if only you didn't have to cut away that much carpet (2:11). I realize it (the bar/mounts) are on the floor, but that is a lot of trimming of both foam and carpet. Sure, once it's in, it's in, but the trimming...However, I do like the bright colors so I can see it when I load/unload items.... 🤔
I totally understand where you’re coming from. The good news is you don’t have to cut it at all if you prefer not to. The carpet can cover the foot/cap almost perfectly while of course still leaving the bar visible.
@@PERRINPerformance ... how does this bar do with the all weather liner that a lot of the cars come with, such as mine (the all weather mat package from the dealer)? The bar is super clean and in black is hardly noticeable.
Sorry for the late response. it would fir with the mat but you would have to trim it around the foot a bit. We use a spacer for the BRZ that would raise the bar about an inch; you'd probably want to trim the carpet a bit but there would be no need to trim the rubber mat. You could reach out to our sales team and we could get those spacers to ya!
