THIS IS NOT A SPONSORED VIDEO.
I (nor Nancy) receive nothing if you book an Ellacor treatment, there is no affiliate relationship with the doctor's offices and we each paid for our treatments (in full) ourselves. We received no discounts for the treatments and we were not told what to say etc.. Feel free to mention that you saw my video and I recommended you, as they were wonderful offices and I would love them to know that I am recommending people their way (but again, I get no monetary kick back, no discounts in the future ... nothing).
I had my treatments in 2 different offices:
1st treatment was at the Aesthetic Centers in Newport Beach, California plasticsurgerycal.com/ellacor...
My treatment was performed by Dr Agha (board certified plastic surgeon) and
Chelsea Zysek (Board Certified Physician Assistant)
This was a beautiful office with an incredibly kind staff. Both Dr Agha and Chelsea (PA-C) were wonderful. From the initial correspondence to now, Chelsea really goes above and beyond with patient care.
I initially chose this office because I have family that lives in Newport Beach and could plan a visit around the treatment.
My second treatment (and both of Nancy's) was at Miami Dermatology and Laser with Dr Jill Waibel MD
    www.miamidermlaser.com/dermat...
Dr Waibel is world renowned and has worked on Ellacor since its inception. Dr Waibel also performed my laser treatment (was several months after my second ellacor) which was absolutely amazing at clearing pigment. I paid for that treatment as well. Miami Dermatology and Laser is about as high tech as you can get....At the time of my laser treatment they had some 80+ lasers on hand!! Dr Waibel is a true pioneer and in my opinion wizard!

For some people you do see the small scars and they can be pretty noticeable in certain lighting. Also the coring can take part of a pore and still leave the oil producing part behind. (not all pores are straight, in fact most are at an angle). With no pore to release the oil it can cause blockages under the skin. I've seen this happen to patients in our office.

What do the scars look like? Are they like large pores? Indented? Tiny Dark points? This could just be hyperpigmentation or redness that will fade within 1-2 years just like normal scars.

This is INCREDIBLY helpful for those of us who obsess over every new modality. WHO ME?? 😬🙋🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ Advice like tempering our expectations as well as instructing as to address pre-care (like using a pigment inhibitor beforehand for example) and who this treatment is right for is priceless (and money-saving!) so thank you, as always Penny.
On another note, your discussion about budget is something I remind myself of often. Red light therapy is a great example…add on red light therapy to a facial a few times and you could own one yourself! And when I took a look at how much microneedling treatments were, it made more sense for me to buy my own Dr. Pen and all the paraphernalia so I could do it (safely and not too deeply!) at home. (Still dying for your updated MN protocol, Penn!) I also can’t wait for your review on the Lyma laser bc again, buying that once (as pricey as it is) and having it for years is way cheaper than going to the Derm or MedSpa to get laser treatments done over the course of those same years. 🥰🤗

Penny, as always very informative. I had not heard of this procedure, sounds very promising. I just had a procedure called Face Tite. It is minimally invasive facial contouring. It is just 1 treatment, done with local and liticane. It is done with radio frequency. It is for the lower face and neck. It was relatively pain less and recovery takes about 2 weeks tops, or was for me. I had a full facelift many years ago, $20,000. and felt this was a great way to rejuvenate myself. I saw great results in just a couple of days.

Well, Nancy looks fantastic. You always look beautiful to me Penny and as you know, you weren’t going into that because you had direct concern so it was harder to see the difference for sure. That said, I agreed with your assessments and I have a feeling that maybe it will be a situation of tightening that skin so it takes longer to lose any laxity. I so appreciate you hang in on this and it’s some thing I’ve really been looking into. I follow anesthetics doctor in Newport Beach named Stefanie who spoke about this procedure and has demonstrated the technology on her Instagram. I have also heard that a lot of the results depend on the person/doctor performing the procedure. If not done correctly, sometimes that little skin columns that are supposed to be sucked out remain in the skin, which in turn makes it more of a microneedling treatment, rather than the true Ellacor.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience on this!

I commented on the Facebook post but I have had this done several times. The most recent was with the new machine and head for weeks ago and I have another session scheduled in two weeks. I was initially one of the test subjects when it was called cytrellis. I’ve got stories about that one because it did not work well. My last treatment four weeks ago with the new device showed some decent results however, I had him focus on my neck. The same area as your friend under the neck. Previously when I had it done on my cheeks I really didn’t notice that much of a difference, but then again, the gun was still in its experimental phase and having it operate correctly is crucial..

Thank you, I'm excited to learn about this new technology and hear about this option. I love that it's heatless. That's wonderful that Nancy got some results that she was seeking and I would agree her results are significant and look beautiful. Penny, even though your results were subtle, I wonder if it was more preventive for you because the rest of your skincare regimen is the same and you do NOT look 1 year older even with hormonal changes etc. Also maybe I'm imagining it or it's a difference in your smiles in before/after pics but your skin Looks visually thicker and juicier and cheeks look fuller for both you and Nancy, even though procedure involved only the lower face. Honestly I have been thinking that your skin looks tighter and younger this past year in videos and I attributed it to maybe downstream results after post-op surgical swelling settling...but I didn't realize that was 2 years ago already. So I'm wondering if I am seeing results in your moving face that would not be noticeable in still pictures. Either way I really think your skin is looking better than ever lately!

Love your honest review. Like your friend I’m turning 56 tomorrow but I always have good skin. Most people are shocked when I revealed my age to them. I saw this from another RUclipsr but she had tons of work done to her face and she promotes skincare that she’s selling from her company. Nothing wrong with that, but for me I wouldn’t just buy products from what she promotes because of the work she did to her face. I rather buy from someone who has not done any work to their face with fillers and Botox. Don’t get me wrong, this is just me and my opinion. I’ve always taken care of my skin since I was younger. I always believe prevention is better than trying to fix it. Thank you for this video and giving us an insight of this procedure. I might do it when I see visible more pronounced wrinkles on my skin. I used to get micro penning every month for a little over a year and my skin was pretty amazing but whatever effects I got from it wore off not long after stopping. I suspect I just had constant edema plumping up my skin and filling in my acne scars. Not sure it actually induced any collagen production in the long run 🤷🏻‍♂️

Thanks so much for your information. Ive seen videos for ellacore. I considered having it done but wanted to see more results. Im 72 years old. I started having procedures maybe six years ago. Ive had pdo threads done along with RF microneedling. At least 3 over the last 6 yrs. The last one done by the same doctor barely made a difference, however the previous procedures that I had, I was happy with. I look back on some of my pictures and over all I've become yonger looking, especially after having Morpheus8 done which was about 4 months back. My neck is ok but my expectations were not met. Its better but had hoped it would tighten up as it did previously from the RF Microneedling I had done over the last 3 yrs. Im thinking my age has something to do with it. So..perhaps I'll take a look at Ellacore again.

I just watched another video yesterday on this procedure and she was happy with just one treatment plus she was a little younger than both you and your friend, it was interesting to get your opinion on this Penne, I don’t think it’s something that’s available here in Australia 🇦🇺 but I’m not sure because I haven’t heard of it before, plus the cost would probably be almost double of what you paid for it, the photos you shared from the website were from older women and I was with the understanding that it’s best for people around your age and younger for mainly prevention, I’m @63 years old and I won’t ever have a facelift not even if someone paid for it, you see so many horror stories from people that have had a facelift and I’m not prepared to go down that rabbit hole, Thank You for sharing your experience with this procedure and your friend also, Taking One for the Team was a Big Deal especially this one. The other RUclipsr said the same thing about the down time, it’s misleading for those wanting it done from the website. I couldn’t notice a difference between your before and after photos But I could notice the difference in the jawline of your friends before and after, I’m wondering what it would of been like with only one treatment. Take Care from Australia 🇦🇺💖💖

Hi! I’m wondering who the other person you watched was as I’m a little younger than Penn and my doc (Dr. Waibel who she mentions did both of Nancy’s) recommended this for me. I’d love to see someone my age review it. Thank you!

@@thevanessarivera ….I’m sorry but it was so long ago that I don’t remember who the other RUclipsr was, you could type in the procedure and there should be other RUclipsrs there that have given their opinion on it, I haven’t even watched the video again to even know what Penne was having done, I’m old and have a mushy brain and don’t often remember what I watched the other day let alone 8 months ago….Sorry I can’t help you. Hope you find a younger person..Cheers 😊🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🩷🩷

Penn, if you can find a deal on Ultherapy, I would suggest that. About a year out, my skin is super tight. It really did regenerate and tighten my skin, and I did it as a proactive measure at age 37. I was told I’d see full results at 6 months but I saw the full result at 1 year.

I definately see this process working for women in their late 50's women like me in their early 40's my skin is still tight & yes I am starting to see a little lower jaw skin laxity but not to the point of this type of treatment looks to painful... I think I would rather just take the plunge & do the facelift & I definitely will be consulting with Dr. Amir Karam his patients have beautiful results & look so natural... the man knows what he is doing . He just says ladies just get the lift it will save you 10yrs or even more depending on your age & how good you take care of yourself. I worry about marks on face later & with my sensitive excema skin this is a NO .

Interesting. It looks like a procedure for women in their late 50s, 60s, 70s as it seems to impact wrinkles and looseness in THEIR befores and afters. I did see a very slight difference in your pics. More in Nancy's, where she did get some tightening and more contour to her face. The price is decent, too. In line with the cost of laser treatments. I like seeing options like this because I personally will never get a facelift -- something about those scars along the ears. Even though people say eventually you can't see them, you really can. Uh oh, just read that Ellacor isn't for areas that are prone to solar keratosis. Hmmm.

Penn, I checked with a Maryland provider… starting price is $3k for 1 treatment!!! My first issue is… it doesn’t address the underlying tissues. So any extra lax muscles, descending fat… may stretch out the skin again. It’s just another one of those semi quick fixes. Also… you look INCREDIBLE for 49! Seriously, falling off my chair, but a side note… your cellular age is probably much younger. Most likely you have used Retin A so your skin behaves as a 33 year old. I think you may appreciate more of a preserving effect over the next 5-7 years.
I’d do it if I could get it 1/2 off. But not at $2-$3k. $1500 max

The first photo on the left looks amazing. I mean no disrespect and you are a hero of mine. I think you are absolutely gorgeous! Penn, I’m 55 years old and have been following your channel and skin care recommendations for a while. I just became aware of the Morpheus8 and utherphy recently and looked back at your video to find your Ellacor review. I’m shocked by seeing the trauma to your skin, which really looks beautiful. I’m seeing sagging as I’m in process of losing a good amount of weight. I’ve incorporated the ZIIP and skincare and never thought about doing something as invasive as a facelift. I kind of think you earn your changes and no one I know personally has had one. That said, I’m trying to explore what I can do to tighten up my face, jowls as well improve the texture. Some of the skincare you recommended is helping with that. I don’t know if you have any additional advice as what I should consider. I have heard you mention micro needling which again was sure that would work and what is involved. I’m going to try doing red light, again thought might help with collagen and might tighten. I’ve never before the last 3 months or so have put so much into care for my skin, other than wash occasional moisturizer but would breakout in my younger years and spf occasionally. Now I’m all of it, drmtgy vit c, needless serum, retinol, hydra fader, night peptide cream, water cream, eye cream spf min 46-50. Just into dermelect sleep serum with moisturizer after. Even stratia yellow barrier cream after morning and night. I’m tired just typing it all… lol. I do really see better texture than I ever have but wonder if I’m fighting a downhill battle.
