Thank you Penny! I see you someone asked if you can please make a comparison of different laser treatments? You have so many lasers that seem to be doing the same thing - Tixel, Fraxel, the one covered in this video. ALSO... which ones can be used on the neck (turkey necks). Some can and some can't because the the thyroid. If I'm going to do one of these I'll only do the procedure that can address my face and neck. Thanks again. I'm highly critical of skincare influencers! I'm in this phase right now where I just don't see any results of many years me taking care of my skin. I'm so disappointed with creams/serums (even with tretinoin and copper peptides) and my currentbody mask is doing nothing to my skin. You are the only influencer I still watch without cringing all the time,I have an impression everyone is trying to fool us into buying expensive products so that they can become rich themselves. I hope you keep doing the good and honest work, really. ❤

Can you please make a comparison of different laser treatments? You have so many lasers that seem to be doing the same thing - Tixel, Fraxel, the one covered in this video. Is the mechanism behind the results the same? Also if you can shed some light on collagen production based on procedure. It seems that most treatments induce collagen production but then you have lasers that seem to improve the surface, Sculptra that adds volume etc. How is the collagen production different based on those treatment - the results are very different but it’s all to do with collagen it seems. It is a cold ablative laser, so certain settings is less heat... but it still generates some heat. That being said...it doesn't go deep into the adipose layer of the skin so shouldn't effect the volume in your face.

She is my trusted resource and kindly answering questions here.
I did also ask the company prior to publishing this video and their answer was (quote)
      My question was:
Is there any risk of facial fat loss with UltraClear?
      Their answer:
No we have had zero cases of facial fat loss with UltraClear laser.
I realize that shouldn’t isn’t couldn’t, I get that. But at this point the science says it shouldn’t and their cases haven’t shown so it would appear it doesn’t affect fat.

Well at about age 57 I started taking serious care of my skin. I had always used to decent skin care, cleansing my skin and using vitamin C and retinol through my 40s and early 50s. But I didn’t do anything else. For those who are saying that all the skin care and devices haven’t helped them I’m really really sorry because they certainly have helped me. Every single one of them has had impact on the texture and quality of my skin, as well as laxity and tone. I am regularly complimented on my skin-which did not happen when I was young and took my skin for granted.
I’m so interested in this because my worst wrinkles are on my neck and around my mouth. And then I have some sunspots on my temple, where the sun used to hit my face through the car window. Thank you for this Penny.!!! I’m very interested.

Would this laser work for people with malsma?
I cannot do lasers because it just creates more pigment in my skin with the heat.

    • @PENNSMITHSKINCARE

We are about 4 months out from case 2 (in the video) and her melasma never flared, it hasn’t rebounded at all. In fact, her skin just continues to improve over time. This is a treatment that can be done on skin with melasma.
There are precautions that are still important to take, like pretreating the skin.
Typically melasma skin will get lighter treatments and more of them versus one big treatment. This helps avoid flares too 🩷🩷

    • @PENNSMITHSKINCARE

Absolutely there is still heat. But not at the point of ablation. The heat is deposited in the dermal layer where it can stimulate collagen.
Tightening isn’t all this laser does. Lifting pigment, improving texture and improving tone also contribute to healthy beautiful skin. Laser is just one way to get there but it’s valuable.
And it’s all temporary. *We* are temporary.

Not 100% related to this video, but I have a question 🙋🏻‍♀️
As a person suffering from a mild case of Ehlers-Danlos, I have just had a facelift, which I am extremely happy with however, my skin is still a bit loose and I’m looking for advice on which in office treatments would be best for me to research in order to keep my skin as tight as possible until the next time I need to go under the knife again to remove more skin. I have most all the at home devices but looking for quarterly treatments to keep my skin in the best possible condition. Thanks a ton in advance. 😊

Hello beautiful Penny! I hope you’re doing well! Thank you so much for showing these impressive results! I went to see a dermatologist and she said I would need two different types of laser… one for sun damage and another for the redness. Plus it might take several times for each to get full results. Of course this would be very expensive and I just can’t afford it! I have spent so much money over the years on creams, serums and potions that haven’t worked that I could have used that money for the lasers by now or a new face lol.. Have a fabulous week ❤

As always, thank you so much for being a trust worthy source of innovation. Really appreciate your quality content. Would this be more effective than C02 laser that requires light anesthesia by chance please? Thank you so much for providing information about a laser that is safe for all skin types and the link to check for providers in your area. I am Skin Type V and have been so hesitant to get any laser procedures for fear of skin damage. I looked up providers in the Atlanta,GA area and found ONLY one that is about 30mins from me. He also had a RUclips channel showing him administratering the treatment to patients with my skin type! I am so very excited to go for a consultation regarding this procedure! Why oh why do they make the laser so small that the patient must endure hit after hit 1/2” to an inch at a time and it HURTS, topical numbing doesn’t do much for me. WHY NOT MAKE THEM AT LEAST TWICE as big so more surface area can be done at a time.

You could try IPL…find a provider who would test a spot for you…I noticed a big difference within 2 treatments…I have now had 5 treatments over the past year & mine is reduced by 75%. But you have to be stealthy about sunscreen as the melasma will darken with sun exposure. Also, have you tried Ambi cream?

If I go for extreme one, I might end up looking back in my 30’s , cause I am not too bad yet, but with hormones depleting, and I just chose not to use hormone therapies, this would be the answer. I was planning to get maybe clear and brilliant laser and ez prf gel treatment, but if I can financially , I think this the place to start, and then add others🤔 ? Have a blessed day🙏❤️
