Happy Saturday, Penny! Hope you and your family are all doing great! I saw plastic surgeon, Dr. Amir Karim's RUclips video regarding jowls and how nothing but plastic surgery would help them and things like RF frequency could make jowls worse over time. It didn't sit right with me. Perhaps his wording should be, 'nothing will permanently help jowls, but surgery'. But I don't see how RF could make jowls worse. I've seen plenty of people talk about face yoga, tightening creams, etc, helping them. Can you help me to understand the science to jowls and what does and does not make them better or worse? As always, thank you so much! My 49 year old peri-menopausal skin wouldn't be hanging on as well without you. 😂❤
Well respectfully I disagree with Dr Kiram. Look in to Agnes RF - it is RF microneedling with a single or triple needle and it is monopolar. The needle goes in very strategically and melts fat (again this is super strategic, not melting fat where we want to keep it) and then tightening the skin over top. It’s the first in-office treatment I’ve seen that I think can make a huge difference for jowls. Worth looking in to!
@@theatre_reviews_101 Hi Aimee! I feel the same regarding Dr. Karam's infomercial like videos. The recent one about jowls seemed very drawnout for him to summarize we could do nothing, but get surgery.
@@PENNSMITHSKINCAREcouldn't agree more. I was so disappointed and upset listening to him lie about how NO devices work & they're all a waste of money...says the doctor promoting his vertical lift and feels threatened by the devices actually making a difference🤦♀️🤦♀️. He lost all credibility and respect after that video. He could just be honest and say yes there are some really great devices, just be sure to do your research. Instead he makes such a deceptive statement how none of them work & his vertical lift is the only answer🤦♀️. So grateful to you for all you do in bringing truth & empowerment to the DIY community❤️🔥❤️💪🏽💯.
The Budget Dermatologist just recently reviewed/recommended the Qure stamper as well. Then you have the Banish that's a stamper that Dr. Davin Lim (Australia) has recommended. And there's also esty Gin Amber who has her own dermarollers and aqua stamper.
Thank you so much for this video! I was looking into the Qure sytem but knew that it was pretty expensive. My wallet thanks you so much! I cant wait to try it!!!❤❤❤
TY Penny for this fabulous tip! I ordered my vessel before Christmas but just did my first treatment just now. It was quick, easy and painless. I used the needleless serum and followed with their peptide night cream as you suggested. I am really looking forward to the results! We are blessed by all that you bring us!❤
Thank you Penny!! I always learn so much from your videos! I love how you break down the ingredients and explain everything! 🫶🏼 You inspired me during the pandemic to revamp my skincare routine and I still watch today 🥰
Penny, you are the best. Genuine and trustworthy. The Qure needle depth is 0.5mm and the one you are recommending is 0.25mm. How often can we do this since it is half the size of Qure needle? Thanks.
I like once a week or every 2 weeks. Honestly at .25 you could use as often as you like- I just don’t think we need to use it daily or anything. Qure says every 2 weeks with their .5 stamp, I do not agree with that frequency at all, it’s too often. 💙
You are the RUclips OG for microneedling Penny! What is your opinion on the deeper stampers like Gin Amber's depth of .5 or 1? 😱 It seems like we're asking for trouble to punch topical products that deep into the dermis, doesn't it? PubMed has an article of skin disasters with mostly vitamin C serum used in conjunction with microneedling. Is .25 cosmetic needling the deepest we should go with any of this stuff? Thank you for adding another video to the best microneedling playlist on RUclips!
@@PENNSMITHSKINCARE Oh yes! I'm so anxious to see it! I've got my microneedling device & have been wondering if you can use a peptide serum with it??? (If you don't go too deep, of course!). Like, what's the diff between using a serum with a stamper or a microneedle? ❤
Qure is also .5 which is medical microneedling and from what I learned from you should not be done more then every 4 weeks and to be very cautious what if any serums are being used at medical depth. To me using the pen in a stamping motion instead of gliding over the serum you want to infuse should do the same thing. Although I'm thinking of trying the stamp you showed with my neuro peptides over my 11 lines a little more frequently to see if it makes them more effective. Thanks for the video...I was also one of the people who wanted your take on this!
A pen is amazing- if you are doing that already you don’t need a stamper. The qure system is .5 (like you said) and I completely disagree with their frequency guidelines (and agree with you). I am mimicking their idea but using my serum and my philosophy on depth + frequency 🙃
@@PENNSMITHSKINCAREI honestly think the only reason dermatologists and so many influencers jumped on board is the high price point gives them a good kickback. They claim it's safer because you use a new cartridge each time which is true but in this case expensive. They completely disregard all other cautions that need to be put in place when using a medical depth microneedle. Most of which I learned from you. My medical microneedleing is a whole process of prep days working up to it and recovery days after being so careful with what I apply to my skin. I'm worried they are being way too willy nilly about medical depth needling which can potentially lead to problems. But yes the cosmetic depth needles you showed and have done videos on in the past are wonderful for more regular use and enhanced serum penitration.
I purchased it Penny!!! I did the one for 261.75. I will have the Nuface, the Myolift and now the Ziip- but i think the Ziip will be the best. I decided to not order the Newa device- I’ll wait. Thank you so much!

Hi Penny, what does the .25 needle do versus the .5? Also, I have the Dr. Penn system. If I use that and just stamp (go up and down and not circular) would that be the same as the stamp in this video? Thank you!
I love your channel. Haven't watched lately but used the Angel Kiss one previously. Lately there's been so much hype on Insta about Qure and a quick search pulled your channel up. On the night of cosmetic needling I would simply skip tret. The night before and the night after are just fine. Lots of people love to cosmetically needle and then use tret but I find it gives me a peel like effect - days of shedding after. 💙
Penny you have the most valuable beauty and skincare content on RUclips, hands down. ❤I will definitely be trying this, as I have the Needleless serum at home. I don’t trust Dr. Maxfield and Dr. Shah, they are nothing but sellouts and product shillers they’re a disgrace to their profession. And they don’t disclose all their affiliations like you do. So I stopped watching their videos entirely, I can’t support that kind of shilling content by health professionals.
I absolutely love this idea because I was just about to buy the Qure subscription. But found this video, the stamper that you recommended is only .25 which means it won’t even puncture the skin am I correct? I have gotten micro needling well over 6 times in the past and was told you need a 1 for it to even penetrate? Suggestions?
.25 definitely punctures the skin- in to the epidermis. .5 gets in to the dermis, 1 Is just further in to the dermis. .25 is nice for product penetration and allows for using many different topicals 🩷
@@PENNSMITHSKINCARE thank you for this information. For someone that struggles with pores do you think this would be a good purchase or do you recommend any other products that work better for my skin?
When you’re stamping shallow it’s pretty flexible- but I still avoid fragrance and essential oils. Alcohol too if I can avoid it. The deeper we needle the more careful we have to be 💙

Love you Penn. Awesome video. Wondering your thoughts about the hair calcium tx? Spelling wrong but i know you mentioned about trying this along top and temple area. This is where I’m seeing loss after losing weight and thyroid issues too.
So I think it’s really good (which is really unfortunate lol). I am noticing my hair improving and I have actually reduced my minoxidil usage to just 3 days a week. I can’t seem to stay more compliant than that with minoxidil because it’s so messy. The calecim is much lighter and easier to use- less gunky. I’m still in the middle of the treatment but I’m encouraged by Calecim. If you think you want to try it wait, I’ll be sharing a HUGE sale for Black Friday where it’ll be deeply discounted 💙

I saw that by The Cure into a wow I have to get this then I saw the price and I’m thinking what’s the difference if we do our micro needling pen with our serums??? thanks for confirming this and doing this video. It’s perfect.
A pen and our own serum is awesome. 💙😊
I was about to ask how many uses you can get out of each vessel and you answered it by the end of the video! Because, of course. 😂 Excited to try this now since the Doctorly-approved one was not happening for that $$.
@@PENNSMITHSKINCARE Thank you Penny for the advice! I'll see if Agnes RF is available in my area.
@@theatre_reviews_101 Hi Aimee! I feel the same regarding Dr. Karam's infomercial like videos. The recent one about jowls seemed very drawnout for him to summarize we could do nothing, but get surgery.
@@michellec6336 I saw that one and agree 100%
You are the best !!! I can’t wait to buy & try this !!! 🩷😘😘
Thank you, so kind! 💙
I am so glad you are still here! Thank You 🥰
You rock, thanks so much for doing this research for us...totally awesome.
Thank you so much for this video🥰 I just found you today and I'm so glad!
I’m so glad you’re here! 💙💙
😍😍
My updated microneedling protocol goes up this month 😁
Only a few updates but I think it’ll be helpful 💙💙
Thank you for being here!
I love this video!! I almost purchased the other system. So much easier! thank you :)
Fantastic, I was checking this out. So glad you covered it
Thank you so much. I was hesitant to spend the monet for Qure or Glov.I'm so glad I found your channel.
This is absolutely amazing! Thank you so much for saving us money and more importantly saving our skin! ❤
Thank you for being here!
I was just about to purchase qure because it’s endorsed by so many dermatologists that I follow on RUclips. I decided to check if you had any thoughts on it just before I placed my order and I’m glad I did!
You are absolutely the best. I have been on the hunt for an alternate( even though I bought Qure) bc I was not convinced about the hype. Thank you 🙏 ❤
Really helpful, Penny! Thank you!
You are the skin care goddess

I havr the dr pen, i will use that with the serum!!😊😊❤
OMGosh!! I was so excited to watch this video to learn that I can do microneedling at home using the products you are suggesting, unfortunately, the hydra-needle stamper device isn't available in Canada ...darn it!!
🌴🌺 Thanks again for all the info. I did bundle and save. I got to use your discount code and saved a ton. Can’t wait to try my products. As an Esthetician I have so many products but you quickly learn what’s good and not so good. Your recommendations give me life and that I can look my best at 53
Some Te even allergic to gold. I had dermatologist do allergy skin testing and reacted to gold. Red spot stayed on my back 6 months!
Wow!!
I just ordered all the Drmtlgy you recommended earlier and can't wait to try this. I'll order the little "tool" now. Thanks so much. By the way I live in Happy Valley and wonder if you'd tell me who you go to for Botox?
Look up Sherwood Aesthetic Medicine- Dr Abraham is incredible!
It is a little drive for you bc it’s Sherwood but she’s worth it 😍
I love your channel! I discovered you a couple of days ago when searching for Black Friday deals and your knowledge inspired me to purchase the current body 2 instead of omnilux mens mask. I have been doing more research and it looks like there’s rumors that the fda is banning at home micro needling pens etc. I would love your input and guidance on this!
Yes, I have heard this as well! That is why I have been holding off on doing any new microneedling content. I guess we just have to wait and see!
Can't a person use the Dr. Pen stamp and apply the Needless serum topically?
Thank you, Penny ! I’ve been wanting to start doing micro needling, but haven’t been able to do it. I love your make-up! what eyeliner are you using? You are so beautiful!
You are so nice!! I’m wearing just one thing- Giorgio Armani liquid shadow in 36m. I use it as a liner and an eyeshadow and it lasts forever 😁
@@PENNSMITHSKINCARE , really? It looks like you are wearing one. There was another eye shadow that you loved ( forgot the name). Do you still use that one?
Hi Penn, do you have any experience using the Korabeauticals V2 Microneedling Pen? Would love a video review on it and how it compares to the Dr Pen range please ❤🙏
Wow this hack is the way to go ❤
LOVE LOVE LOVE your videos! Can you use the needle-less serum with the Dr. Pen devise? Or would you recommend the NIOD Copper peptide serum with the Dr. Pen? I've been using hyaluronic acid when microneedling but feel like I need to step up the treatment with a good serum. Thanks Penny!!
Actually, I read through the comments and saw you mentioned any serum will work. I ordered the needle-less serum. Can’t wait to use it!
I hope you love it!
I actually use the needle less serum before I microcurrent too (in case you do that). It’s a great multi-use serum 😊💙💙
Hi Penny, what does the .25 needle do versus the .5? Also, I have the Dr. Penn system. If I use that and just stamp (go up and down and not circular) would that be the same as the stamp in this video? Thank you!
Thank you Penny. Love your channel.
Ahhh thank you so much! So kind!
Just found your channel, and I’m excited to try your suggestion for at-home microneedling. Also, I love your shirt and necklaces - great style!
Hi Penn! Thanks for the great video. Do I have to stop using Tretinoin a few days before doing this? Many thanks!
Nope, this is shallow needling- just skip tret the night of 💙
Great video!!! Thank you so much for this information!
Thank you for being here!
I love your channel. Haven't watched lately but used the Angel Kiss one previously. Lately there's been so much hype on Insta about Qure and a quick search pulled your channel up. Thanks for a better alternative!!!
BIG QUESTION: How much of the Needle-less serum is good to start with? And can you elaborate what a Double Cleanse is? (I apologize I have not caught this in the other videos)
Such a useful idea!
Hi!! I love your channel and was excited to see this video. I've always wanted to try Micro needling. I clicked on the link to the stamper and its unavailable. Are there any others that you would reccomend? Thank you!!

Super helpful!
Hi Penn... great video like always!
This was so great and helpful!
Can you use this on the upper eyelid for lifting hooded eyes and does it also help the fine lines and wrinkles around the mouth?
I have never done micro needling but the stamper looks like something I can do to myself. I've always heard it's so incredibly helpful for all the signs included in aging ! Can you use this for the body as well?
So around the mouth yes and just below the eyebrow ON the brow bone but no lower than that. 💙💙
Hi penn what a wonderful skincare routine 🎉 😊 xx
Thank you!!
Thank you for this.
This is gold! I followed your advice and just used the vessel you linked - it worked so well! I'm glad I did research and found your video before purchasing Qure.
One question I have is, how long should I wait after stamping before I put on moisturiser?
The Hydra-Needle Stamper is sold out on amazon 😢 what other needle stamper do you recommend?

Thank you for this I am definitely going to try this.. but when would I do my regular nightly treatment with trentinoin. Where would I fit that in and how many nights should I do this?
I saw new microneedling ideas from Penn Smith and clicked right away. I didn’t expect to see mostly a DRMTLGY advertisement.
Sorry Becky, this was me using something I own along with a stamper to make a more affordable option to the Qure system. I thought it was pretty nifty 🤷♀️
By the way….I’m also a Qure affiliate lol
Guess I didn’t advertise them very well. 🤣

The hydra stamper is no longer available in any size. Which other one would you recommend? Thank you for all the research and expert advice!
Thank you Penn for this great video! Can you please tell me how you would fit in the cosmetic needling session if using Tretinoin Cream.
On the night of cosmetic needling I would simply skip tret. The night before and the night after are just fine.
Lots of people love to cosmetically needle and then use tret but I find it gives me a peel like effect - days of shedding after.

Thanks for the video! Do you recommend this in place of cosmetic dermarolling or nanoneedling?

Suggestions?
.25 definitely punctures the skin- in to the epidermis.
.5 gets in to the dermis, 1
Is just further in to the dermis.
.25 is nice for product penetration and allows for using many different topicals 🩷
@@PENNSMITHSKINCARE thank you for this information. For someone that struggles with pores do you think this would be a good purchase or do you recommend any other products that work better for my skin?
Penny, what should we NOT stamp into our skin? Thank you ❤
When you’re stamping shallow it’s pretty flexible- but I still avoid fragrance and essential oils. Alcohol too if I can avoid it.
The deeper we needle the more careful we have to be 💙
Unfortunately the stampers are no longer available on Amazon.
They’ll be back! They’ve gone out of stock a couple times this week 🫤
You are my favorite person on the internet! Always learn so much from you. If I currently do not have the needless serum but instead have copper peptides would that be a good alternative to infuse with? What are some other options besides the needless serum? Ty
What an incredibly nice thing to say!! 🥹 honesty you made my day 💙
Absolutely you can use a copper peptide (or any watery serum you like and own! 😊😊)
Hi Penny love all your skincare tips specially your honesty regarding ingredients and how we can find other alternatives. Once more thank you for creating this amazing content ❤
