Be careful with this procedure! I’ve done it specifically for my eyes and it made my under eye wrinkles Worse! Noticeably worse wrinkles came back after a few months. Watch Dr Rajani - he talks in depth about fat loss under your eyes with heat treatments. You want to know where to do a heat treatment and where not to. Tixel works for the face in other areas / I’d be weary on the eyes. Plus side note, they zap your very close to your eyes and it made me very nervous.
True. Dr ràjani is expert on that
I always wait to hear about long term effects on facial fat loss before I get excited about ANYTHING now.
What do you recommend for under eyes wrinkles?
F
@cristinacarrasco5457 being reborn as a baby again lol. For real though, I think lower bleph + fat transfer gives the best results based on what I've seen and extensive anecdotal research
Off topic but if anyone is thinking about surgery, I had an upper bleph done 7 years ago (plus lower transconjunctival bleph w/skin pinch) & at 73 it STILL looks as good as it did back then. Of course it took about 4 weeks to fully heal, but was so worth it. I haven’t used any eye creams or serums consistently either.😊 But do find a board certified PS with bleep experience! Actually, the upper bleph is one of the easiest things for an experienced plastic surgeon to do!
I had the same done. Took about a month to heal. 10 years later I'm almost back to the same....

Nancy, thank you for agreeing to share your incredible results with us. Penn, thank you for being her articulate spokesperson. One thing I’d like to add is I’ve been lately doing the Platinum Skincare 7%-13% TCA on the eye area & finding that it’s tightening my skin there. My jowls & neck however are a different story & being 62 years old, I think I might pursue Tixel in those areas. But give the TCA peel in the eyelid & under eye a go. I’m pleased with my results. Think I’ll continue doing that monthly
I agree about Platinum Skincare TCA under the eyes! I finished the 7% and will start using 13% monthly.
I use the TCA on my lids and under eyes and it’s helped a lot. I also had a Halo laser treatment for melasma that also really helped my eyelids.
Grossly Overpriced. No thanks.
@@cararichman1729how did that help
Your eyelids, did it tighten and lift a bit or correct the color?
I have been doing TCA chemical peels since I was 35, it has kept my face skin so nice. So much so, that I had to start doing my arms and legs to match the difference.
Hi. Very interesting! I am almost 54 and have very hooded eyelids. My question is, how long do the results last and how often would you need to have a treatment after the initial 3-4 to keep up with the results? Thank you.
I had three plasma, fibroblast treatments on my upper eyes, and received the same results for a lot less money. I have kept up the results by medically microneedling my upper eyelid once a month using a .05 derma roller then immediately applying .01% tretinoin.
I now use the NIRA laser instead and I accomplish the same results that I did using the derma roller once a month.
This sounds really good. Would you be so kind and tell me what you did exactly. Would love to try. Many thanks in advance.
@@DeeDee-pt8tb You can Google Plasma fibroblast To learn more about it and to see the results of others who have had this procedure done. It is extremely important that you find someone very experienced. Isa of Isa Skin Care in Tampa did all three of my procedures. If you live in Florida, I would highly recommend her. It is well worth the money and the time.
So you're the one person the Nira worked for? I returned it as no one seemed to see one bit of difference I hope for your sake it works but now I wonder if I should have kept it!
@@DeeDee-pt8tbplasma around the eyes is really awesome, my mom she is 76 now and I’m. 53, and both our eyes were done, 7-8 years ago and really all wrinkles are gone. Surgery will end up in a scar, it’s not noticeable, plexr doesn’t my mom had plexr around the mouth which was not working, until she learned she had to use fillers first and then plexr, and that together did work and she had deep wrinkles. The only thing what’s still hard is the sort of sagging next to your mouth, to chin area. Still looking for a solution for that
@@morningmayan. I returned it too. Mine kept giving me a horrible jolt out of nowhere. I think it was defective
WOW... That's fantastic!!! Do you know if it could be used on the neck? Specifically the turkey neck area. Most treatments cannot be used in that area because of the Thyroid. Thanks again Penn you are always so informative and real. 🥰
It can because it is not "electric" or anything. It is just heat. So it won't affect the thyroid.
@@scubadooboo Thank you😊
This is fascinating and I will definitely look into it. After cataract surgery, my eyelids didn’t bounce back and I had to have eyelid lifting surgery. My question is: after the 4 sessions Nancy had, how often does she need to go and get more? Again Penny thank you for some wonderful information 😍
I'm 43 and completed my third session of Tixel a few weeks ago. My primary concern was hyperpigmentation that has been very difficult for me to get rid of. I can't use laser because the heat exasperates the pigment and it rebounds worse than prior to the laser treatments I've had in the past. I've been happy with the results. My practitioner uses Tixel as a method for product delivery. Immediately following treatment I roll a vial of growth factors over my skin until it is all gone. The skin is most open 5 hours following treatment. My brown spots are much lighter and my overall skin texture is better and tighter. It was recommended to have 5 treatments 4 weeks apart and one per year after for maintenance. This device doesn't melt face fat, it's too superficial for that. I can wear make-up the day after and feel fine going out.
Thank you so much for sharing your results! 😍
Wow that is an amazing result she's had. I'm curious about fat pads being diminished perhaps due to the heat in the procedure. Although your friend showed no sign whatsoever of that having happened. I do wonder for those of us who have highly sensitive body's if we would see the same great results. If only we would know in advance how we'd respond😂 that would be so great😅
Painful? Fat loss?
Thank you, Pen! You are my trusted source for all skin stuff!❤
@andreapulver2127, I'm also curious as to whether this treatment can cause fat loss, given that heat is the primary component.
Right I am right there with you, it looks a lot like Morpheus 8 and they are finding that after time it caused terrible sagging because it melted the fact. Never mind the pain...the worst experience of my life.
Of course fat loss will happen after such heat!
Hi all, so this is nothing like morpheus8. With RF microneedling the heat (RF) is being delivered several millimeters in to the skin with needles. This is stamping the skin with a plate and those pyramids do breakthrough the skin but very superficially. The heat doesn’t reach the subcutaneous layer.
Also, this isn’t a brand new treatment. This has been in the UK for 7+ years.
I definitely understand the concern, and I’m going to dig in farther (I asked but I am going to ask again and get even more concrete evidence that there isn’t fat loss).
Also, the exposure time to the heat is minimal (each “stamp” is very very fast).
All this said, if you talk to a Dr about this, quiz them on fat loss. It’s a worthy concern with any treatment 🩷
thank you!

I have had 2 Tixel treatments done on my face (not eyelids unfortunately) at Skin Laundry and my pores and skin texture have improved by at least 50%. Having my third next week and am adding neck and chest!
that's so cool to hear - my skin texture has improved as well - although I do so many things I wasn't sure how much was Tixel!!
I’m having my 1st next week- full face and eyelids. What level did you have and how painful was it for you? Thank you!

Hi Penn!😊❤ Thank you for keeping us up to date on these exciting new procedures that deliver great results! Nancy is so pretty in the before as well but can totally see the beautiful lift! ❤ would you ever consider doing a video that outlines the differences between this procedure and Morpheus/Scarlet/Agnes laser? The heat is the same variable-is it similar temperature? Is there a risk of fat loss? I had RF scarlet 2x and feel like it may have reduced fat in my face. Thanks so much for all the great information you provide and considering these questions. 😘❤️
How long does it last? I have never heard of this. U r awesome! Thank you

@@kathleen9456I totally agree!
You guys!!!
That’s so nice!!
Let me tell you something funny….this was filmed in an Airbnb. That Airbnb had very very poor bathroom lighting and I ended up (on this day that I filmed) with probably TWICE the amount of makeup I normally wear. Then, I attached my camera RIGHT to the window and filmed (meaning I sat right in the beautiful light of outside). These 2 factors really lend to a better than real life look.
Thank you though 😊😊 really nice of you 🩷🩷
That is exactly what i was thinking the entire time too! Beautiful
Exactly! I agree with all of you. I have watched many of Penny's videos, and have always thought she was very beautiful but this one just screams exclamation beautiful. Her eyes are a surreal blue in this video
If you continue to get teatments... like 4, 5, 6, and more treatments, will you continue to get better results, or are there a number of treatments where the improvements stop?
Or possibly after four treatments can it cause harm like fat loss?
It does not cause fat loss at all. Quite the opposite. I've had four treatments plus tixel with exosomes on my eyes. An initial course of 4 treatments is the best. Then once a year. @@ams70
This treatment definitely made a difference. I am curious as to how long it will last as compared to a blepharoplasty. Also, I can't help but notice what beautiful bright blue eyes you have! Do you use an eyebrow serum? They look nice and full.
Oh you are so nice!
I was sitting in front a huge windows so that light makes my eyes look brighter ☺️
My brows are actually pathetic- I had them micro shaded a few years ago so they LOOK like I have more eyebrows than I do lol
Hi! Can anyone explain the difference between this and fraxel type procedures?
Nancy’s results are amazing and Very exciting. It seems very similar to fibroblasting but maybe without the possible scarring.
How did I not see this video 2 mos ago when it posted? This is exactly what I'm looking for! I'm okay with my upper eyelids but under my eyes is where the real crinkly skin is on full display. Not nice looking!

This looks really interesting Penny! Couple of questions...did Nancy have the Glow or the Intensive? What is the pain factor. Numbing prior? And is it available in the U.S ?
having had it, it is like sunburn after the procedure - it's not particularly pleasant to be honest, but the pain subsides very quickly indeed.
Thanks for replying Rebecca! Did you have numbing cream? Are you happy with your results?
Hi Carol,
Nancy had the super intense but Jo did dial it down around her eyes (but it was at least still intense, no glow).
She did numb beforehand for 45-60 minutes.
Pass # 1 was a 2/10 pain level and pass #2 was 5/10 according to Nancy.
She thought the whole thing was completely tolerable 🩷
Thanks Penny...I hope this gets more popular as it seems like a really worthwhile treatment!
I would be very careful about these heat treatments, esp with eye tissue. It usually isn't until clients start complaining about fat loss or other issues that these manufacturers modify their claims or promises. Just look at Ultherapy, Vivace, etc. It took a number of years before practitioners began to question the efficacy of these devices. Same with Ellacor, jury it still waaaay out whether it does more harm than good. I'm not denigrating Tixel's potential but I've learned not to jump at the newest bauble in the box.
Thank you for this info. Nancy is a beautiful woman. Your eyes are just mesmerizing, Penn!
I want this SO BAD ! Her improvement is amazing! ❤
thank you!!
The results are very very good but it realy hurts for days and a few weeks down time is needed
Penny, how are your eyes so beautifully sparkling? ❤
Penny-how is Tixel different from Fraxel? It seems pretty similar, also in terms of down time?
Also, for those of us who are Redheads (natural ones), just like we have different pain thresholds and often need more novocain or lidocaine to numb up at the dentist office or other places, we also have a longer downtime for healing fully from procedures like this. It’s just something for people to be aware of.
That’s a great point! My mom is a redhead (now a beautiful beige blonde) and her pain threshold is definitely less than mine. I need to remember this!

Yessss!!! Agnes RF works for bags. I’ll be reporting on that early in the new year💙
Penny, I’ve been watching your videos for years now, you are one of the few that I trust and go to for skin care advice, I’ve had hooded eyelids forever, I wonder how long is it going to take before we have some kind of home gadget like tixel or that gives you similar results, I hope we don’t have to wait too long since going to a clinic sometimes isn’t affordable. Thank you for bringing us this kind of content, is really appreciated! And you look beautiful!!!!!!

I haven’t read all of the questions, so please excuse me if this is a repeat…but how is this for puffy eye bags in the lower eye area? Thank you
WOW, Amazing results!! Thank you Penn. By the way you look amazing.
Hi Penn, I remember when you first started on RUclips. You've come such a long way. Penn what is the best treatment for sagging lower face and neck for a 62 year old? I have great skin everywhere EXCEPT for my jowls and really horrible neck.
Did u see her latest video on UltraClear?
Thanks to Nancy for sharing and thank you Penny for introducing this.
Hi, @pennsmithskincare, does the mobile eye lid get treated as well or just the upper hooded part?
I have this tixel device at home. Brand new (used once on face legs and arms). It's an alibaba version but exact same machine. Works well. Only reason why I am not interested in keeping it is because I think it requires the skills of an expert to use. I burned myself in a couple of areas because I did not hold the tip 100% perpendicular to the skin. Also I set the setting too high. But I wish I could keep using it.
Penny, this was freaking amazing! This is a game changer for those of us who are not candidates for surgery. I’m starting my search now. Thank you for sharing this with the community. 🎉🎉🎉 Nancy is beautiful and was kind to share her experience. 😊

Top up once a year after an initial course of 3 or 4
Very interesting. I never heard of this procedure before. I’m wondering if it’s relatively new. Pretty amazing results.
Oh, girl, hold my beer! I had Sculptra injections that bruised me like a loser in a cage fight. None of the “remedies” work for me, and I have not found the magic solution for makeup. Those sculptra bruises are no joke. One thing that might help is a quick laser treatment. If the provider who does your sculptra has laser they could zap you and the bruise will be gone in 24 hours (although it often leaves a bit of dry skin behind). 🩷🩷
Has anyone tried using the homeopathic remedy for bruising? Arnica
@@angela776 yes. Both oral and topical. Neither works for me.
The sculptra injections bruised you or the massaging bruised you? For me, the 5/5 caused massive bruising where my whole face was 1 large bruise. That was the 1st time. The next 5x, I was told to only do 2x a day for a minute. I had no bruising. 😊

This looks fantastic! ❤ I’m a person with diagnosed dry eye , meibomian glad dysfunction. I’m wondering if this would help or harm with regards to the glands in our eye lids. Has anything been mentioned about this and how/if it affects for dry eye?
I think this would be a good thing to ask your doctor - but from my perspective as a patient, the Tixel device really didn't get too close to my actual eyes so I'd be surprised if there was a contraindication
My eye doctor uses IPL for dry eye.
What an amazing outcome, this procedure is def one to watch for. My only concern atm is about hyperpigmentation. Because it uses such high heat, is there a more than usual chance of developing dark spots like after a bad sunburn? For me, after a couple bad forehead sunburns i am now combating some massive patches of hyp-pig. Many rounds of 20% tca have showed wonderful results but i still have a ways to go. Tretinoin, all the lovely actives . It's a constant up hill battle. Im almost 44 (wow that';s the first time i've said that aloud!! i'm crying just a little inside ) I spent a life time in the sun, i have a lot of damage to repair and this procedure gives me high hopes for the future. Thank you for always bringing the best info in an easy to consume format. I learn so much from you always.
It treats hyperpigmentation, does not cause it!

Wow that models eyes was amazing. I did a full eye lift it was painful. I may do a treatment. My eyes are starting to look a little loose again. I would like to do a full face. Happy Holidays Miss Molly. P S. Always reapply sunscreen during the day if you are prone to hyperpigmentation.Their are some really nice sunscreens out there. Maintenance treatments are 1x a year. 😊
How long between treatments? Amazing results! And PS - love the Cringe Meter. So relatable!
I think I had 2 months between first and second and about six weeks between second and third
Yep tried this it was fab on face but I couldn't handle the eyes. It felt like a hot poker coming at my eye ball and could let her finish. Now il be honest it hurts, even with the numbing cream and the down time is a good few weeks but yes for face but the eyes was toooooooo much!
How does this differ from micro needling with heat?
How does this compare to fractionated CO2 treatments?
It looks to me like it is very comparable, but less expensive? How about pain level during treatment at super intense?
I agree that fractional CO2 can work on eyelids as well. I do think this is a lower downtime option and it is a little less expensive. As far as the pain level, Nancy said that it was about a two out of 10 on the first pass, and then about a five out of 10 on the second pass. She did have topical numbing, and I imagine that by the time the second pass happened, the numbing had worn off a little bit more. She said that in total it is a very tolerable treatment. The company does say no numbing needed, but I definitely think topical numbing is a good idea. I mean why torture yourself lol.
I would like to thank Nancy for sharing her results! It looks Amazing!!!

What about fat pads? According to some Dr.s , extreme heat can reduce fat pads dramatically.
Yes! You’re right. I asked about fat pads several times and searched for language around fat (while researching). I was told it does not reach the fat layer (or even close) and because of the extremely short exposure time to the heat the skin is able to “cool” itself.
I understand this concern (especially around the eyes) so I asked a few times and was told it does not affect fat. Nancy experienced no fat loss either.
I would say though,it would be a great question to ask in a consult anyway. 🩷🩷
I want this done! Amazing results and I'm not usually easily impressed. ❤
Goodness girl your blue eyes are glowing how did that happen?:)))
Looking great aging backwards. Your nasolabial folds are much lifted. What did you do? This is my problem area as well.
Thank you for great video ❤
I had something called Agnes RF … it melts fat and tightens skin. I’ll do content on it in the early new year 😊
It’s a very targeted treatment (not a full face treatment obviously). Great for nasolabial folds, jowls, eye bags, malar bags….really cool. 🩷
And thank you 🩷
@@PENNSMITHSKINCARE ah great results. Waiting for the detailed video :)
Thanks for replying. X
Thank you so much for sharing this and thank you to Nancy for sharing her results. This is something I am totally researching in my area because I need this badly because as you said the eye area is really hard to change unless you have surgery and as you know most of us don’t want to have surgery if we don’t have to. Again thank you to you and Nancy happy holidays, happy new year!!
Thank you Wendi!! I'm so stinking glad I did this. Low downtime, reasonable cost. And having looked at older photos recently, my eyes are better than they were even 15 years ago when my kids were little. So pleased
That is incredible results, I'm looking for a provider in my area as we speak. This is something I'm ready to do!!@@nancypreston7966
I'm getting ready to have this treatment next week. I was wondering if Le Mieux's EGF-DNA Growth Factor Serum would be a great option post treatment? I also already have the Reviv Ultimate Serum (ordered from one of your links). Wondering which would be best or maybe use both for post treatment? If I order Le Mieux's product do you have a link/code for their website? I prefer to order directly from the company and not Amazon. Thanks so much Penny!
I don’t have a link to Le Mieux but that is a great product! It would be beautiful post treatment 😍
Your skin looks amazing ❤
Thank you! I sat in front of a gorgeously huge window in this airbb AND poor lighting in the bathroom meant I put on too much makeup 🤣 so there’s that 😅
Thank you so much for sharing everything! Nancy is beautiful by the way but definitely more youthful after.
She is beauriful
Nancy looks amazing! Will the results last as long s blepharoplasty? Does she have to get maintenance sessions done after this and if so about how often?
The treatment I filmed was her first maintenance treatment. She plans to do one a year.
It’s hard to say how it’ll last- it’s collagen and we’re still aging so it’s always going to be an uphill battle. Bleph removes the skin altogether so my guess is it would “last” longer but again, even after bleph we are aging so the remaining eyelid skin will age with us.
I’ll keep you posted on how Nancy feels it’s going over the next few years 🩷
So red light therapy would be good for this too?
I've ended up getting lots of thread veins on my face after having any treatments with heat. Does this also create thread veins or can it evaporate them? Also I had fat loss after morpheus and my skin got worse. Concerned about any treatments with heat now. Also how does it compare to SOFWAVE?
