not sure when i was introduced to LP since i never had a choice in music until i had my own car. was all country all the time but nearly 40 myself an while my taste in music may change slightly LP will forever be one of the top bands in the made up list of bands in my head.
I grew up these guys and I've gotten so close to them. Linkin Park was the pinnacle of my childhood.

Jay Clah Other albums of LP are also good but they aren't really Linking Park since it is no NuMetal. They started as Numetal band and also got famous with NuMetal. To most people their name is rather connected to NuMetal music .. but i guess this will change with future generations.

Mike said in one of his interviews that they wanted to make another album that sounded like Hybrid Theory because the bar for expectations was higher.

Everybody always talks about Chester and Mike (for good reason), but can we just take a second to appreciate just how freaking incredible the rest of the band is too? The instrumental style is a huge part of what makes me love Linkin Park so much.

Madellyn Pineda the 1st time I heard one more light was the day I had to put my 5 year old cat to sleep from kidney failure. Song made me ball my eyes out... looking back at that album, one more light, its like he was telling us what was going to happen, how he felt, it was one more album for everyone. That beginning Still gives me goosebumps every time. My favorite thing to do is listen to each track multiple times while scrolling these comments. The energy in LP comments are nothing but pure crystalline love
I grew up listening to linkin park. I was depressed throughout my high school years and listening to them made me feel quite validated and made me realize that there's someone out there who understands. Now I'm 24 and my mental health state has improved a lot, but I really wish someone had done something to help Chester not to commit suicide.

My father used to say when we were little, that no matter what, just anything, we can work ot out.. there is nothing so bad etc. that we couldnt make it better from there on..
When the mind is black, of course this is hard to reason, but still.. if anything people, seek and ask help. Say you dont feel well. There is people who can and want to help, you all are worth it! We all are!

chester's death is so surreal..so many people grew up listening to linkin park. he was the main music figure i was raised listening to. hybrid theory was the first album i ever remember hearing and was the gateway to the music i listen to today. papercut- the first track to an iconic album that had an influence on so many people.
