- Ive been asked about whats in my bag. I said I'd do a "whats in my bag". So, here's a "whats in my bag". we talk about the sun Mountain golf bag, the makefield putter, the callaway rogue st pro irons, epic hybrids and callaway rogue st max ls driver. we also take into account the golf ball and some accessories
Always neat to see what’s in the bag in a master clubfitter and repair guy.

The Rifle flighted shafts are amazing, I had them in a set of 2007 Callaway xforged irons. I say had them because they are now in my teenage sons bag so I know I'm never getting them back.
I agree the Rifle shafts is awesome and dependable. I have DCB's with Nippon shafts Regular and lots of issues with oscillation. My old set of Callaway Irons came with rifle shafts 5.5 (2008) and are still making great shots . It is nice to have two sets one regular 5.0 and another at 5.5.

Nice bag! I appreciate listening to you talk very sensibly about your clubs and allowing your game to be what it is. The clubs are a tool to enhance what you do and I share that outlook. Excellent :)

We’re the same! I don’t have fairway woods because I use the 3 & 4 Epic SuperHybrids. They replaced the previous Epic SuperHybrid models. I don’t miss fairway woods!
Hi Jim, thanks for sharing. FYI, Precision Pro R1 has Bluetooth notifications if you walk away from your rangefinder. I don't use it but have seen reviews on that function. I have done the same thing, so now I keep it in the bag all the time. Semper Fi, Scott 🇺🇸
I have a precision pro range finder and I miss my 6 year old bushnell the clarity was way better, it read, longer distances, and was brighter. I would just get another bushnell if I was doing it again.
That is probably the way to go for me. And less expensive lol
We need to send you more brushes I guess!!! Next year we will make the cut!
nice bag! I still have a mavrik driver in my bad and ive tried TONS of newer drivers but for some reason that ole plane jane mavrik feels the best and performs the best. Ill try the 2023 drivers aswell though.
I have the Callaway Epic 2 Hybrid from a few years ago! It was the cheapest adjustable hybrid I could get and it's the best club in my bag. An absolute fairway finder off the tee and incredible from most lies. I wish there was a 1 Hybrid so I could get rid of my 3 wood 😂
Guess you won't have trouble finding a golf ball marker with that gob of change!

Great (or demented) minds obviously think alike. I also play a Graphite Design XC shaft in my (mini) driver. Because I am an “older guy” who generates a bit less clubhead speed than you do, I play an untipped SR (stiff regular) flex XC shaft in that club. I am also all about spin reduction!

I know the feeling. I purchased a new Bushnell range finder with a nice little discount from Vet. Golfers Assc. Earlier this year. First round, stuck on the roof support of the cart, finished the round, went home. Without it!😡. Called the shop and nowhere to be found. So I bought a Garmin watch! It’s on my wrist so it has to make it out to the car at least. Right? So far so good. Merry Christmas
I have the Super Hybrids at 6,5,4 and three. Amazing! Been discontinued probably because the price point contributed to poor sales but wow! Better than any long iron! Maybe because I have a steep swing also!

nice WITB Jim. Loving the Rouge ST Max LS driver. this past summer i hit the Rouge ST max 3 wood at the range and that was amazing. Feel/Sound was great. i only hit 2 shots and they flew exactly the same, high fades. Next Spring i want to compare my 2016 M2 with this one and the new Titleist TSR's. In 2021 i was custom fit for 2 shafts in my 2016 M2, last and current shaft was a Small Batch Evenflow RipTide CB 6.0. I averaged 1.49 smash factor, Swing speed w driver is 96-97 mph indoors on Trackman. I honestly don't want to get into a new driver, but i feel i'm lacking some forgiveness on off-center hits with my M2 and maybe a few yards on on-center hits.
By the way, I play out of Makefield Highlands Golf Club and have played for their Challenge Cup team. As you are undoubtedly aware, Makefield Highlands is the home of Makefield Putters.

What I do is always make sure to put the Blue Tees case in the open compartment in the cart that way when I finish my round and am rounding up all my stuff it triggers me to pull it back off and back into the bag it goes.
In reference to checking out different rangefinders a highly recommend that you can lie and has the slope up to 800 yards of range no magnet and it's only about 1:30 1:40 price wise I highly recommend it I also lost to range finders to the tune of about 600 bucks.

Jim, for a great rangefinder without a magnet on it, you may want to try a Precision Pro model. They offer them both ways - with and without magnets (or at least they did when I bought mine)!

I bought a 300 dollar precision pro after one round left it on cart it had magnet
blue tees max 2 has the same features as the max 3 but doesn't have a magnet.
Could you go into more detail as to why no fairway?
Swing is not conducive to using FWs meaning a bit more up and down vs sweeping. The hybrids marry up to my swing better
