People likes "The Reason", but this is THE BEST SONG of this band.
The reason sucks same direction is 100 times better and one of their best songs.
Lucky for me I had heard and liked crawling in the dark because if the reason was the first song of theirs i had heard I would have thought they were shit and wouldnt want to hear another.
People have no taste in music that this has under 5 mill in views and the reason has almost 260 mill and it sucks.
Let Justin Bieber or Timberlake sing that shit.

I never understood why people hate on hoobastank, I enjoy their music. I saw them live when they opened for incubus in 2006. I was incredibly impressed at how great they were live. Incubus was great as well.

@Eric L I saw Incubus a long time ago and barely remember. I've been to so many shows. My favorite venues are outdoors. We have a place in Mich called Pine Knob that's really great.

This bring me back some nostalgic and fresh memories, the period of videogames and Viva plus.... :'( I used to see the world differently and that song which is the sequel of "The Reason" has crucially gave me some unique feeling and by listening to it again it affects completely my emotions in the way in which it gives me goosebumps and take me far away.

Well I never knew that the reason video had a follow on video! this was a pretty fantastic surprise seeing this for the first time after 11 years of assuming the reason was it's own story.

Hoobastank's set on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at the Sick New World festival in Las Vegas was one for the ages. They opened with this track, and it was pure energy and enthusiasm throughout the entire set.
Since it was basically a metal festival, Doug introduced "The Reason" by announcing "This is the heaviest, most brutal song you're gonna hear all day," and then did some hilarious death growls over the opening notes before starting to actually sing.
The whole band radiated an awesome, energetic attitude. Pure positivity. I'm primarily a metal fan, but I have to admit, Hoobastank were one of my favorite acts of the day. Pure fun rock and roll.
The guitar parts in this jam is one of the biggest influences of why I play a PRS to date. Keep Loud!!!❤

Am I the only one that has seen this video for the fist time? I didn't even knew there was a sequel to The Reason video. Seeing a cameo appearance from Kanye West and Joel Madden just blew my mind but seeing Chester Bennington just brought tears of joy. Glad I discover this jem.
Yeah The reason was pushed big on MTV back in the day but this wasn’t for some reason. I guess cause it’s more punkish and not so mainstream pop.
