I want to try this! I used to sew some clothing and made the boys some little jumpers when they were small. Just been awhile since I’ve made anything bout quilt tops 😊
I am so glad you did this without a pattern….would love to see you do more pieces without patterns, just measurements and directions on laying body measurements on fabric , cutting and sewing. Thank you !
Youre tutorials are so informative and easy to follow. I also like the realistic approach you give and the little time saving tips. Thanks for posting this!
I usually make skirts without pattern's from worn out skirts that need replaced. Yours is lovely. I would be nervous about the side cuts because knowing me I would mess that up. I am curious if you did a measurement first, so you knew where to cut? I think if I knew how to do that, I could use my ruler and cut the line.
I'm going to watch again, I know how to do it, just confused about how you cut into the waist for the tapered look..... I'm gonna slow down the video.....lol
Impressive. What type of material is this? I am a fabric hoarding quilter but I have been getting more and more curious to make clothes. It looks complicated yet so tempting.
We all come in different sizes so how did you figure the waist and side(hip) measurements. I've watched other videos and it still doesn't click 😭. I like the soft gathers so about how much bigger than my waist (hips) do I need to add? Just figured if I follow your numbers it might turn out to be a pencil skirt or one for a polka!
Would have loved to see this tutorial with side seam pockets! ❤
Exactly what I came to say lol
Yes, pockets are life!

Very cute😊
Where did you get your tags? Do you make them or order them?
Thank you for sharing. It definitely made a look so easy. So, do you have your sewing foots in clear pocket binders?
I love this so much!!! What fabric is this?
What container is that for your sewing machine feet?
Do you have a video showing how to add a pocket to the skirt?

I’d like to know the type of material also 😍
