just leaving this here, its already been one year since my ex girlfriend decided to breakup with me, ever since then i lost the mood for almost everything, days go by like seconds passing by, i lay in bed feeling sick when im actually not. ive tried my hardest to not think about her, working out, exercising, talking to my peers, but i feel lost, lost without her, lost in this crazy world. i wish i couldve done something different every single day.

Good for you. Continue to heal. ❤️🩹 Discard day for me was March 26, we were together 18 married 17 of those yrs. I just learned about Narcissism the past year. I figured him completely out the month before in Feb (2023) I went minimal NC bc we have kids together. Straight emails. I feel much better and as I continue to heal I am finally at peace. These toxic relationship do a number on your health. My blood pressure has went down and is steady and my body isn’t inflamed as it once was.

@@Whateverbaylieno contact doesn’t mean blocking your ex. It means not texting/reaching out first. If you block them then how can they reach out. Only block if you never want to get back together
They still have the positive memories in their memory bank - I found that really helpful.
BEST content on the internet! We have to DETACH By going no-contact. It creates emotional disconnect and helps you to see “the ex” clearly, instead of through rose colored glasses. If they discarded you, THAT IS how you are to remember them…as someone who was cruel and threw you away. It requires rewiring the brain though. The brain wants to fix a problem. So it keeps you strategizing “the how” to fix it but THE ONLY way to truly disconnect and detach is by going no contact.

I have definitely made so many mistakes when it has come to my ex. I’m at the stage where I am realising, but starting to accept more and more than I deserve better than someone who refuses to resolve issues and have difficult conversations. It’s about trying not to give in during the weak moments. Looks like I am about to embrace indefinite no contact.

Hey don't you think it's sad that people even have to behave this way? I mean peoples lives aren't a big game, a person who has to go through a process to re- love someone is false in my opinion. They either choose to love you and do it correctly or they don't. It's a choice to wake up every day and love someone. That's why we can't trust our feelings, feelings are floating they change from moment to moment. If a person's feelings are changing from moment to moment then they are not grounded in a belief system that holds them secure. That go from feeling to feeling, wishy,washy, unstable. I appreciate your attempt to help people understand themselves. God bless you for that but the fact is that love is a choice, staying is a choice. Love is not a feeling the good and bad feeling is a product of choosing to love someone to open yourself to them to put them before yourself. God bless you brother.

My ex of 13 years won't be contacting me as I told him not to, he started losing weight and looking after himself in Feb of this year, then said he was looking for somewhere else to live. He blamed everything except the real reason he wanted out. I found out a week after I forced him to move out he was seeing someone who he was with 30 years ago, who he left because she was needy. Told me to keep my engagement ring and keep my number, which I changed. I stayed in NC, looking and feeling better and I'm now exercising and reconnecting with old friends. Lost over a stone too. My happy personality has returned.

Thank you so much Coach Black, I watch your videos religiously and I am thankful for how you help us navigate our relationships. Ive been going through a tough time. Our relationship lasted 2-3 months :( It's been 73 days of NC. He first reached out to me after 10 days to tell me he broke up with me cause of health reasons and needing to sort out his baby mama drama (excuses, we). I asked if we could meet up to talk, he didn't respond. I reached out to remind him to reschedule delivery of his stuff I sent, he responded that he would but he never did (he told me he was out of the country for work). The post office ended up returning his stuff to me. I haven't heard from him since then and it's driving me crazy. Oh yeah I found out he removed me from his friend list, but still follows me (I was hurt that he did that), he used to watch my stories religiously until I muted him. I can't believe we went from discussing our future to this. What can I do? I really don't want to feed his ego by breaking NC!
I heard my Ex asked our mutual friend how I am doing.....that gives me closure, now I know he is not cold-hearted .
Today after 36 days of no contact, i was at my workplace then he came and asked to see me in his office. and we had a chat about work and how life has been.he updated me about his career progress and he said i still believed in him i said yes ......so we were flowing and smiling but someone walked in,he tried to dismiss that person in order to continue our conversation, but i said I was leaving......and I still have to give him some documents next week, but I was very calm,I will send the documents with someone else,I love him still but I don't feel anxious anymore.........no contact works,whether he shows you or not

This really gave me a new perspective in approaching a possible reconciliation. In NC, after I walked away after the same thing I nicely explained was an issue with me. I no longer felt safe. I didn't argue and just disappeared. He hasn't reached out and not sure if he even cared. All I am doing now is getting myself better😊

Love your videos. 6 months NC apart from one unavoidable contact at 3 months and I offered an opportunity to talk and it was declined. We have no connections anywhere other than WhatsApp so no idea what is happening in his world. Like someone commented on one of your other videos…this whole breakup coaching seems to be a way to make the dumpee feel better about being dumped and going through the grieving process. I honestly don’t see no contact working when it comes to men of color.
Why wouldn’t it work on men of color in your opinion?
@@blacademic my ex, male friends and family members that are “guys from the streets” as men of color can be extremely prideful for one and have a mentality that once they break up therer’s no going backwards. They're not sitting around worry over a women...the best way to get over one women is to get under another woman.

@blacademic I stand corrected! My ex (man of color) reached out to me today after 4 months of absolutely no contact. He texted me under the guides that there was a deadly car accident near my home. He knew before sending the text that it was a husband and wife injured in the accident, yet he texted anyway. He even addressed me by the pet name he had given me when we were together.

Hey brother, I really appreciate you. I was dating a girl for a little over a month and we had a really solid connection. But I had some personal issues and lost my My temper very bad . Not with her there but I called and told her about it. I think it really scared her because of some things she's been through in the past. So she let me go. I understand cuz we hadn't been dating that long. But she does say she's down to hang out in the future. She really had a massive impact on me and I'd like to prove to her that I'm becoming better I'm working on myself.

@@deedee446 I could go on about her tbh with you. To keep it short she's super adventurous and athletic and she's pushed me into that side of adventure to make me wanna explore the world. She's a rare breed of woman you don't find a lot these days. She makes me want to be a better man.
