But this is still puzzling me: I know you don't say 二个人, and you also don't say 两十, but what about 二十个人 or 二十二个人? Those sound bad to me, but it seems to me that 二十两个人 also isn't right, and I'm pretty certain you wouldn't say 两十个人.
