    It is easy!
    When learning with the app, the explanations are too brief or completely missing, so I sometimes don't understand the meaning of sentences. When explained properly, Chinese grammar is very logical and simple. Thanks for the great video, it's a big help.

    It's confusing how 一点儿 can sometimes mean "a little" but also "not at all". Thank you for the explanation, hopefully I'll get used to it!

    I hope you will explain the meaning of ye3, and how it applies. I've seen it used as an exclamation at the end of sentences in Classical Chinese, but I'm not sure of its current usage.

      Which ye3 are you talking about Jeffrey, I need you to make it more specific, I thought you were talking about 也,but it doesn't go at the end of the sentence, so I need you to tell me the character

    Saw in a text book this pattern: adj + 了 + (一)点儿
    The textbook says that it's used for complaining as well. Wonder if there is any difference between 有点儿贵 and 贵了一点儿?🤔

    in english we say "a little bit". A is One. yi dian.
    in Chinese having dots sounds like measles, inconvenient lots of dots to keep track of. so you complain! you dian.
    We know the dian in yi dian is singular because it says yi.

    Hi great explanation however I was also hoping to understand why the ăn isn't pronounced in diăn or is it and my ears are missing it and if it is silent is this is common in mandarin (the silent syllables in pin yin)? Thanks again.

      not common, but a couple of word when finish with *er,* we tend to not pronounce the character before *er* as its original sound, just to adapt with the *er* sound comes after. I will make videos about those common words end with *er*

    I noticed you dont really pronounce the "N" in "dian" it just rolls over to the "er" part of the phrase. So when I am asked do you speak Mandarin, do I respond a LITTLE by saying Yi dian er? or You dian er? or....qing bangmang....xiexie
