These are the videos of the people that I could find that did the "Triple Shot" with a single action revolver in about a 5th of a second with a real firearm using blanks on film or video.

yo tuco , still cant believe you can pull this off now , the shorts of you training to pull of this move are still fresh in the mind , mad respect
I did a triple shot of tequila when I was in old Mexico…probably not the same thing…😂…I salute 🫡 you, sir…the training and dedication to accomplish the triple fast draw is incredible…and to be in the same category with Mr. Munden…I’m speechless…bravo…👏🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thanks for watching and the nice comment 😃
I had to share…I hope that’s ok with you…✌🏻
it is the same thing, don't let anyone ever try and downplay your accomplishment @Saintlawrence100!
That's a class to be associated with there! TUCO legitimately is chasing legends too! Your's and Bobs are closer that you think. That is insane!!
Thanks for stopping by again my friend and for the kind words.
Total Respect…I miss Bob.
Why the fuck doesn’t this man have 1 million subs already? Hes not just doing all this cool stuff he’s also teaching it.
I may razz Tuco, but I respect his rare talent.
I could never reliably double shoot a single action.
Double tapping a semi-auto is easy, but it's a world of difference with a single action.
Hats off to you Tuco.
Thank ya kindly Sir!
That brings up an interesting question. All of the guys in the montage we’re shooting very rapidly. Could a semi auto fire that fast? Do you know of anyone who’s tried it?
I’m talking about a standard semiautomatic pistol that hasn’t been modified. I think the trickiest part will be doing this with blanks.
I'll be in the Kennedy space center when this releases but I will watch it as soon as possible.
man o man, that is so kickass! I could watch that kinda shooting all day and stay entertained. A tip of the hat is in order for the triple shot club members.
(i tipped it there's just no emoji for it... yet)
Thanks for watching and the nice comment!
Wind noise that was a beautiful male pheasant crowing, beautiful and wonderful!
Yes it was! I scared him up. Ha Ha!
A pretty exclusive club! It’s really crazy to think that more people have walked on the moon than completed the triple shot in .2 seconds! Awesome video, pard!
Thanks Andrew! If you ever get your hands on a SAA race gun I'm sure you'd be joining us in no time.
@@TUCOtheratt let’s home my birthday is kind with gifts made of modified steel eh?
Everyone is fast as hell here, but Bob's just hits different. Tuco buddy, you are very close second. Outstanding display, my friend 👏
We're also glossing over his exceptional accuracy.
Thanks 👍Bobs runs was .10 of a second for all three shots. My best was .12 that's 20% slower!
Bob was amazing he could split cards, shoot coins out of the air and pull off amazing long shots with pistols. But his triple shots were with blanks to show how fast the gun could run.
Almost makes it seem like the single action army has a selector switch with a burst setting. That speed never ceases to amaze!
The mechanical aspect is as amazing to me as the shooting. The controls are the same as they were in 1873. The gun is just slicked up and lightened and reenforced to take the stress.
You are one helluva hand with a shooting iron. I'm an old man so can tell you the old time Montanians that taught me to shoot and hunt would be proud of you.
Thank you kindly Sir! I have lived in Montana for most of my adult life though I was born in CO.
Respect to all who can, from us who wish we could 🤘🤠
Definitely have to agree with you there, if it was easy everyone would do it.
That...is VERY well said. And, to put that into perspective. I watched Bob Munden do a triple shot in his video over 30 years ago. Then, I saw his live show and hired him to build me a SAA race gun. That took 18 months or so and when I got it the main spring (hammer spring) was set too light and I got frustrated with it. So, long story short I sold then gun having never done the triple shot with it even though it was capable of doing it. Then, 30 years of life, kids ,work. Then, in 2023 in my mid 50s I learned to build race guns and I learned to do the triple shot! Took 30 years to make it happen.
Thank you for sharing the old footage of my favorite, Bob Munden.
Glad you enjoyed it! Bob is a legend!
Man love your content look forward to watching every time thank you
Thanks a lot more great stuff coming in the fall.
Outstanding Achievement!👍🏽😀❤️🇺🇸
Thank you kindly.😃
Those are all pretty nice. AR American is coming along nicely also.
Thank you buddy i apprecoate it
I'm really looking forward to this
Me too! Never know who might show up.😃
Woop Woop can't wait to see the show, wild bill would be proud!
Awesome. I have no experience of this, but did martial arts for decades and can appreciate a skill and the likely difficulty of it. I would assume that even getting this right at a much lower speed would require weeks of practice. To become competent, months. And to join the club probably a minimum of a year or two. And natural talent, which may not be there, so…
Well said! It's a personal journey in gunsmithing and practice. Took me 30 years to make it all come together with life in the way. Could be done in a year with no distractions.
@@TUCOtheratt yes, that is how I meant it. A total dedication to it would be required for those timelines. It’s pretty similar in all physical endeavours. Except maybe music. But then natural talent always plays a part and those with it can become gifted while those without even with dedication only get to mediocre.
Tuco o melhor 👏👏👏
tough guy...
Can't wait to see as always love your skill leve,l knowledge and content. Tuco for president
I just found another gentleman that was doing the triple shot, A,R American,he actually said he learned how to triple shot by watching your videos. I think you guys talk but anyway just noticed his triple shot video and figured I'd mention another to join the club of less people than have walked on the moon lol.
@@outlaworganics5991 AR made in The Triple Shot Club!😃
Awesome job on the triple shot club.
Your pretty close to Bob Mundens speed especially off the belt, definitely tip my hat you guys. I would love to get into trying my hand at this, I don't own a race gun or a SAA to turn into one, but you mentioned you can do it with a .22 I owe a Ruger Wrangler single action my question is could this be modified into a race gun? And would it actually be harder as it's a smaller firearm? What would you recommend for gun that can be modified and won't break the bank?
As always thanks for your advice and just being a great human being altogether. Awesome triple shot montage.
@outlaworganics5991 I convert stock Pietta Great Western 2 single action revolvers into race guns. They cost about 600 new. I think a Ruger Wrangler could be converted into a race gun, but I don't know anyone that works on them.
Eh, I keep coming back to this vid and I gotta say, the more I watch it the more I appreciate how smooth Tuco's Triples are. Kid Colt's is smooth too, so is Bob's. But to me, it's just how you lock your wrist in place. Too smooth.
Thank you. It's very hard to do and everyone has a slightly different style. I learned a lot by watching Kid Colt before I could do it.
The triple shot off the belt is still the sickest of them all.
Thank you. I think so too.
WELL NOW I FOR SURE NEED A SAA TO GET THIS DOWN

Legendary
Doing it with blanks is not actually doing it. There is no recoil! But it’s still very amazing!!
I may have to try that
Okay, so i have watches the second Bob Munden clip. Were hes wearing the blue outfit. I looks like the gun double shot off the holster and belt before his fingers fallowed. Did anyone else see it or what. Thanks again for another awesome video
I'm sure it was real but the film quality was poor.
@TUCOtheratt I've watched that chip now a dozen times. I think he did four shots. I was just really surprised and excited. But I just wanted to know if anyone else saw it to. Thank you again for your videos.
you should be in #RDR3 as a character in several missions with the #tripleshot , it would be so awesome actually it's too good to be true
That would be cool!
I wish I lived in America so I could learn how to do this 😓there's no way for me to get a revolver where I live let alone to have a place to try and learn
Have to hand it to all of you

Hey Tuco, getting into the art myself. Bought a nice Uberti El Patron Competition, now I need a gunbelt. Any tips or recommendations for an entry (more importantly affordable) option?
If you want something really nice and affordable I would consider making it yourself. You can find a great how to make western gun rigs book at the leather craft store. To have one made by a pro is around 650 and no guarantee you will like it.
@@TUCOtheratt much appreciated, I'll check that out
Badass video
Thanks 😊
They will ban me from my club range for that ...
Yes, I'm sure they would. I hate club ranges, private or public.
Not many people can do 3 shots in .020 seconds with a semi auto and live ammo never tried it with blanks, damn I'm going to have to find a single action revolver thanks Tuco just what I need another addiction.😃
Ha Ha! First time I saw Bob Munden do the triple 30 years ago I said I want to do that...just got it done less than a years ago. Life gets in the way sometimes.
.20 (one 5th), not .02 (one 50th). Sorry for the nit picking, but let's stay realistic. 🙂
Awesome! I love the channel

Modern day gunslinger
Question: how to create proper blank's for this tricky 3pple problem ;) ?
Can you advice how? Maybe put 3/4 case by volume of black powder, then cork wad and seal it by glue or crimp? No idea ...
I wish I could help.YT doesn't allow me to advise on ammunition construction. There are videos out there that haven't been taken down that show how.
You would be a menace if you were a real gunslinger back in the wild west

I'd like to see a better explanation of the off the holster. as in what is recocking the hammer?

I have a question for you, what is the AVERAGE cost of a good used race gun these days, I remember a video in which you said you came upon one in a pawn shop I believe, while rare I surmise there their out their, so in your experience what is you estimation of a good race gun price, used. By the way, D**M impressive shooting by all and Mr Munden was absolutely amazing and is the all around king of the six gun no doubt, sadly missed, carry on with your work, it’s a treasure and something to behold.
Thanks for the nice comment. The first race gun I ran across was priced around 2500 to my memory and was an odd looking piece imo. My impression was someone was trying to dump a bad build. The second one I ran across was 850 and looked indenticle to the Munden race gun I had built to my memory 30 years before. I bought it and it was not without problems but it would run like a stolen corvette until parts started to wear. I reverse engineered it and learned to build my own SAA race guns (no small task). Now I can buy a Pietta Great Western 2 and convert it into a SAA race gun in about 8 tedious hours of work.
@@TUCOtheratt thanks for the info, I remember now that you mentioned it about $2500 unit. I have a NIB colt single 2nd gen 45 and a 3rd gen 357, I do not want to touch them, however I have a spectacular specimen of an American Western Arms model that colt sued out of existence, to me this piece puts to shame my old 70s early eighty’s clones, like my Ubertis for example, they are better today, what is your opinion or experience with AWA and are they worthy to have built? Thanks for anything on the subject in advance.
@googleeyeseyes4033 never laid eyes on a AWA.
Tuco , whats the possibilities of a man with a thumb and five fingers pulling off six shots ? I've seen two men in my life that has them .
Single stroke fans are faster, I've done 6 in .83 on a video I've also done 6 using individual finger strokes but it's slower. On my channel Thanks!

how is that gun its self so fast !!!.. that's amazing ...let me ask..what's a revolver like that cost to have built ??..
1400 plus and year wait. I do my own.

I don't use blanks can't get my 3 rd off right but I'm getting there
I tried to practice the triple shot with a single action .22 using nail gun blanks and I broke the gun lol. I might just need to save up and get an actual SAA clone cuz the heritage rough rider did not like that one bit, I sheared the trigger spring clean in half and I'm waiting on parts to fix it. big sad.
Sorry man. It's an expensive hobby. A clone won't do any better though. I shoot SAA race guns. I made a video about how they work
hey Tuco, Im just wondering what targets you use and where you get them cant find the exact ones you have. Can you please tell me?
My cardboard targets are USPSA competition targets. IDPA targets also have the same profile.

Super cool stuff I enjoy every split second of it! What is you favorite single action caliber? How is 9mm in a single action?
9mm and 38 are lighter recoil but a heavier gun that's slower on the draw. 45 is faster out of the holster but harder to handle because it's more powerful and a lighter gun. So it's a dilemma.
@@TUCOtheratt Thank you for the information!!
I asking myself If its possible to do 4 shot, maybe you gave to get tout fingers like this 🖖or✌️, anyway i love tout videos
Would .25 secs count as passing dry fire? Just how hard is it to shave .05 secs?
Hard

Btw completed one race build based off your Patreon subscription. Tempting to try the BP guns now - anyone interested go to his website for the latest on race gun builds how tos.
Tuco, does it have to be done with a SAA or clone SAA. Or is it possible to do it with something like a ruger super Blackhawk?
Any single action. but it will have to have custom work done on it. See my "How A SAA Race Gun Works" video.
@@TUCOtheratt I have watched that video several times previously. I love all of your work by the way. I am fine with doing the conversions to upgrade it but didn’t want to waste my time on the ruger, which I am most comfortable with, if it would not count. Thanks for the quick response too sir.
Curious question, how good is your cross holster draw
The holster's fine just takes all day to get a shot off compared to side mounted holster.
Challenge accepted. Also, 1/2 of a second. Not a 1/5.
1/5 is the standard. Bob did it in 1/10th! (.10 of a second for all three shots) I did it in .12
Was a triple shot used in the old West? Billy the kid etc.?
no. the guns and machining of the day were too primitive.
So what I'm seeing, you just need to get the shots off, you don't necessarily have to hit anything or be accurate, right?
Do you do work on guns for people? or do you have any recommendations on people who do I’m looking at getting a race gun done it’s a pietta great western 2
You got the right gun! YT doesn't allow such conversations... stupid I know. But I only work on my own guns.
@@TUCOtheratt i gotcha. I will also say you talked me into the pietta before I saw your channel I had never even heard of them I had seen other clones but was unsure about the quality of them and I’ve seen your video talking about them vs the colts and now after holding both the pietta was a no brainer it may be a sin somewhere but I think I may actually like it better than the colt

1860 black powder gun or modern ammunition ?
1873 design (reinforced to take the stress). Blanks in this video but I've done it with live ammo on my channel.
@@TUCOtheratt i wonder if it is realisable with a 1858 Remington black powder.

Yes.
@@TUCOtheratt good man. Always better to do it yourself. Much cheaper too!
That’s two opinion
?
That timing gotta be real good. not to soon or late and perfect placement of everything. since you said .22 counts do you think a rough rider would hold up? lol
It would need custom gunsmithing to be able to take the stress
@@TUCOtheratt i figured... Ill play with it and see what happens. worst case ill have to spend $150 again, but ill watch it
@@TUCOtherattso I played around with it dry (safety on), and it was pretty fun. Considering it was my first few minutes trying (my thumb got sore pretty quick) I pretty much only looked at the gun, and my hand. My best time was .31, and it was a little wobbly, and likely not super accurate, but I made sure there was no funny business going on with the hammer. I’m looking forward to throw some blanks in. I think I might be able to hit this once my thumb toughens up a bit, and I get the motion down so I can follow through with confidence and look straight forward. No clue how long it’ll take, and I’ve got no clue if the rough rider will hold up/function as intended, but I’m down for it.
I got those snap caps to practice reloading a while ago but I just haven’t been focused on it. I’ll probably save the single action reloads for later but this triple shot really seems like something I can throw into my rotation without having to sacrifice time for my pistol, revolver, shotgun, and ar.
