This is an excellent time to do up your summer tires as we get close here in Canada for the winter tire change over. You guys make it look so easy and then clean up will be that much faster, and vice versa with winter tires. Thanks guys.
I just did a Toyota Tundra for my neighbor with your 5 year coating. This is the second vehicle I used this coating on. It is soooo much easier than the Carbon Force I used on 3 vehicles before these! The self leveling and, with older eyes to look with, is harder to see when it's flashing. But using your method that if it's not grabby, it's usually good to start the leveling. I was actually happy he didn't want to do his wheels. He has used quick beads that I introduced him to. I don't have a smaller buffing polisher to use in intricate areas on wheels. Your videos are and actual quality of your products are what makes me come back. BTW, I have the same portable table you are using. I love that thing!
I just bought new wheels last week and mounted them. I used a spray ceramic coating but i do plan for later on taking the time to properly coat them. Bronze ALPHAequipt COMMAND in 18x9 for my 09 wrangler. Cant wait to see these on your jeep.
We need a deep cleaning wheel video for ceramic coating used wheels. I have really intricate wheels that a wheel face brush doesn’t cut it. I’m still doing the old detailing method to clean my wheels trying to find something simpler.
I polished with C6 App and ceramic coated glossy rims for winter tires with Hydro Lite before tires were mounted, what would you recommend I tell my tire guy to "scuff" with before adding the weights when tires get mounted?
I want to have my wheels re-powder coated, is there a general rule of thumb on how long I should wait before ceramic coating the wheels? Great video guys 😁👍
Hey Ivan, is there any chance that diy detail products are gonna be available in India? Btw Love from India. I really love your simple and minimalist approach towards detailing
Can I clean & reuse applicator pads in "Rinse less" or should I order 3 to rotate. Applying coating over several days. Do ceramic bottles have date codes? How do I know when they're too old to use?
Yvan will be along to say but yes you can reuse if cleaned in rinseless. Clean as soon as finished. Opened bottle last I think around 6 months. Unopened I think is a year.
@andrewkennedy9704 TY, a year sounds good if sealed, but I don't know when the bottle was sealed. I was hoping to buy during sale, but I'm unable to use until Apr '25. Snowbird & won't be home until then.

Stupid question, how do I remove extremely sticky black small dots (not sure if they are tar or dried brake dust) from my wheels? They are stubborn and wheel cleaner doesn’t work.
Can I ceramic coat my powder coated Garage roller door? Living in Australia with a very hot climate and near the ocean with salt build up the ceramic should protect & make easier to clean, just hit it with the snow foam cannon & pressure wash off. Winner Winner Chicken Dinner.
Love the banter between the two of you. Always information and straight forward. Now I want to take my tires off and coat them.
Thank you.

Great suggestion!

A white scotchbrite. Ideally be there when they are mounting them and “scuff” them yourself
Very nice wheels. Can’t wait to see them on your jeep
Thank you.
Yvan’s still hitting glug glug McGurk with the metaphorical newspaper.🤣🤣🤣
Yvan’s shaking his head before Nick can finish his thought…
I anticipated his response

As soon as you get them, powder coating is heat cured
@@diydetailofficial thanks
What product would you recommend for bare chrome wheels that are not clear coated? Would that be metal ceramic or one for painted surfaces?
DIY Detail Metal Ceramic

Should the 3yr ceramic coat come out if the bottle darker in color than the 8yr ceramic coat. My 8yr is clear but the 3yr is dark brown?
That is probably because the 3 Year coating has graphene in it.
Yes, the 3 year contains graphene

2 years in the future what is the process of re coating the rims? Same same?
Yes, but the coating will last much longer.

Yeah, but need to polish off old coating to be sure you’re working with virgin substrate.
A light polish is all that’s needed
What about matte wheels were u don't want to polish? @@diydetailofficial
i see you didnt use app on the wheel. is it not necessary on wheels ?
It’s best but these came out of the box a few hours before the video was recorded
@@diydetailofficial thanks for the info!
No need to use APP, Yvan/Nick?
These are new wheels out of the box, and are matte
