By the time this build is done the owner might aswel of just bought a used 911 turbo 🤣🤣 Some right parts gone into it, I'm still running stock discs and pads on my stage 3 R but its primarily a fast road build. Top work as usual
Great build, but with these calipers on the front, is the master cilinder sufficient enough? Iow doesn't the pedal feel soft with moving more fluid? And what about brake balance? Btw any benefits for this calipers instead of lets say Z17/Z18 Cayenne one's?
This really is the ultimate build. Brake disks that weigh half as much across the front axle - brilliant! I thought I might get some. Just had a quick look at the price!! Not sure Santa can run to these this year.
It would be possible to upgrade it to something but keeping the brake balance is key and installing different callipers can upset the brake balance and result in poor pedal feel. Bigger isn't always better!
Let's not forget that the R rear electric motorized calipers integrate with the electric parking brake, hill hold assist, dynamic cruise control...if you do not replace the stock rear calipers with something 100% plug and play, you are opening yourself up to a host feature deletes at best, host of bugs and brake imbalance f/r at worst.
Hi is possible installing akebono 6 pistons from rsq3 or audì s5 b9 without spacers? I think is a cheaper solution what do you think about this? Thanks best regards and good work!
Sure is!! Rear stock discs work with DS2500s, we ran this setup on our in-house track MK7R but the rear discs give even more performance and improve the aesthetics too.
This build is bonkers. Carbon ceramics are insane!! Love it!!
Thanks!! It is WILD!
I'll be in contact when my MK8 GTI Clubsport is out of warranty in a few months. Love the videos and I'm looking forward to upgrading my car!
Looking forward to talking soon Alex and thanks for the kind words!
Quality of work on the car is amazing and the video quality is amazing too ! Good work lads 👌🏻
Thank you for watching and your kind words!
Did it need any spacers due to using the stock rims? And what size spacers?
They are beasts! Beast price as well :o
Thank you!!

That’s a crazy build. Hope I had the budget to send it that hard ahah
It sure is WILD!
Crazy brakes at the front 🥵

These are designed to work with the OE master cylinder and ABS system
SICK, Love it! :)
Thanks for watching!
@@RegalAutosport Always :)
Still waiting the review - test drive of the golf 8 R with the Chipbox from Racechip!!😊
We are planning to shoot this next week once Ash is back from Europe 👌

Thanks Steve! The carbon ceramics really are incredible for improving the brake performance and driving dynamics!
@@RegalAutosport Can they be used with any good quality calipers?
Hello, nice build just intersted what spacers used for clearance ? Thx 10mm?
Thanks for the kind words! We haven't finalised the spacer specs as of yet.
Question. Surely there is an option to upgrade the rear calipers to say, something that is on the rear of an RS4 or something similar?

Not sure, we have not performed this procedure
Ceramic brakes can generate a lot of heat. Is there anything that needs to be protected around the front brakes? Awesome build btw!
They sure can however RacingLine have extensively tested these and they work with the factory cooling.
This is going to be a crazy build❤️ would the rear stock discs with DS2500 pad upgrade be ok to run on stage 3?

@@RegalAutosport awesome thank you👍🏼
You said these discs are 356x22 and the stands are 22 aswell
You can't put thicker discs in with the stock calliper. The improvement comes from the larger disc, pattern and 2 piece design.
I hope the owner of this build agrees to you guys posting a driving review once everything has been completed 🤞
A BIG +1 🙏
He has! And some other RUclipsrs too!
What would be the total weight of them Wheels with tyres ps, nice video bro
Thanks for the kind words! We do not have the total weight available to hand.
