    I would jump on an RSL 15S. Bang for the buck I love my pair of HSU VTF-15H MK2.

    I don't know about the SVS, but the RSL 12S is a bass beast. I love mine. I have it up front, and paired with it's little brother the 10S MII at the rear. They work together wonderfully. RSL Speedwoofers are the real deal.

    • @evz1244
      @evz1244 4 месяца назад +1

      Aren’t you basically limited by the smaller sub though? Seems like the smaller one will give up before you can utilize the 12s to its potential no?

    • @mousec2600
      @mousec2600 4 месяца назад +1

      @@evz1244 I have the smaller one set to a somewhat lesser volume so that it's never asked to punch above it's weight. It doesn't hold back the 12s one bit. It's as beastly as ever. I have used it alone, just to prove to myself the difference, and they're better together than with just the 12s. I benefit from a more even bass distribution throughout my entire theater room by using the pair, and have never experienced the first degree of a downside. I'm sure two 12s would be better still, but haven't yet decided the additional cost is quite justified. Like I said, the mixed pair perform wonderfully together.

      @@evz1244 I did get the second RSL 12S back in December plus the two Klipsch SPL 120’s for 25hz and above. All I can say is that my living room rocks. I sacrificed the space for them and it’s worth the sacrifice. I can feel the air around me move as these two huge subwoofers do their thing.

    The PB-2000 Pro actually has a bit larger cabinet than the 12s, it also has a bit larger amplifier (550w amp vs the 500w amp) and has significantly more output based on Audioholics long term output sweeps of both units, about 7db more output before compression takes over. Keep in mind that every 3db of output requires a doubling of power so 7db is a very big difference. The 12s performs well at it's cost and I am sure that many people are more than happy with it, no doubt, but you would need two to match the SVS PB-2000 pro's SPLs.

    • @joentell
      @joentell 9 месяцев назад +3

      Really? I didn't look at the specs closely but I don't mind being wrong. Let me look now....
      SVS PB2000 Pro: 20.9" (H) 17.3" (W) 23.6" (D) = 8533 cu in
      RSL 12S: Dimensions with Feet: H: 22 1/4” W: 18 7/8” D: 22 1/8” = 9291 cu in
      It's tough to say because the RSL includes the feet in the dimensions.

    • @mpitogo1978
      @mpitogo1978 4 месяца назад

      Two over one is better to get a more uniform output. Room modes being a factor can’t be overcome with SPL.

      fully agree, id like to know if this is better than the klipsch. i can get the klipsch for 600 as opposed to 800 for the rsl. if it were msrp to msrp id go rsl to save 200. if the rsl is better i'll spend the extra 200 for it over the klipsch. the thing i like about the klipsch also is the 5yr warranty on amp and speaker etc. rsl is 2/5 yr
