hello Mike, thanks for your message. yes, learning by radicals can speed up the process a lot, but the radicals are not equally common, some of them form a lot of characters, and some of them only few. so you can focus on the most common ones first , then the less common ones 😊😊💙

I'm getting old so I have to write down sentences to learn characters, and these sentences are just right for me, challenging but not too hard. I also wonder how your English is so good!? I listened carefully and I heard just one mistake that I can help you with. "I hope nobody say you that." Say is a transitive verb so it needs an object, like 'give this to him' we say 'I hope that nobody says that to you', Tell is intransitive and different, 'I hope nobody tells you that.' (I hope that explanation is correct ^^)

Fantastic video! Funny enough, I also had a great need to exercise my brain today. I don't know what it is/was, but I just feel a bit lagging. It's probably lack of good conversation and the like. What I get in exchange for all of this hemi-forced solitude is the opportunity to learn another language and any number of other things.

While I have no issue studying Chinese, some creatures claiming to be people here have worked to strip all things and people from me, steal and break my possessions, attempt to label me with issues, or crimes, or drunkenness (anything they might be able to get to stick and be believed) and attempted to break my spirit. That is, someone placed me with devils, and I would have much preferred to have studied Chinese around some who know what love is than these disgusting creatures.

sorry Carlos, it was a mistake, "wo meng zai wen ni yi ge wen ti ma?" means "can I ask you one more question", but the sentence I said was without "zai", so it's just "can I ask you a question?", sorry for it 😊
