Hey man, Honda service advisor here. I know this is going to sound stupid as hell haha, but some coworkers and I have somewhat found a fix for the crazy Apple CarPlay communication issue. I have a hatch sport touring 6spd myself so we have the same system and it worked for mine too.. so, if you have an apple phone, that’s usually where the issues lie, bc it’s an android unit in the car. If you have a friend or family member that has an android phone, have them connect their phone to android auto in your vehicle, then disconnect it and connect yours. Somehow this causes the communication issue to stop. I’ve seen it work multiple times now, makes zero sense, but it works. Worked for my personal car too. @@joespittle1 fair way to explain that, I was wondering what you meant by usable gallons. I have to fill up once or twice a week in my crv, getting the same mileage as my accord which was once a week. Hoping my gto will only be once a week as well but we'll have to see, it has an 18 gallon tank
My FL5 Type R ownership is very parallel to yours right down to the color and miles driven. (I’m at 11 k). I have not had any issues with my seats or infotainment screen. I totally agree that the ride quality in comfort mode is very livable. It is a great daily driver and so much fun to drive.
The GX is solid, you know that Topher had a good experience with his and you get some nice luxury with normally rock solid Toyota engineering. We had a 2011 that we named Betty White cause we figured it would Never die. Well Betty passed and then the trans starting slipping and solenoids went out. Traded it and moved on. Pros to the GX: silky V8 with good power and tq, nice interior, finally they fixed the crap infotainment. Cons: gas mileage, short wheel base can sometimes hurt the ride. I like to experience different vehicles so I probably wouldn’t buy another. But for winter it would have been great to have, btw, I grew up in central NY and lived the snow, our experiences with the GX was TX
Great video as always Tedward! You're the reason I bought my 11th gen Civic a few months back, (got the CVT as the only manual variant available here in my country is the Type R itself) and now you're making me want to trade it in for the FL5! Hoping for more Therapy Drive videos 💯
Love the honest review! Truthfully one of the main reasons I got rid of my Accord Sport 2.0T was because of the glitchy infotainment system. I would get the black screen all the time and CarPlay would disconnect daily. The engine was the absolute best part of that car, which is even more entertaining in the CTR. I now have an Elantra N and although it too has some quirks, it’s been a fantastic daily and has less issues than the Accord did. The CTR is such an amazing car though - maybe some day I’ll get the opportunity to drive one.
Looks great! Don't worry about the minor scratches etc. I was going to grab a type r but I settled with the 23 wrx limited. Needed the heated seats and 4 wheel. Surprised they didn't give the type r powered seats for the driver atleast. Either way it's beautiful love it
Fantastic video. First, I'm from Boston originally and living in NJ now. Really enjoyed your drive along the roads I used to travel so much in the many new cars I bought and went broke. over Lol. I totally agree with your thinking about driving a Lexus during the winter in the harsh driving conditions. Having a sports car and then having something like a Lexus to drive in bad conditions or just completely relax in is the ultimate. Thanks for this great drive through the Boston area.
Thanks for not making your lane-choice mistake the other drivers’ problem!! It takes little additional time to correct a mistake like that than to cut in, block traffic, disrupt flow, etc..
Pretty spot on review. I am 7k miles into my 23 Type R (purchased in June). I will say the road noise gets very annoying on longer road trips, apart from that, its a Honda like you said. Its worry-free at least for me, def not a car thats supposed to be a garage queen
I definitely feel you on the scratched trim. Yeah it's just a car, but if it is a car you love, it can sting to have something like that happen, even if it's not your fault. I had my IS 500 in the shop for a minor dent repair on the rear fender, and they scuffed the heck out of my driver's side interior rear door panel as well, not to mention the inside of the C-pillar. It looks bad. But luckily, I won't have to look at that while driving. :D It still sucks to know it is there, but oh well. I didn't buy it to make it a museum piece.
I love my 11th gen Si. A few lil quirks when I added some mods to it but it’s overall a fun and comfortable driving experience. 33mpg helps a lot too 🙌 glad you’re enjoying your type r!
@@TedwardDrives barely noticed this reply lol. Just cosmetics. Living in California its not worth doing anything internally or exhaust wise -.- I say quirks cause when I installed a front lip to my car, the whole system started restarting like my ABS system etc lol. But yeah other than cosmetic its a stock si.
Nice, informative review. My 2023 CTR is domiciled here in rural New Mexico above 6,600 feet elevation. Has 1,700 miles on it and 18” all seasons for the winter, including a spare tire. For road trips to metro area (200 miles) and driving in very remote areas I drive my 2022 GX460 which I recommend highly for its reliability and performance. The CTR and the Gx460 are the best combo for my situation, the CTR a joy for local drives to county seat and the Lexus for when the going gets tough. I too, prefer to not subject the Type R to wintry conditions especially when I have the best alternative tool available. Thanks again for fun video.
I was at the chicago auto show last year and saw the new civic type r, and the FIRST thing I said to my buddies that were there was "holy crap this thing looks so wide". Especially compared to my 2018 Golf R. absolutely love how honda has kept improving the type r, and very glad that all of the fake vents are gone now
my father has owned a 2020 Lexus GX for 3-4 years now. he had been through jeeps, subarus, and the likes, never being satisfied through with the all around product at the end of his lease period. He loved the GX so much he bought it at the end of his lease. He does a lot of driving to and from montreal and connecticut. especially in the winter for ski season and the summer for off-roading. aside from the gas mileage he loves it. especially if you’re going to go for a 2023 model with the updated infotainment it is a really nice rig. the new green color they offered is also super neat looking. best of luck searching tedward! hopefully my comment provided a bit of insight :)
you might be the first youtuber i’ve heard talk about the small gas tank because its one of those daily driving annoyances i have with the car. i drive my fk8 around 15k miles per year and its crazy how often im at the gas station. i know its a civic and compact cars have smaller gas tanks but this car is barely compact… it matters less when the regular and si can get 40+mpg. and i don’t think it’s for the purpose of an illusion because the accord has a bigger tank
I would take a long and hard look at a GX470 as well as the 460. A bit older, but better engine with the 2UZ (imo), removable rear seats for lower load floor, and nicer build quality. Can't go wrong with either though! The 460 has standard KDSS for better road manners, and better infotainment. Finally got to drive an FL5 CTR last night, thanks to CarMax, who was asking $53k. Absolutely loved it. Maybe next year I'll go on what is sure to be a frustrating hunt...
I love the look of the 11th gen, less riced and looks more of a "sleeper" (which I prefer) , nice video I agree with most of the stuff you said. I have a 2018 Si as my only car, already have 114k miles on it ( I also live in boston area and commute), however its so fun and although I can't afford another more expensive car yet, I feel safe knowing what im driving is similar to a normal civic, the reliability is what attracted me, my last civic had 260k before it had a misfire! I like driving my car, often after work I take the long way and rip backroads, I feel like I shouldn't be scared to do that. Sure they (probably) don't make them as good as they used to, but for now its great. Something else I like to tell myself, it would be great to get really good at driving this car with low power , And years down the road (when I can afford) something more powerful with a manual. Btw no heated seats is a shame, even mine has that 🙁
Very nice update. I just passed 2,500 miles after 3 months, also a daily driver and bought it for same reasons you mention in video (was considering a used 997, used to own a 993). I haven't had the seat or gear change issue and although infotainment is sometimes laggy it has always worked. I also love the interior but I do have at least 3 dash/rear view mirror rattles that come and go and can be very annoying. My infotainment is sometimes laggy but has always worked. The combination of sports car attributes - great driving position and seats, superb steering, shifting, and handling, combined with the ability to haul huge boxes/luggage and comfortably seat adults in the back is pretty unbeatable.
I think you absolutely should get that GX460, it’d help with the peace of mind for sure, and I think you deserve a new experience, plus it can be new content for the channel with the overlanding
Greetings from Germany o/ Thank you for showing the Type R, whether good or bad, in all it's detail. These videos have helped me quite a bit on the decision of trying to get one of these bad boys myself too, which I did! Though I have to admit, this is in fact going to be my first self owned car. Not sure how smart it was to have done such a big purchase for a first vehicle but it doesn't stop me from being all excited. This really is a JDM dream come true, especially for someone like me who is new to the driving world. But Im sure I will learn quick because I do have a lot of fun driving. Its as you said in one of your videos, if you have fun doing something, the quicker you are gonna become good at it.😊
Thanks for the video. I own an FL5 and a 981GT4. If you think the rev match is as good on the Honda, you need to drive a Porsche again. There's no contest. The Porsche rev match responds much more rapidly and with no rev hang.
Sounds like the Type R is behaving like a Honda which is a good thing. Still driving my 2013 TSX Wagon. Yes, two very different cars but it does everything well and It just keeps going, so I just keep driving it. Great video and update👍
Thanks for the great video of the CTR. Also loved the drive around Boston and surrounding area. I haven’t been home in many years and this quick drive made me miss Massachusetts more than ever.
I have a separate daily, but if you do the math, it will probably cost you less to keep putting miles on the Civic. Take whatever you would spend carrying the winter car and put it in a simple mutual fund. You will be way ahead of the incremental costs, depreciation, etc. you incur by using the CTR all year. Now, if you want an SUV simply because you want it, then go for it. Just recognize it will probably cost, not save, you money.
Main reason I clicked on your video was because I saw the Zakim Bridge! haha you went super far that day! Great video! I drive an 2018 WRX and its a tank in the winter and gets up and goes went you need it. I bought all seasons for the winter but I need some actual winters, and I hate to jinx it but I feel like were get a bad winter this year.
I’ve daily driven a 2000 Honda Civic SI for a couple years. I also live in Massachusetts with very severe winters. It’s a pretty good daily driver but kinda sketchy. It’s better to actually store the car because you really don’t want anything happening to it. I learned my lesson by sliding through thin ice, hitting a sidewalk destroying my wheel. I decided to buy a brand new 2023 Lexus IS350 F sport for a daily. I’m telling you right now, it’s the best decision I ever made. Everyday, I feel very grateful and confident for purchasing this car.
syracuse here, we get more snow than buffalo and i have no issues daily driving a fwd toyota with 4 winter tires. the plows in these upstate cities do a great job keeping up with the snowfall.
I’m a year into my ‘23 Outback Wilderness and I love it. It’s got those Subaru quirks/qualities to it, but it’s comfortable, has some good punch and it’s more than capable for light off-roading. I especially like how it’s just a lifted midsized wagon over a bloated hatch other suv/cuvs are.
Great video man! I have an integra type s and have the same issues as you with CarPlay. Sometimes turning the wifi on and off which resets the connection fixes it. Other times I have had to reset the infotainment by holding a few buttons on the head unit. I can’t stop driving it too, I got it September and have 7500 miles already.
a lot of my friends were giving me FOMO for grabbing an SI over the CTR, but this video solidified my choice. The SI was the way to go for me personally.
Highly recommend doing a partial roof kit on ur car. For whatever reason that car loves to get chipped on the roof. I did it on my car and have no regrets spending the money to know my roof won’t get destroyed
I really wanted a Type R. Ended up with a 22 wrx limited instead because type r prices were nuts when I was in the market. After I got the wrx tuned it’s been a blast though and scratches the urge. For now.
2020 Civic Si from Atlanta GA, Vehicle is great, frustrations from the infotainment center is exactly the same for me. Android and Iphone it doesn't matter what phone, Its the radio. Take it back to the dealer and get it replaced for free if under warranty. But the problem will probably still persist. Or purchase a after market. Pburg. I get up to 52 mpg's and that is with Enjin SRI, HKS BOV, Enjin catback exhaust and Hondata. Great review
Great review. I’m in the same situation with my M2 which i put away for Canadian winter. Honda Ridgeline is the strong contender for winter duty/ truck use.
The stock tires were on my GR86 premium when a ice storm hit; then dropped slick snow on top of that. Lovely that Michigan did not drop any salt at all (real wtf moment as the storm was on the radar for over 24 hours). I struggled to get up a like 10 degree incline, and a guy got out of his car and helped push my vehicle up that small incline!! Winter tires are a non-negotiable! Ha!
Really loving my FL5 coming from an 8th gen Si and WRX when I was in WNY. The Waze app freak outs really becomes frustrating especially on unfamiliar roads, otherwise has been a great daily in LA
I thought I would be disappointed with the interior having it simple like that really does work. I think this is going be next in September Nice car all round and very reasonable price
This is really valuable to know about. Infotainment systems always gonna be the worst part. I'd just like to have a regular one, not something that needs to connect to my phone. Also, Dana's favourite car is the right answer.
I have really enjoy your video here. I especially appreciate your closing comments about having lower stress fun. Not so expensive, just a Civic, etc.. Sort of Miata-like. Easy. I am weighing this and a Cayman (among others). Which would I worry about more? I’m 58 and can do the wing. Damn the critics.
Fun fact. The shift knob used in this series of Type-R is the exact same shape and dimensions of the shift knob used in Ayrton Senna's early 90's McLaren F1 cars before McLaren switched to a sequential paddle shift gearbox's. If anyone is wondering where Honda got that gear knob shape from for this car.
thanks for the update!! and lmao, as someone who lived in the boston area for 4 years, I was definitely wondering where you were going the whole time hahaha
I love how distracted you get ❤. lol I’m like that too when I’m trying to get to my destination, I understand that it’s a CTR and that we finally got the forbidden fruit here in U.S. and people don’t want to stack miles on it, I get that. But it’s a drivers car meant to be appreciated for what it is and what it does. I would put a whole lot of miles on it and not feel guilty about it because I know that with every mile I’m either happy or seeing new places.
I am starting to believe I bought the best all-around Honda Civic ever made. 2016, 10th Gen Civic LX, 2.0L with a 6 speed manual. I have owned it over a year, put 35,000 miles on it, and have basically zero complaints. It doesn't use a drop of oil in 7,000 miles and gets over 40mph highway. It averages 37-38mpg on the dash and it's still a blast to drive with 158HP! I also have the same issue with the phone from time to time but it works so often that it has never actually bothered me.
I feel that way towards my 5 speed 2011 Yaris. Paid 7000 cash for it. It only had 24000 miles. So fun driving a slow car fast. Actually handles very well and does 38 mpg.
My order of vehicle acquisition was 2012 C63 (19mpg), 2005 Dodge Viper (16mpg), and then 2012 Honda Fit for winter duty (38mpg). I know that feeling well! 😂
I got a 2024 rav4 and I run into some issues with CarPlay as well. The same problem you went through where your phone was connected to your CarPlay but it was playing through the phone and not through the car. Totally different car from your review video, but it was good to know that I’m not the only one!
this video has made me happy that i decided to buy a manaul bmw 220d last year and not an auto really. while at dominos i questioned it but now im happy with a manual and especially watching this. yes its not the most comfortable in large traffic jams but its just nice and a really nice gearbox. and i have to say bwm's leather seats have to be some of the best out there. they're super comfortable, but you wanna go fast? okay, press the lever on the side and we will squeeze you like you're in a vice. oh and we will heat your hands and bum and back while doing so if its a bit cold
@@ShaiyanHossain I do love driving a manual. It’s just when you’re sat in traffic and constantly 1st to neutral to 1st to neutral to 1st oooo 2nd back into neutral and clutch foot kicks in /:
Some 3D or Tuxmat floor mats would be much more fitting for this thing than Weathertechs. They're just as protective (if not more so) while feeling and looking so much more premium.
I have the same compulsion! My car is “just a civic” BUT IT MY CAR!! I always try and keep my cars as close to the condition they were in when I got them, and it always pisses both me and the people I’m with off when I get probably a bit too irked if they get crumbs or dirt or scratches all over my car. I have a ‘24 Civic Si, and my friend already scratched the front passenger door getting into it 💀
appreciate this review, i've been trying for 2 years to stay under $40k for my daily, but i've been really considering just stretching my budget for one of these. All time manual kind of scares me..
Great update. I don’t experience any CarPlay issues but the small fuel tank is frustrating. Usually at this point I’m looking at what I can replace it with, but there’s nothing out that ticks all the boxes - amazing handling, manual, family friendly. You get the manual M3 in the US but it’s not available in the U.K.
Great video, I never owned or drove a Type R Civic, But I have a 2018 Accord Sport 2.0 T 6sp. and a 2013 Accord Sport 6sp. I love driving them, I changed out the RSB and tires on both and feel like " I am cheating the system " 😊
My guy Dana Maloney has GREAT TASTE in cars by the way! 🤝 Also why not just get a aftermarket shift-knob that you'd like better? If you go with an SUV also, get what you want of course, but highly recommending something like an outback. A nice mid-size crossover, not something ridiculous, stupid and huge like a Tahoe, or escalade.
I love the car, great video. This might sound harsh. The laggy/inconsistent infotainment in unacceptable. Working "most" of the time is unacceptable. For ~$50k, the screen in my car needs to be on par (if not better) that my smart phone, especially when the two connect to each other. Laggy infotainment may not be a dealbreaker for you, but it is for some of us!
Great update, very informative! Just wondering in terms of ride quality, if you feel that comfort mode in the Type R is roughly equivalent to the Civic SI's ride..?
If I had to guess, the trend toward smaller fuel tanks is so you're not lugging around more fuel, hurting fuel economy. In the case of the Civic, they probably just made the tradeoff since they will make so few Type-Rs in the grand scene of all the the other economical trims.
Currently daily driving a 2020 STI and am looking for a change up. After watching this I might go test drive an FL5 before I make any decisions… I drive a lot now and can’t seem to get any better than 24mpg on highway… and I drive conservatively.

We had a 2011 that we named Betty White cause we figured it would
Never die.
As much as I love the variety of cars on the channel, my favourite videos are always of your own cars! They just feel homely!
Either way it's beautiful love it
yeah that's because it adds more weight, and that's also why this car has a slick top as opposed to the Si which is equipped with a sunroof!
I've got an FL5 Type R and my wife owns a GX 460, you've got great taste, my guy!
Same thing happened to me with my brand new car. Got its serviced and my door panels came back scuffed up on the driver side of all places too
I love my 11th gen Si. A few lil quirks when I added some mods to it but it’s overall a fun and comfortable driving experience. 33mpg helps a lot too 🙌 glad you’re enjoying your type r!
What kind if mods did you do?
Just drove a type S today. Can trade my SI and pay 28k out the door for the type S. Not sure it's worth it.
@@TedwardDrives barely noticed this reply lol. Just cosmetics. Living in California its not worth doing anything internally or exhaust wise -.-
I say quirks cause when I installed a front lip to my car, the whole system started restarting like my ABS system etc lol.
But yeah other than cosmetic its a stock si.
@@davelospinoso9022 could be worth it but again you're going to be sacrificing your MPG if its a daily.
Tedward: the only automative RUclips channel that I get to see POV drives past my house
Watching these videos when I’m getting my g2 in three months has to be the most hyped thing ever.
Btw no heated seats is a shame, even mine has that
🙁
The 10th gen was hideous in all trims imo. 11th gen is very sleek
Remove spoiler for sleeper effect
thanks for showing the reality, absolutely love this car
What's the gear change issue? I may have missed a TSB
Thought I had seen a 1st gear grinding issue during an earlier video, perhaps someone else.
Now 7k miles in and i think its the best daily for a car enthusiast. Plus if i really want i can get 34 mpg out of it. Looks also nice next to my s2k
I think you absolutely should get that GX460, it’d help with the peace of mind for sure, and I think you deserve a new experience, plus it can be new content for the channel with the overlanding
Greetings from Germany o/
Thank you for showing the Type R, whether good or bad, in all it's detail.
Its as you said in one of your videos, if you have fun doing something, the quicker you are gonna become good at it.😊
This was honestly very therapeutic 😭😭 i enjoyed every min of just watching him drive
I bought a BRZ in spring. 12k miles later I still love it and I’ve averaged 31.2mpg. It’s perfect for what I need. I’d love a Type R though.
25,000 on mine since Christmas. They are adding up too quickly.
That's how you know you like your car. I wish you the best with it man!
Dang! Probably only 3 more years before you need to sell it.
@@CapFlipGamingthese cars can last up to 300k+ miles, why do people need to sell them when they hit 100k?
@@BigBoyz33 Does anyone have a 300k mile FK8? The old NA cars I wouldn’t doubt but I’m skeptical of long term longevity with the turbo.
@@TT92348why? It’s a Honda. My Passat 2.0t has 260,000 miles and doing fine lol
Thanks for the video. I own an FL5 and a 981GT4. If you think the rev match is as good on the Honda, you need to drive a Porsche again. There's no contest. The Porsche rev match responds much more rapidly and with no rev hang.
I drive a wide variety Porsches regularly. I revisit constantly.
Only fools drive a car on the snow that is 10cm from the floor. Thats why you need a SUV
a fellow masshole!! the civic looks so clean, I just watched your video on how to drive manual and it helped more than any other video on yt
Thank you!! I’m so glad it helped
I'm watching you drive through the same areas I'm often driving. I'll be looking for you in my 11th gen SI!
its crazy to see how popular Honda are in america! i love to see it!
0:46 money shot
19:55 Committing to ur mistake despite 2 opportunities to rectify: respect!!
Its soo trippy seeing roads that I know in your videos haha
My 10th gen hatch has issues with CarPlay as well Honda just loves CarPlay connectivity issues 😭
Sounds strange, I bought an aftermarket carplay headunit for my 9 gen civic from china and its does the same thing.
a lot of my friends were giving me FOMO for grabbing an SI over the CTR, but this video solidified my choice. The SI was the way to go for me personally.
haven’t seen ur videos in awhile glad to see this one, also that car is beautiful
For now.
2020 Civic Si from Atlanta GA,
Vehicle is great, frustrations from the infotainment center is exactly the same for me.
14:32 Needs a 10-gallon Cannonballing fuel cel option that retains some usable cargo space.
Great review. I’m in the same situation with my M2 which i put away for Canadian winter. Honda Ridgeline is the strong contender for winter duty/ truck use.
Tedward, that Civic is such an understanding partner. How lovely.
Civic partner.
Ha!
Was fun to see some of the Big Dig in your drive. I listened to that podcast too.
I'll do a full video tour soon. Would be a fun one
Nice review man!
It’s not just a civic, it’s a type r
Really loving my FL5 coming from an 8th gen Si and WRX when I was in WNY. The Waze app freak outs really becomes frustrating especially on unfamiliar roads, otherwise has been a great daily in LA
That’s what I’m debating. Selling the fa5 for a fl5
I thought I would be disappointed with the interior having it simple like that really does work.
I think this is going be next in September
Nice car all round and very reasonable price
Owner of a 2019 si coupe, yes the gas mileage and pluckiness of the 1.5l turbo are the best I love my car
This is really valuable to know about. Infotainment systems always gonna be the worst part. I'd just like to have a regular one, not something that needs to connect to my phone.
Also, Dana's favourite car is the right answer.
Good choice in music! The Backseat Lovers are incredible. Shame about the Apple Carplay bug
Your property is absolutely gorgeous. Car is pretty lovely too haha
Cheers
What?! Tedward fixed his logo?! It can’t be!!
Can thank Dana for that!
great video! love all the niceties the 11th gen civic/integra brings!
I got a 2024 rav4 and I run into some issues with CarPlay as well. The same problem you went through where your phone was connected to your CarPlay but it was playing through the phone and not through the car. Totally different car from your review video, but it was good to know that I’m not the only one!
Getting my SGP early next year. Very excited and chose this over the GR Corolla. Continued luck with yours!
this video has made me happy that i decided to buy a manaul bmw 220d last year and not an auto really. while at dominos i questioned it but now im happy with a manual and especially watching this. yes its not the most comfortable in large traffic jams but its just nice and a really nice gearbox. and i have to say bwm's leather seats have to be some of the best out there. they're super comfortable, but you wanna go fast? okay, press the lever on the side and we will squeeze you like you're in a vice. oh and we will heat your hands and bum and back while doing so if its a bit cold
i drive manual in NYC traffic and i prefer it over driving an auto- i love being in control of the car, and i hate standing on the brakes lol
@@ShaiyanHossain I do love driving a manual. It’s just when you’re sat in traffic and constantly 1st to neutral to 1st to neutral to 1st oooo 2nd back into neutral and clutch foot kicks in /:
14:00 my 2023 CRV Sport Touring get's 40mpg in the city. I'm totally blown away. Absolutely love that thing.
Those hybrids are incredible!!
I have a ‘24 Civic Si, and my friend already scratched the front passenger door getting into it 💀
I can relate about the cold start notchy feeling in my type r too 😂, then when it warms up gets butter smooth 😊
appreciate this review, i've been trying for 2 years to stay under $40k for my daily, but i've been really considering just stretching my budget for one of these. All time manual kind of scares me..
Do more therapy drive videos like the Stop Waiting one with the honda type r
Great update. I don’t experience any CarPlay issues but the small fuel tank is frustrating. Usually at this point I’m looking at what I can replace it with, but there’s nothing out that ticks all the boxes - amazing handling, manual, family friendly. You get the manual M3 in the US but it’s not available in the U.K.
I can imagine this car going well over 100k miles.
Great video, I never owned or drove a Type R Civic, But I have a 2018 Accord Sport 2.0 T 6sp. and a 2013 Accord Sport 6sp.
I love driving them, I changed out the RSB and tires on both and feel like " I am cheating the system " 😊
Been watching your videos .I enjoy them. Just bought a 2024 civic SPORT in Sonic Gray Pearl
My guy Dana Maloney has GREAT TASTE in cars by the way! 🤝
Also why not just get a aftermarket shift-knob that you'd like better? If you go with an SUV also, get what you want of course, but highly recommending something like an outback. A nice mid-size crossover, not something ridiculous, stupid and huge like a Tahoe, or escalade.
I love that car!! Its very amazing! 😊❤
I just bought a 2024 Passport and the backup camera is a world better than my 2012 Pilot had
Hows the Red carpet holding up? And would you somehow change it to black for long term usage?
