to scale, which usually also give the signalling plan for that station as well, and a few good photos of the real station, signalbox etc. Indeed just for the GWR/WR there was a series of five books of "GWR Station plans" published by OPC (Oxford Publishing Company) hardbound in A4 size with dozens of stations in each book, & a wealth of detail & photos of each station. Available from specialist Railway bookshops up & down the country !!!!
Hi mate, will be adressing this in anew video in the next few months. Have completley re designed the left hand side of the layout to be a much better representation of a mpd by using several books as reference. Having only just started taking the hobby "seriously" I delving deeper and deeper in to prototypical modelling. I'll be sure to make a new planning video when I finalise the last few details.

I've tried searching Amazon for the kind of publication you've mentioned but there is very little on offer there. I would really like to get some good prototypically correct material to help me with my project.
