    I’m glad you showed me that. It was one of my concerns about buying the cf moto. Thank you

      You're welcome! I love it thus far. You'll reuse the O ring, AND the rubber gasket off of your old filter. Tap that spring hanger forward and your all set. It'll take more oil also, but thats a good thing. I was more like 3L instead of the 2.5L. I added 2.5 then little by little until full.

    Okay fine..... you talked me into it LOL - I'm going to do my 2nd service at 1,000KM and it was a pain in the ass the first time.

    • @ironheadbiker
      @ironheadbiker  10 месяцев назад

      It will suck more this 1st time, but after that, easy. Quick. Remember to bend that little spring mount out of the way a little bit. You'll know how much when you get the kit and see what needs to be done.

    I’ve order one and will be putting on mine next oil change. I was wondering about the rubber grommet that comes on the paper filter did you use it or just the o ring for the base.

    Thats a nice add on. Thanks!

    • @ironheadbiker
      @ironheadbiker  3 года назад

      Yeah I'm really liking it! During oil changes, I'll still have to remove the rear wheels to get to those hidden zerks, but at least I won't have to mess with those tiny 8mm bolts

    Hey, can you do a video on suspension adjustment?

  • @haywoodjablome44
    @haywoodjablome44 3 года назад +1

    A slightly shorter filter may keep you from needing to relocate the spring or is that not an option?

    • @ironheadbiker
      @ironheadbiker  3 года назад

      Not really an option, I just tap the spring mount outta the way, poetry easy, could've cut it and drilled a new hole, but I talked with a few guys and they just tap the mount out of the way. At first I thought I did something wrong or ordered the wrong part.

    Looks like different options on the Mrrpmycle, which one is it? Emailed Stephen in the contact info and no reply.

    • @ironheadbiker

      The one for can am, then I didn't add any extra ports. They are for if you wanted to add an oil cooler.

    • @leslieschiltz3454
      @leslieschiltz3454 2 года назад +1

      Just got a reply to my email;
      We make these for the Can Am Rotax engine and we only work on Can Am machines here , so I cannot confirm that any of them will work on your machine .
      The no port adapter is the one that just adds a spin on style filter without any extra ports for cooler or gauge .

      Yep that's the one I used. Name have run it on their cfmoto 1000 for thousands of miles. I've had zero issues with mine. Probably my favorite addition for maintenance reasons.

    Afternoon curious how the oil filter set up is working? How many miles you put in it

    • @ironheadbiker
      @ironheadbiker  3 года назад +2

      Got a 1,000 miles on it, no issues. Very very handy

    Sounder if this works on the ZForce 950?

    • @ironheadbiker
      @ironheadbiker  Год назад +1

      I believe it does. I've got a 2023 z950 ho ex. I was thinking about it, but at least on the Z it's more easily accessed. Msc sells them for twice as much ($200) as mrrpm does.

      Mr rpm is half the price and fittings for oil temp gauge or oil cooler or a combination of both.

      Thanks! I'm ready for tractor season! I use mine a little in the summer, mainly grading my driveway, but I'm thinking next year of getting a rear finish mower. I love my zero turn, but I get so much debris back in my face from sitting on top of the mower deck. And as my pine trees get bigger they're harder to mow around. I've never had a bad moment on my tractor, and think even though it'd be slower, it'd be more enjoyable.

    What part did you order

    • @ironheadbiker
      @ironheadbiker  2 года назад +1

      Don't remember the number, but the one with no extra ports. And an extra filter

  • @joerenaud5881

    Curious if that changes your pressure?

    • @ironheadbiker
      @ironheadbiker  3 года назад

      I'm guessing not much, I also switched to a thinner synthetic oil. But without a gauge I'd only be guessing

    Probably voids the warranty

    • @ironheadbiker
      @ironheadbiker  2 года назад +1

      Warranty has expired. Plus warranties only cover specific failures. If engine failure, this would void, but if something unrelated failed, it wouldn't effect. Would be hard to prove adding more oil and filtration would damage anything.

    that might be a good idea lol hope you dnt do trail riding cuz a stick would hit that and be bad day lol

    • @ironheadbiker
      @ironheadbiker  3 года назад +1

      It's pretty well protected in there. I had the big splash guard off. But with that said, I'm never surprised anymore at where sticks end up on these things.
