    Be aware that on January 8th 2024 there will probably be an announcement of the 40XX Super refresh series. Would intreduce improved cards for the same price tag and lower current cards prices on the market, so if you can wait just a lilttle longer to make sure you get the max value for your money you might consider waiting for now.

    • @ElderWillows
      @ElderWillows 8 месяцев назад

      @@whereswaldo6141 IMO the i7-13700-k-kf is the way to go for overall usecases, if you're just gaming, Ryzen 7 7800X3D or budget 7600X. I chose the intel CPU because gaming is not all I do but it still is up to 90% of my PCs workload. There isn't any reason to go above these CPUs for the 7800xt, and I wouldn't recommend going lower, treat yourself.
      I'm keeping my 13700 under 65c with an Air cooler (NH-D15) as well, so if you're worried about temps or anything like that and overspend on coolers or aren't to keen on AIO, Air coolers still work wonders on 13th gens.

    I've got a 5800x and 6950xt paired with 16gb 3600 c16. Should I get a 5800x3d or 7800x3d with new ram as well? The most demanding game I play is Escape From Tarkov. Worth an upgrade?

      @@MrJB31 depending on the games you currently play and the frames you get. If you get enough then dont upgrade but if you want higher frames at a higher resolution then it is time to upgrade. I would recommend to upgrade but it all depends on your budget and if the upgrade would be worth it in the first place.

    I went for a bundle for £400 of a B650E ASU’s Strix and 7600x. Value was too good to ignore, but I thought it would do to move me into AM5 with a view to picking up the 7800x3d or 9800x3d down the line. Can’t fault the performance for 1440p gaming

    What CPU would you recommend to pair with an RTX 2060 for 1080p gaming? I did have it running a Ryzen 5 3600 but it died abruptly(tested in 3 other systems, definitely a problem with that CPU) so I've had to go back to an old i5-4690k. Looking to spend about £250 on a CPU Mobo combo.

      Ryzen 5 5600 or 5600x will be good as it will give you room to upgrade your gpu when you decide too
