Well I did it. Got my first pc on the way. 4070 ti with 13700k with all corsair for the rest of the components. Gonna pair great for high refresh on my Samsung Odyssey G9. Marcus made me comfortable with building my first time around, and I’m all about it

your best friend is PC partpicker. I built a PC recently after my laptop died. I was looking at parts and was thinking why cant there be a system builder website......and there is. PC part picker...create a build and see the realtime costs...saved me a lot of money!! Shows where the cheapest is and show compatability of all the parts.

I'm gonna try to get my first gaming PC from a summer job this summer. If I don't have enough I'll just spend it on making a setup, then try to complete it with the PC later.
That PC looks nice. Want! On a serious note, I am planning on a Lancool 3 full tower upgrade to improve airflow in my PC. Midi towers are just to darn hot in summer. Though, not sure if the supplied fans with that case will be the best. So will keep a check of temps.

Currently have a 1050 and an i3 3rd gen for a pc😂 its not that much, can surf the internet tho. Wish i could own a pc like that beast shown in the video tho, i could only dream of the power it can dish out on any game or the speed of encoding 4k videos.
Great combo for the price but u could easily get a 4080 for a 3k budget but if u don’t want to get in the way of your aesthetics then a 4070 ti will do good for a while

for sure! I had a 3060 before I upgraded to a 4080, works perfectly for 1080p or 1440p! And it has more productivity features than say, an AMD card, so you have a more well rounded gpu :)
I build a decent desktop during pandemia. My processor is an i9900k but my GPU is a 2070 Super forman OEM. Now I have some savings and I see the 4080 readily in stock. Should I jump the gun and buy or should I wait a couple of years and do a full rebuild?

Ram speeds don't matter it's more capacity especially when playing games in 4k. I keep my gaming pc under my desk as my chair has hit the desk and put vibration threw the pc and ruined my gen 4 ssd slot, idk how but it did.

for good 4k fps unfortunately a 7000’s series would be optimal if you are going with amd, swap out cpu for a more powerful one such as 5800x3d if possible, will milk more performance out of gpu
Well tbh the cable management on the front like for instance with the AIO leaves a lot to be desired. If they would just route the cables along the vram's instead across them it would look 10 times better already.

the ryzen 5 3600 is showing its age, just like i7 8700k
Look at something like the new i5 13400F or Ryzen 7600 - should be much better suited!
