Quick question: you mentioned wax being an alternative to buffing with polish. What kind of wax exactly? Like turtle wax?
What about adding swing weight back to the iron head as well Jim. Or one can add more SW if need be. And don’t forget about the rust that will show up after the grinds, depending on the metal material like Stainless will not rust of course.
Swing weight is not relevant when doing minor grinds. However rust can occur if you dont take care of them
Please address grinding of carbon steel clubs add taking off the finish will result in rust
I thought I touched on that in this after using the stitched buffing wheel when removing the coating. but you are correct the club will rust if not cleaned consistently
Will a belt sander work the same as a grinding belt as long as you change grits?
